Omega family restaurant

It's a family restaurant serving great comfort food at very reasonable prices. My wife and I both had a soup and sandwich combo. Generous helpings and good service.

Conveniently located near where I live. I came here twice with my husband and daughter and we all enjoyed the breakfast.

Its one nice place to go and have breakfast, maybe lunch and dinner too but i went here for breakfast only.its good to be here and ambience is always nice and you can see happiness in the whole restaurant, even servers are always happy to serve and patient to listen.good to go always

I love coming here for the single pork souvlaki. Great greek salad and greek potatoes. Good food at a price that I can afford. I continue to come back here.

I ordered online. Only ordered two menu items. Didn't receive my breakfast sandwich And the platinum breakfast meal only arrived with eggs bacon and home fries. Very disappointed! Not ordering from here again.

Good portions, great staff. Food is always fresh and the presentation is very appealing. Never disappointed! Hercules burger is the best burger in town hands down. Only took off the one star because after asking several times they still haven't updated the price you pay in the restaurant that is advertised on line.

My husband ordered fish and chips but the fish wasn't battered like indicated on menu. I ordered a Singapore Sling not made the way it was supposed to, don't like soda water in it instead of orange juice, someone needs a refresher course on how to make this drink.

My family absolutely loves it here, the staff are actually one of the best parts about the place, always friendly and kind, meals are great for price and they're extremely accommodating towards their customers! Keep up the great work guys! Truly outstanding

I just thought I would share my wonderful experiences I've had ordering from here. I just recently ordered from here through skip the dishes and the food was so amazing I just ordered again tonight. They have huge portions and at a time where most restaurants are scalling back they certainly stand out. I've ordered their veggie stir fry twice now and it's massive. So flavorful and you can honestly get 3 meals out of it. Their hamburgers are delicious and the best baklava I've had. Thank you so much for such wonderful food. Definitely will be ordering from here more often.

Very clean & friendly staff, I have ordered food for pick up but love to go for dine-in soon. Pork souvlaki dinner is big portion & actually tastes like original souvlaki.

Every single bite of the chicken stir fry was absolutely delicious. Portions are large, and food was hot and perfectly prepared. The waitress was very friendly, and the food was served quickly.

Reasonable and cheaper prices than many other restaurants. Large portions. Great quality meat and home fries seasoned very well. Very generous with scrambled eggs. STAR OF THE SHOW ARE THE PANCAKES. Maybe the best I’ve had. Crispy and fluffy and very flavourful!

Great Greek food the lemon potatoes are the best I've ever had. The chicken and the pork souvlaki are both juicy and tender.

I came with a group a friends for brunch after church on Sunday. It was highly recommended by a couple in our friend group who were regulars, and I must say, it lived up to the hype! Great prices, he wrote portion sizes, and delicious food! I ordered the gold breakfast, which consisted of eggs, home fries, toast, and a choice of breakfast meat. I chose the polish sausage, which I definitely recommend! It had so much flavour and was so fragrant! The home fries were crispy and fluffy, and beautifully seasoned. The eggs I ordered over easy, and they were cooked perfectly! Wait staff was quick and friendly as well, although it took us a while to get our bills since it was a very busy day for them and they may have been a little understaffed.

We ordered through Skip the dishes (twice now!) the food was hot, delicious and HUGE portions! Its awesome and delicious. Love ordering from here!

I love this place for breakfast. I had the Veggie skillet. I wish I would have taken a picture. I went at 9am on a Sunday and it was not busy. However, they were a little slow refilling coffee. I wish they would just put a personal pot of coffee on the table. That is my only complaint breakfast was delicious!

I brought my Mother-in-law to Omega Restaurant on Dec. 11,2021,5: 30. She ordered the gyro lamb with ceasar salad, I had ceasar salad and fries with gravy and also ordered a chicken souvlaki dinner to take home for my husband. My M-I-Llaws lamb was really dry and hard around the edges and the pita was too hard to fold around the meat and salad She told the server and her reply was, "Oh, I'm sorry, I'll let the cook know. No offer to replace the meal or refund. Very disappointed. We usually get great service and absolutely awesome food. I don't know if maybe it was a new cook or what, but I brought my Mother-in-law to Omega thinking the meal would be superb as usual. Instead it was a total bust. Even the customer service was under par, (meaningThe cook with no response. Sorry to say we won't be returning.

The pork was extremely tough. But they replaced it with chicken. And it was very good. The rest of the meal was great.

Amazing food, best prices in the entire city. Must try everything on their menu. I hope they stay open for ever and ever. 12.99 for a big plate of spaghetti that feeds my 3 kids and wife plus left overs. Like c monnnnn that's unheard of in 2021.

Food was decent. We got our food quick, which was nice. We had the Chicken souvlaki and Steak dinner I must say the food was so delicious. I highly recommed Omega Restaurant.

I just ordered two souvlaki meals from Omega and was reminded of how great this place is. $40 bucks bought me two BIG meals that were delicious! Thank you Omega!

Great value, staff were wonderful, we took our 1.5 year old and we all thoroughly annoyed our meals. Will definitely be returning.

We have been eating here since the restaurant opened about 15 years ago and have always been very happy. We have continued to eat here during covid and have been surprised with the quality of the take out. We usually order the same each time, club sandwich and chicken souvlaki. On the last order the club was very cold which struck me as strange but forgot about it when ordering tonight. I believe the club sandwiches are made in advance and stored in the fridge until needed, yuk! This time not only was the club ice cold but could not cut the chicken in the souvlaki. Called to express our concern over the quality of the food and all we got was "I'll let the kitchen know". Very disappointing!

Food was decent.it was quite empty so we got our food quick, which was nice. I wish the server would have been more attentive and checked on us considering the restaurant was empty, and topped up our coffee at the very least.

