Better than before.
It is a good sign that they don't overstock, so that we do not have to worry about expiry dt.

We go there frequently even before this owner bought this store.
Last Saturday we went there after 8 pm and I was very happy that all staff were happily working, responding nicely and all were looking in cheerful mood even it was end of the day that makes me very happy as I believe in good customer service. Moreover, it's Diwali time so I liked that kind of happy environment.

A decent Indian store with a variety of Indian products! Prices are reasonable, and the staff was friendly!

Worst place ever! I went back 2 days after picking up something in a hurry not realizing that although it was still on the shelf, it was actually expired. I had the receipt. They refused to take it back and actually claimed that I was committing fraud because I had purchased this item previously and was trying to return it now. I told them I have no problem if they want to look at their security camera. They refused to accept the return.

They said many people were claiming to do the same thing. WELL - that's because they don't clear and stock their shelves properly. I expect that they should be taking expired items off the shelves. Isn't that part of ensuring you have good food products to sell to the customers? Why are you trying to sell expired products to customers? It wreaks of corporate greed. They don't want to absorb the cost for spoiled goods, so pass it onto the customer!

Never going back. I'm only giving them 1 star because the system won't accept zero stars.

Om food is an "okay" indian store providing groceries and Indian household items which are well priced. I want to question if it is at par with cleanliness standards grocery stores are expected to maintain.

This is your one stop shop for all your requirements of Indian spices and other ingredients. The aisles are always full of interesting stuff that you can pick up. If you can't find what you need, you can always request the ever helpful staff to order it for you. Overall a must visit if you enjoy dishing out savouries out of your kitchen!

Prices r pretty good. Lanes r tight. Does need cleaning for sure as one can visibly see the dirt.

Prices seems bit high compared to other local grocery stores, good thing is we get most of the Indian items.

Staff at this store are worse. Today, I just requested mangoes which I have given order last week, one of the staff members said we called you but your phone was unreachable so what we can do. I said how it's possible that it's unreachable and they started arguing. They called people Uncle and Aunty. Staff members such as Khushi and Ankit they called me Aunty and tried to stop me and made me feel guilty and old. Especially, Khushi needs to learn manners that you don't call people Aunty or Uncle outside or without a relationship. By the way, Khushi will become Aunty one day of someone. When I complained to owner about this and also tried to be nice with him after all these incidents, owner was still shows that it was my fault and argued. I will never ever visit this as they don't respect people. Self respect is better than dealing with these arrogant people.

I have been visiting this store for years.today i wanted to exchange something but the guy there who says he is the owner rudely refused.i was shocked at the worst behavior.even the cashier telling me i am lying.i will never go to this store and would strongly advice other people not to go to this store.if there is any other owner i would like to talk to him.please contact.

Just stays a bit crowded during the weekends

I can find almost all Indian groceries. Prices are relatively better than Panchvati and other stores but still on higher side. Staff is very helpful.

Absolutly small and over priced. Nothing like the Thornhill Om India (now called little India) which is very good in comparison.

Fine place with decent prices. Floors could be mopped better, and one staff member I have seen countless times fills groceries and brooms the floor with the same pair of gloves.

Mangoes were ripened via injected fertilizer. The store does not allow you to see them at the shop & has no return policy on these. So you are stuck with $43 worth of unhealthy Alphonso Mangoes.

For all other products- Rice, vegetables, packed and frozen foods, prices are expensive compared to nearby Walmart.

This stores benefits indian newcomers to Canada by providing them their daily needed food items although is not quite economical and also lacks variety and ambience to make it a must visit store.

There is a pandemic. Yes they ‘limit’ the amount of people that can go inside at a time but wearing masks without covering your nose is just reckless. The employees, including the owner were not adequately wearing masks.

Absolutely no safety measures enforced in this very real pandemic time. Owner/operator didn’t seem to care. Group of youngsters were gathered in isle, checkout and at the exit. The place is small and isles are narrow. Only one cash counter open. No physical distancing enforced or even encouraged.

Pros: Easy to find and good parking available. Cons: store is tight, needs to be better organized and prices are high

You will surrounded by people from all corners for eternity due to narrow aisles.

The customer service is kind of a hit or miss with this store. Some workers are really nice and others are extremely reckless and treat you like cattle, especially the so-called manager of this place.

Ensure to check the price on every product since it is inflated on most of the products compared to other places.

Beware of Gujarati cuss words from the manager, if you are checking expiry date on the products.

Looks like, exercising consumer rights out here is prohibited.

Most of the products are for Gujarati diaspora and choices are limited for others.

We visit this place almost every other weekend to get our Indian grocery. You even get Indian utensils and mangoes here. Price are reasonable and not as high as other Indian stores. If you are looking for Indian snack, vegetables, utensils or fruits, I recommend this place.
It can get crowded at times, however you can still maneuver. Apart from that everything else is good.

You can find Indian and Pakistani groceries, carry lot of variety. Needs to be more clean and organized. I found the prices were high as compared to other stores.

The people are so rude and unhelpful. I would never go there again and will tell all my family and friends to stop going there.
Even during the pandemic, they let people in without mask and it's a zoo in there.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Been shopping at this store for the last several years. Service is awful and prices are unreasonable now. Bought chana daal 2 weeks ago packed in April 2020. Opened it today. There are bugs crawling. Called the store and they refuse to do anything about it because I don’t have the receipt. Instead the owner, Deepak was rude and yelled at me. It has their store label on it. I also bought same for charity. Hope they didn’t use without checking.i don’t plan to return to their store.

Little Indian Grocery store run by Gujarati family. You'll find every little Indian spice, packaged food from here.

Prices have been jacked up heavily.
They do not tag the prices on the packets and this gives them a chance to charge any price at their discretion.
One can no longer cross check the bill.
Government should investigate the proce gouging in this store. I wonder why no one from the government has yet visited this store.

Great place. You can get almost every thing that's North Indian at this store.
Price is a little expensive, (just a tiny much) but I'd pay that if I'm getting everything I need.

Indian grocery is good but it's little dirty place. Some of product price is so high. But over all good place you can find Indian grocery and vegetables are good but expensive. Cheak price before you buy. Gujarati food Khaman I like so much it's so testy must try.

Mid size South East Asian (Indian) grocery store with fresh vegetables, flour, ready packaged naan/chapati/pav bhaji bread, lentils, spices, cooking pots, religious ceremony utensils/Poona items, lots of ready to eat packaged snacks, frozen snack, packaged sweets, some religious dad's, can use shopping cart in most of the store except the small snacks section with lot items, friendly staff, reasonable prices, big enough parking with some convenient parking spots in front of the shop.

Has a fine selection of products, but overpriced. For instance, the Patanjali products can be much better priced but they are expensive here.

They don't bother about the customer service, rude and act as if they are giving things in charity.plus they don't want to fill the grocery in packing bags even when there is no queue, the girl on the counter kept talking on the phone but didn't touched the grocery to fill in bags.

My experience with this store was very bad, the cashier apparently also the store manager was extremely rude and lacks customer service. Lot of vegetables were rotten and overpriced, I will never come here again.
