Absolutely would never step back in this establishment with how they handle things. I brought clothes in and as I waited for them to be sorted through, I decided to look around the store. I asked if I could use their change room to change my daughter. The area surrounding the change room in itself is a hazard. You can't even walk through it with a stroller without taking half the aisle down with you. I placed my daughter on the change table and immediately the photo they have placed above the table fell down on my daughter. I placed the photo on the ground. I spoke to the manager who said the photo had been there for years and never fell. She said she would be taking it down off the wall. The hinge itself was not even placed on the wall correctly (if I wasn't so distraught - I would have taken a photo) I put my items back as I was so upset I didn't want to buy anything anymore. I got to my car and realized I forgot my change pad. As I went back in to grab it - the manager and a employee were in the room talking about the situation and said "there's no way that could have happened" I grabbed my change pad and was given a dirty look without even a apology.here's the kicker.they placed it back on the wall on the same broken hinge! They moved the change table to another wall though.lol the situation was not handled correctly at all. I am not impressed to say the least.

Title: Disappointed by the Selling Process
I visited Once Upon a Child today to sell some gently used, brand-name clothing items for my kids. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

Despite the clothes being in excellent condition and barely worn, most were turned down. This has not been an isolated incident, as I've had similar experiences with this store.

I can't help but feel there's a level of inconsistency or perhaps discrimination in their buying process. The lack of clear guidelines on what they accept and how they determine the value of items is frustrating.

I believe potential sellers should know this before they decide to do business with Once Upon A Child. It's disheartening to see good-quality items rejected without a clear reason.

In the future, I would hope for more transparency and fairness in their buying process. For now, I am left feeling disappointed and undervalued as a customer. I hope the management takes this seriously and does not just reply with an automated message. I believe that I will never go back to this store as either a customer or seller!

The selection for toddler boys is seriously lacking, and the shoes particularly always seem to be extremely beat up, and hardly and tread left on them.

The girls selection seems to be much larger, but a lot of the items are graphic ts and outdated styles.

I’m not sure who is buying these items to put on sale, but a refresher course is needed… especially when the speech they give you when selling items back is “due to wear and staining we aren’t interested”.

There doesn’t seem to be much consistency with the quality of items on the shelf, you’re much better off going to the GoodWill or Value Village!

Unfortunately we gave this store $90 for free since they wouldn’t take back the BROKEN stroller they sold us yesterday. One day apart and we basically got ripped out. I bet they’ll put it back for sale tonight for $150 again. My husband was so much nicer on his review. I would give them 0 if I could.

Bought a bunch of summer close for my little one and was not sure of sizing as she is between 12 and 18 months. Asked the sale clerk point blank if I could return if the items for my money back as I would like to try them on her. She said yes as long as it is returned in seven days. I went back with in 3 days and am now told store credit only, even after I explained the interaction the sales lady said I don’t know what to tell you it is on the receipt (that I would have gotten after paying for the product and according to her would not have gotten my money back anyway) very disappointed in the lack of care or responsibility taken by the store and it’s disregard for the consumer!

I can't even describe the level of disappointment with this company in particularly this store. We live in the US forgot to bring a stroller for my son four our vacations here in Canada. So I decided to go to Once Upon A Child due to their reputation and availability with baby and toddler products. I ended up buying a $150.00 stroller which was slightly overpriced but didn't complain since it was a great quality one. Unfortunately for us, I didn't realize it was missing a button at the bottom to fold the chair back. Returned to the store the next day to speak to the staff about the stroller and to my surprise, I was told that the company policy is to only give credit back, exchange or buy back at a 40% discount. With not other stroller options at the store and bcause our timeline to return to the United States, I was hoping they would work with us since we literally purchased it the day prior. Lesson quickly learned since they would only offer to buy it back for $64.00 even though they sold me something technically broken. Never again will I set another foot at a Once Upon A Child store ANYWHERE. Be aware of their policies before stepping out of that store.

Very disappointed in them, they use to be a great place to get used clothes and other stuff for your child now they charge way to much for used products that they get for cheap. People will eventually catch on their ripping people off

Nice selection of clothing all ages, shopped there many times. The staff are very helpful. My grand daughter is growing so fast! I signed up for texts and get notified of specials and joined the rewards plan for more savings, very helpful, thanks!

Went to the store at 7pm today. The staff were rolling their eyes, maybe because we brought a big box full of baby clothes. They just took winter suit and some of the branded outfit that I thought they will consider all seasons clothes (that’s what they’re always mention). And also they said some clothes have food stain. Ok I get it. But then why they still don’t take the brand new clothes still with tag on it? Do they really check on the item or just simply reject everything except the branded stuff? I could see many of their clothes not really in a good condition compare with what I brought. Such a disappointment.

This was my first time going into these types of locations.and I brought in 2 large dollars tore bags full of Nike, Jordan, under armer and urban kids stuff that was never worn with the tags still on it.they took all of the brand name pants and tops.and the sweaters that had $40 tags still attached.they called me told me to come in.and only offered me 37$ for what they took.and said the rest was too "wear and tear". Honestly I would like a definition of what "wear and tear" is because my child only wore this stuff once or twice.and grew out of it so fast.i won't be going back. I spent more in gas going back and forth.then I got back from the clothes.
