Came down for the weekend in yorkville for a staycation. Would have to say the service was horrible. The audacity for the staff to feel working in a supposed top notch restaurant that they don't need to actually provide service. The management needs to speak with their servers to make sure they are there to actually provide a service to customers. The food could be better for the price. Went to STK the next day which was fantastic from the service and the food. They need a revamp quick one restaurant quick. I won't go back.

Had a eggplant sandwich and wagyu sliders, honestly the sliders were dry and cold have been cooking with wagyu for years but wagyu never came across dry pause $40 for nothing. The eggplant sandwich was nothing but a beat for $5 sandwich and had welted yellow leaves of arugula stashed up between old and dry bread again this is not what customers deserve for $38.

Amazing restaurant. Great food and ambiance set in a premier location. Perfect for lunch while shopping.

Boston crème donuts may be their best dish. Must have.

Highly over-priced meals. Steak was barely Costco quality. Embarrassingly bad. We took our extended family there for a birthday celebration. Save your money and go elsewhere as there are many restaurants in Toronto that would be more worthy.

Not to be confused with The One dimsum in Richmond Hill or Kitchen One at the One Hotel (my head is spinning already), this restaurant here is one of the best fancy places to eat in Toronto. The price is a bit steep but still rather reasonable, with a very respectable wine selection and quite possibly one of the best truffle mushroom tagliatelle in the city. The service is extremely pleasant and the ambience superb - though it does tend to get a bit loud due to what I think are subpar sound absorption.

The meat cuts here are also superb, with an excellent branzino fish dish that is extremely flavourful and has layers of depth. In the end, I would highly recommend it as either a date place or a spot to take a business associate. It's sophisticated, but still provides decent value for your buck. Not something you can always say about Toronto's fancy hotel restaurants.

Celebrated a friend's wedding here with a prix fixe menu. Located in Yorkville, the restaurant was very posh and the chandelier was especially beautiful!

We could pick our mains and dessert and I picked the fish, which was really delicious. I loved the Spanish/Portuguese flavors and I appreciate how it had been fully deboned. The dessert was also a great palate cleanser with the refreshing flavors of passionfruit and coconut.

The only disappointment was the appetizers. The sliders and finger food felt pretty pedestrian. But fortunately the rest of the experience made up for it.

The food was excellent I would recommend the mac and cheese and truffle fries for sure and our server Yousef was very nice and treated me and my cousins too an amazing time. The food did take time too come I must say and our salad came much later during our meal but too make up for it they gave my cousin a chocolate cake for his birthday on the house which was very generous. Would definitely check it out amazing people and an amazing ambience!

Mediocre food and service with higher price than what you get. Caesar salad is ordinary, same as anywhere you go. Chicken sandwich is basically a bar-level one. Chicken was dry and bacon was over cooked. Bayboat scallop is the most disappointing one. Pork belly was tasteless with some sweet sauce on top. Scallops were fried both sides and not fresh. Coconut Panna Cotta for dessert, same as the main dishes. The first and last try.

Great spot, love the patio. The food was great and I loved the lobster spoons. Definitely recommend this spot.

I went to One last night for dinner with a girlfriend and I'm surprisingly disappointed at my experience since I've been before and I've always enjoyed myself. The food was decent (nothing spectacular about their veal spaghetti nor lobster spoons) but the service was just not it. My friend and I looked at each other confused when we saw an employee at an upscale restaurant walk through a busy 9 pm dinner area with a clear plastic garbage bag full of garbage. We assume he was taking it from the bar area to the back of the restaurant however garbage with dinner is not our forte. What really disappointed me was my server Natasha. She spilled my friend's entire drink all over me (I'm talking a full blown tequila sleeve and lap and I don't drink so I was quite annoyed) and I'm very understanding that things happen by mistake however I don't believe she rectified this in a manner which any other restaurant, let alone One, would have. She apologized and replaced my friend's drink but she knew that wasn't my drink. She could've went the extra step to make sure I was happy since I was sitting there wet and sticky for the remainder of our dinner but nothing was done to satisfy the patron for her mistake. Unfortunate. I was telling my girlfriend before that happened that I wanted to try their brunch but I no longer see that happening.

Where do I start… Food: 10/10 Server: So professional, 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Hostess: 3/10 Go and try the oysters and the Spagetti with the huge meatball right now!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The Wagyu skirt steak and lobster spoons are highly recommended.

Service was absolutely atrocious. I cannot believe I spent hundreds of dollars to receive rude service. The 20% tip tacked on to the bill was undeserved. I usually tip around 25% but I would have tipped nothing - it was THAT bad. We were there for a birthday and frankly, her birthday was completely ruined by the server’s attitude. Our friend was close to tears by the end of the night. For a “fine dining” experience, this establishment is anything but. Will NEVER be returning.

Absolutely top of the class and one of the best fine dining Canadian contemporary restaurant in the downtown area.
Extremely cordial and helpful staff that will guide you through the vivid options (including Vegan) ranging from appetizer to entree to main course and all the way to the desert.

The only area of improvement is the space management which becomes slight challenging in a big group, however taste and experience make it up for it.

Dishes worth trying are Korean Tacos, Tomahawk Ribeye, Truffle Frites, T- bone, buttermilk fried onions.

Plant Based options, top of the section includes Pulled Pork Tostada (Jackfruit),
Mushroom Bolognese and grilled tofu.

Go to this restaurant if you’d like to pay Yorkville prices for bad service and mediocre food. The Cobb salad is better at my local Firkin.

Overpriced for what you get.

It was good as a first experience but overall server was rude he brought my food by mistake and I was shock I haven’t even touched but he refused to change and said he’ll also charge this. Portions are very small

The steak smelled like a bad meat. Also pork in buns was hard and also stinky as well. Can’t believe this is a fine dining restaurant. Street food would be better than this. What a garbage we had. I would give them minus 5 stars. I would not come back here again, even if they paid me.

The service was excellent. The food was ok. We got a few appetizers and shared a salad and pasta. Highlights were the Lobster Spoons, beet salad, oysters, and tagliatelle. The scallops had a bit too much going on and were a miss.

ONE enjoys an excellent location. The interior bar lounge area is splendid, however there were issues with fruit flies in the air and in the drinks during our visit.

The patio is also very pleasant, but the close proximity to the street can be annoying - due to various vehicles revving their engines.

Service was attentive and communicative, and the menu is interesting. Expect high prices, but well within ONE's clientèle.

ONE is by far the best restaurant in downtown T. O.with a variety of exceptional food from lobster spoons, Wagyu sliders, caviar, amazing scallops on a shell and their desserts are out of this world! Plus service is above and beyond…drinks are also awesome and I recommend Casamigo’s tequila which they give 1.5 ounces not like other establishments.