Ordered from Skip the dishes. Ordered Spaghetti and meat sauce. Very disappointed all noodles very little sauce. Paid twenty dollars for noodles. We will never order out or eat in again. I was totally ripped off. We will never recommend this place. Thanks for nothing.

Good food, good atmosphere. Went for brunch, good food, especially for the price! Not getting 5-stars just because there isn't something "special, " expect standard North American food.

LOVE the Greek food here! Massive portions and taste authentic! Always order from here for my mom and dad's birthday now. They love it too! Infact we are ordering from there tomorrow!

Just tried Omega for the first time tonight.
The portions are absolutely insane. I gave it 4 stars because the chicken in my chicken souvlaki meal had a strange texture (is it true chicken breast, or formed chicken? It didn't have the texture of real chicken breast), the potatoes were very salty, and the salads are so big that you need way more than 1 small cup of dressing.
Overall I will be going back. We got our food delivered within 20 minutes and it was piping hot. My daughter loved the pita and fries. I especially enjoyed my rice.

The souvlaki meal is so big that you could share it with another. I appreciate when my money goes a long way with a restaurant, as I feel these days that you get less and less now.

Love this place. Been coming for years now. Here to support them on reopening. Awesome place amazing food. Huge portions for the price. And staff rocks always friendly and on their game. Would highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work.

Always great.ask for Lemmy. Update: 2021.went for dinner. Family no longer owns it. Owner was extremely rude after i was served a disgusting slop that apparently was cordon blue.garbage never going back.

My husband ordered the open faced chicken cordon blue fettuccine served with "Mushroom sauce" the dish was inedible as it was not served with mushroom sauce but rather an instant beef gravy. Chicken and ham on top of pasta with an thick instant beef gravy for the sauce. He sent the dish back immediately and did not eat. We had to ask for the bill and to our surprise we were charged for the dish. The owner was very rude and told my husband she did not care if he could not eat it. It was explained in the menu what it was and it's not her problem if he didn't like it and we left upset. This used to be a favorite place of ours which is why we decided to go here for our first family outting. Unfortunately since the change in ownership a couple years back the place has gone extremely down hill and we will not be returning.

Ordered tonight for the first time and I Cannot wait for a return to normal so we can visit in person. Delicious chicken, generous portions, 5 stars.

Just got takeout from here, and it was fantastic! Calimari was great, steak was perfect, greek salad was massive, fries were also great. The portions were really big, and everything I ordered was jus great!

Just got takeout as as we liked eating here before lockdown. Food is great, portions are fabulous. Worth a taste. Especially the Greek potatoes.

The good:
Potions are big
greek rice and potatoes are pretty good

The not so great:
-kabobs are very rubbery textured and lack flavour.
-The salads here just taste like they have been in the fridge for more than 12+ hours and are nothing special.
- The turkey here lack flavour big time and is dry
- The stuffing here is incredibly salty and doesn't have much else stuffing flavour
- gravy here is also very salty.

Overall, I only come here for the greek rice and potato.

We ordered 2 Chicken Souvlaki dinners. Portions are enormous and great quality of food.

This was our first time ordering from Omega Family Restaurant. We ordered 3 Souvlaki dinners for our family of three.

Oh. My. God! Talk about an abundance of food riches.

We had enough food to feed five! The hot food was packaged separately from the cold food, with the salad dressing and the feta and the tzatziki in their own little containers as well.

It was damn good and we were amazed at how much food we got for the little amount that we paid. We most definitely will be ordering again.

Nothing fancy, but a decent portions, good food at a fair price. In my opinion, very similar to Jack's (St. Jacobs), the Daily grill (Waterloo) or the Sip and Bite (Elmira). Large menu, something there for everyone. A good family choice.

Been to the restaurant several times and love the food. I've missed having Greek food since the pandemic, so it's been a year and a half. Decided to order Skip The Dishes and so, SO happy we did. The food portions were massive, and taste so amazing. Way better than I remember. Definitely going to be ordering there again.

We order take out from here regularly. The food is always amazing. The service too. We pick the food up ourselves and sometimes go in to use the washroom. Restaurants always super clean. Social distancing and sanitizer always in place!

My wife and I each ordered a Gyros Dinner for our take out order tonight. Like the other comments say, the portions were quite large, but, the appearance and taste of the food was not quite what I was expecting after reading all the numerous positive reviews for this restaurant.

The gyro meat was extremely dry and looked reheated and the accompanying rice tasted like it was instant microwave rice. My wife's Gyros Dinner did not include the advertised tzatziki sauce and her salad did not have any feta or salad dressing, so we had to share mine.

Maybe their eat-in option is better than take out, but I don't think we'll be ordering again from this restaurant any time soon.

Highly recommend Omega restaurant. I called this morning for a lunch take out order and when I arrived to pick up everything was perfect! They also included dessert for 4 on the house.great food! Great service.highly recommend. Support local

Good place for a family meal. It has big portions and the price is reasonable. I have tried lasagna (pretty good) as well as their Greek kebab. I didn’t like the kebab personally (texture was rubbery), but over all would go there again for a cheap, generous meal.

Ordered here for the first time. Food was amazing, service was great. I only wish they wouldn't use styrofoam containers.

Our favourite restaurant in town; the portions are always generous and the food is delicious. We get our food as take-out these days and it is always well prepared and exactly what we ask for. The souvlaki and gyros are particularly good, as are the deserts.

Very Good experience. Got delivered with Skip the Dishes. Chicken souvlaki dinner. Chicken was moist and flavourful, same with potatoes and rice. The salad was ok, but could have been fresher and I didn't like these particular olives (usually I like olives) the salad dressing was excellent. I will order again.
