Once Upon A Child - Brampton

Good place to find clothes for babies but I find the selection to get smaller for older kids. Also, I tried selling some items to them but they didn't accept several items despite there being no rips or stains. Return on selling items is not much.

I needed to write this review for any busy parents out there who value their time. Please go to the Oakville location, or any other location.

I frequently shop at this location and normally I have no complaints. However today unfortunately I had a very horrible experience with a rude store employee who seemed to be extremely annoyed that a customer would dare to enter the store and disturb her? I will not be shopping at this location any more after todays experience. Perhaps store management might consider asking employees to contain their rudeness while at work.

Definitely the worse location to sell too, husband went into the store to sell a BRAND NEW Winnie the Pooh play pen and was told the safety pin is missing, he then showed them that the safety pin is not missing and shown it was attached. They then proceeded to give him reasons upon reasons as to why they cannot perchase the play pen.
They didn’t want to purchase the play pen which is fine BUT do not give attitude and be rude, especially when we weren’t being rude or giving them attitude… seems a little racist to be honest.
Don’t shop at this location.they definitely need to learn some customer service before actually serving others & FYI another location was able to purchase my play pen without any issues…

Been here a few times for selling and buying items and was greeted rudely with cut eye and tension every single time.sigh. I hate to say this but I’m starting to sense racism

Friendly staff and great to support these thrift stores instead throwing away good clothing.

The staff here are always amazing! From helping to shop over the phone or in the store I always have positive experiences and find great things.

They turned down most of my items although in good condition because of the brand. I got 7 dolars and a few cent for a hand full of clothes and shoes that they accepted. I took the lot of what was left to the thrift store. I should have just gone there with everything.

The worst customer service I have received since living in Canada. When I made my purchases they were very kind, but when I needed their help they were the worst. I bought some snow boots which broke in less than a week, when I went to claim with my receipt, they told me "I can't take responsibility because I don't know what they were used for", my friend, wearing shoes is walking with them, it's not like the child has walked 24 hours a day for 5 days, and still they shouldn't break in new shoes. There was no argument that interested them, they only said that they could not receive it if they were not in the condition that we bought them. Who buys shoes to keep them and then change them again? It's stupid. Obviously it was a factory defect, not even explaining that the other two pairs that I bought on the same day did not have that problem, same stupid response: "I can't receive them, I can't be held responsible because I don't know what they were used for and I can't sell them anymore under those conditions", no joke. They do not offer any type of guarantee on new products. I do not leave 0 stars because it is not possible.

The staff are friendly, there is always an amazing variety of clothing and the price is fantastic!

Visited here for the first time to purchase books for our Peel Book Drive for kids & was amazed by the variety of books & great prices. The store was closing soon but the staff made sure to assist with scanning the $200 of books purchased (and gave discount!). Very satisfied with the service & would definitely recommend.

Love how they price the clothes and toys so everyone can afford them very friendly workers

The staff is sooo friendly and helpful. My 1st time there and I found it soo easy to shop for what I was looking for. The selling of clothes was smooth and easy. I will definitely go back
