Ordered by phone. Ready fast. Lights were off outside and in. Wasn’t sure if it was open. Steak sandwich. Steak not great. A little tough. Bun not great either. Fresh. But most Italian sandwich places use the Italian bakery bread. Drink fridge mainly empty. Only a few different Coke products. Don’t think I’d return. It wasn’t bad, just not great.
I wasn’t expecting a hamburger/fries combo to be as good as it was. Homemade patty cooked on the flattop. Great texture, fresh, etc. One of the better burger options in the area.
Really nice sandwiches, we tried the veal and chicken. Price is reasonable for the size of the sandwich. They also have sides like fries, onion rings, salads as well as espresso and cannoli.
I’ve tried a lot of veal sandwiches and this one was right up there. The perfect amount of sauce, the bun was soft and the spice level was perfect. I will definitely be back!
Delicious, but pricey. It was good, but I don't think it's worth over $15. Each topping was $1.25, and all I added was a slice of cheese and a side of sauce. It would be more worth it if they added more veal, or included a topping. The service was friendly and quick. The only reason why I wouldn't rate this as a 5* is because it isn't value for your money.
I am a college student and I tend to get hungry but don’t know what to eat. When I found about about this restaurant it made life easier. Corleone's, was literally next door so I could grab a bite to eat anytime. Their meals are healthy and well prepared. A wonderful restaurant.
Corleone's is my go to place for quick dine in or take out! The food is awesome. The best veal sandwich hands down. The place is very clean and run by exceptional people.
I go here almost weekly and must say it’s one of the best Italian sandwiches I ever had! Always made fresh and prepared very neat. My go to is the spicy chicken with mushrooms and rapini! The staff is also very nice and friendly:) can’t believe I didn’t discover this spot years ago but now it’s a lunch staple. I recommend all my friends and family to try it out!
These are 100% the best Italian sandwiches in Mississauga. I used to like spots like California sandwiches, but Corleone’s definitely has the most authentic and flavourful Italian sandwiches in the area.
This store has out beaten California sandwiches and San Francesco. I have gotten food from here 3x and honestly, the sandwiches just tastes better and better when I order them. Comparing them from the other 2 I just mention, they just get better and better, unlike San Francesco, which used to be my go to place, would always taste different, even though it’s the same exact order. 100% trying out this place if you haven’t.
I go to Corleone's often on my lunch breaks. The sandwiches are so fresh and amazing and the service is always great! The associate at cash is so sweet and remembers me and my coworkers every time we go in. I recommend getting the chicken and veal sandwiches, they are to die for!
Finally a really good and authentic Halal Italian sandwich place! Food is amazing and the staff is courteous and fast. We had the chicken, veal, and meatball sandwiches with cheese mushroom and sweet peppers, with regular spicy sauce. All three of the sandwiches were delicious, and I would definitely recommend this place.
Came in a few weeks ago to finally try the best Italian sandwich in Mississauga and the sandwich did not disappoint. I ordered a medium spicy veal sandwich with the works - it was delicious. My only criticisms are that it was quite an expensive sandwich (about $16) and the medium spice felt more like a mild.
Stopped by with my friend on our way to a tattoo appointment and found this cute lil restaurant! The people were lovely and the food was amazing. If I’m ever in Mississauga again I will definitely come back:)
I've been coming to this place for years. Best veal sandwich in town, hands down. The service is quick and super friendly. Sue and her staff are very nice and kind and always greet you with a smile and a friendly chat.
I walked in to Corleone's with Zero Expectations, but oh my, I was in for a surprise. I ordered the Spicy Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich and it was delicious. The sandwich was big enough for me to get a takeout and savor it the next day. I am looking forward to trying the Veal Sandwich next.
I’m not quite sure how this place has 4.5 stars. Half the meat and toppings as other sandwich shops for the same price or more. The veal sandwich cannot compare to California’s or San Francescos. 3 stars MAX if we are rating true Italian sandwich shops.
Disappointing. Not the breaded veal sandwich I remember. When did they start slicing the meat? Couple of slices, few mushrooms I could count on one hand and slivers of sweet pepper. Wife's chicken was okay. Ours was the last order of the day and looked like it. Coming here for years, not since name change, don't know about returning.
First I’d like to say the customer service at Corleon’s is top notch. Secondly and arguably most importantly, the food is delicious. The veal is actually real veal, not tenderized beef. I can testify to all their sandwiches. From friends that also frequent this fine establishment they swear by the burger and wings. All in all this is a must try for any foodie in southern Ontario area.
Great food and service. Their veal and chicken a la carte in sauce are excellent. The lasagna is terrific. Their Corleone special burger is delicious. Great fries!
The owners are fantastic and service is quick. The food is some of the best sandwiches I have had. You will not go wrong coming here for lunch or dinner and you will leave satisfied.
This place will not disappoint! Have been a customer for years and still always look forward to returning. It used to be called On-A-Bun; but I’m happy to report that the ownership has remained the same and the food is still extremely delicious! Really love the steak & onion sandwich.tastes much better than the competition. They’ve also added new items to the menu (since the rebranding) - including chicken wings & burgers. Owner + employees are super friendly too! Make sure to give them a try:)
Moved to Mississauga this summer and tried Corleone’s Italian sandwich - wow. Love their eggplant, loaded with everything & double hot. Fresh ingredients - good service and most of all, great tasting sandwich.
Excellent sandwiches, just love the eggplant. A wonderful sauce combined with the tender lightly breaded fried eggplant on a great bun. Another excellent choice is the grilled chicken with mushroooms. The menu has something for everyone from sandwiches to pasta to hamburgers. Haven't tried the entire menu out yet but Corleones hits them right out of the park
Hits the spot! If you're in the hood looking for a quick bite, and like me, a sandwich lover, look no further. Everything you would expect from a great veal sandwich. Layers of thin crisp veal, smothered in a tangy red sauce on a fresh kaiser roll. Get it spicy with cheese and peppers for the full experience. It's big and messy sandwich, which is a good thing, so bring extra napkins. Extra points for having brio in bottles.classic. An absolute must to wash everything down. Extremely satisfying.
I've been going to Corleone's since it was known as On a bun. The owners of Corleone's in my opinion have improved the veal sandwich taste. The veal they serve has is super tender and the sauce on it is amazing. This place in my opinion is better the California Sandwhiches
Family, friends, and I called in close to closing time and the owner and staff went above and beyond to accomodate us! Haven't been here in years, but the food today was spectacular. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I had the veal and added eggplant, and I think this is my new go-to. Other sandwiches enjoyed were the meatball. Fries and mozza sticks were good too, and the olives were heavenly! Everything is made fresh in house, and you can taste it. Can't wait to come back! Also haven't seen many places that offer up a halal fatina (veal cutlet) or meatballs, so that's extremely impressive. Thank you On-a-bun!
I just recently started going here and I’ve tried the veal, steak and onions, and meatball sandwiches. All three sandwiches were delicious and the service was quick and friendly.
Ordered the chicken and veal sandwiches - they were amazing! Our kids ages 8 and 5 even enjoyed the chicken sandwich. Best halal Italian sandwich place on the west side. Can't wait to try their burgers next which are coming soon!
Tried this place out for the first time since they switched to an ALL HALAL menu and both me and my wife loved it. The owner was very respectful and friendly and took his time explaining the menu to us and making suggestions based to figure out what we would like most. 5 stars, will definitely come back and recommend to family and friends.
Today a Buddy and me were in Mississauga purchasing an item and saw this restaurant out of the corner of our eye. We went in, the manager / owner extremely friendly, his wife was the chef. I had a veal sandwich. It was incredible. So tender and tasty. My Buddy had a meatball sandwich and he said the meatballs were so tasty and had great spice in them. He also enjoyed his sandwich. In Mississauga again, I will definitely visit this restaurant! Thank you On The Bun for a great experience!
Recently found out that they're hand slaughtered halal and I had to come by. I had the veal sandwich and it was amazing. The owner was also very friendly
Great spot for amazing sandwiches, very kind and welcoming staff. The large sandwich serves as two meals for me, and is definitely is one the best I've ever had, I'd reccomend this place in a heartbeat.
Everything is scrumptious. My go to is the chicken sandwich (spicy)! I'd definitely recommend the meatball sandwich as well. Extra sauce on the side and olives, you can't go wrong
This used to be the best veal sandwich I ever had. When they franchised it took a step down but it was still good. I ordered a sandwich today. The bread is different (not good at all), barely any toppings (even though they charge quite a bit for onions and mushrooms), and there is barely any veal on it. One layer! Wow how bad a place can get. To top it all off, they were "sold out" of all the sides I usually order. No olives, soppressatta, nothing. I won't be eating here ever again. I use to come once a week, now i will go to California's where at least you get value for your money.
Amazing sandwiches and friendly environment. I've been going here consistently for the past two weeks and still enjoy each visit and each bite. Best sandwiches in Mississauga
I ordered 2 Steak Sandwiches and an order of Pasta. I asked for extra sauce on the Pasta, I even went as far to say I want the pasta covered and or swimming in sauce. I get home and open it and there is barely any sauce on the pasta, not even remotely enough for a regular order let alone extra sauce. You should pay way more attention to getting a customers order correct. That was sad, even for someone not wanting extra sauce, that was a pathetic excuse should pay more attention to a customers order. Threw it out
Good food, cute little shop. We ordered two chicken sandwiches - one medium, one hot - they weren't spicy at all. A little disappointing, but overall a decent place to get a chicken parm sandwich.
While not the most cost effective place for a student to eat it is much better than the freezer food or fast food I often eat. Jokes aside their sauce is excellent, when you choose spicy there is actually jalapenos in it, best sandwich I'm going to find anywhere in the area around my school. Coffee is also much better than the Tim Hortons next door.
This place has the BEST sandwiches in the world for Italian Cuisine lovers. I tried the Eggplant one which was awesome. It had great flavor. Moreover, the customer service was great too.
