Subway. They need to train employees in safe food handling. Women wrapping sandwiches has 1 glove on and uses cash and touches food and inside if cups.
Gentleman doing wraps put avocado all over beef then put back in dish.

Want anything to eat after 8pm? Don't stop here only thing open is the Tim's and their selection at this time is minimal at best

The washrooms are also gross

2023-10-12, I took a break here on the way back to Toronto from Perce QC. I had a very good impression

Fairly clean, bahtrooms could be cleaned better. Microwave should be cleaned more, smells awful.wide variety of stores but most close early with the exception of Tim HOrtons which is very busy and has a long line. Good place to bump into friends or to take a break. Nice ice cream vending machine.

Subway restaurant "closed at 7" (posted where?) Even though it was super crowded, they just closed the line. We tried to get in line at 6: 45 and weren't allowed. Asked why, they literally saud "manager's decision. " Exact wording.

So we went over to the Tim Horton's.we ordered 2 sandwiches, a wrap, and a donut. They screwed up one sandwich TWICE (had to make it 3x to get it right) ; the other sandwich was the bacon grilled cheese.they left off the bacon. The wrap was almost all rice.almost no chix, almost no veg. Terrible, inept, chaotic, rude service to boot. So much so I reached to Tim Horton's corporate to gripe.

At least the gas station part went well.

Do not go after 8pm.
Only Tim is opened and they have only some sandwiches, coffee and some donuts.

Tim Hortons on all OnRoute stations should expand their kitchen and employ more people. Almost all OnRoute stations I've stopped and there is always long line

A bit crowded, but they have a much better selection of food and drinks than rest areas in the US (specifically NYS Thruway & MassPike). They even have NA beer!

This Onroute has Starbucks, Tim Hortons, A&W, subway and On market. Starbucks is drive thru and not inside the Onroute building. Canadian Tire gas is here. Maintenance is ok. Closes by 7pm.

IVY chargers: 2/4 are failing to provide ANY charge to multiple vehicles. And when charging… forget about “fast”… it was running well below 70 kW….

Very busy here, but those who are traveling with kids &/or pets, I urge you to check out the picnic area across the parking lot. There are signs near the Starbucks to show where to go (picture of a picnic table and arrow). A HUGE grassy area with plentiful picnic tables. There is a bathroom building on-site, but unfortunately, they were closed when we stopped by today. Will definitely keep this in mind when passing through again. It was nice to have a little picnic while my daughter got to run around safely.

On a long drive like most people are and stopped to get a drink and use the washroom. The toilet sprayed me (A LOT) and i asked an employee if that is normal and she said some do and others don’t. This should really be fixed. When you are on a long drive the last thing you need is to be sprayed be a toilet. Not impressed

Washrooms and salon were really dirty and the place barely had 20 people in. The person who does the cleaning was cleaning the tables with his hand, shaking off the food or crumbs left from the table to the floor and he didn't not wipe or sanitized anything whatsoever. Using his hand instead of a cloth. Disgusting

Absolutely the worst service at tim Hortons. Machines for sugar broke, 10 min wait at counter for dark roast and got it wrong twice. Ppl behind us same thing. Time to retrain and teach some customer service and rude when asked to fix. Canadian business says hire all walks of life well never felt so out of place and like an inconvenience to others for a white person cause there wasn't any even serving.

Women’s bathroom need cleaning and faucets need repair. Staff at Tim’s are nice and we appreciated the RV parking

Shout out to Deepinder at subway who kept talking to his coworkers in Hindi instead of serving the long line and Sukhman at A&W who got my order wrong 3 times u the real ones

The IVY e-vehicle charging station is bad. 2 of the 4 chargers don't work. Of the remaining 2 (both supposed to be high speed) 1 delivers at 43 kwh and the other at 30. What a waste of time. Forced to stay here for a couple of hours when it should have been 20 minutes

I never leave reviews but this on route Probably has the most disgusting bathroom I’ve ever seen. The sink area was absolutely foul. Looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in like a year. Washed my hands and somehow felt dirtier after

If you have an EV do not stop here. The Ivy charging station charges so slowly, we were here for an hour and only got 30% charge.

Subway had no cheese and no service, all the employees were too busy chatting. A&W also had bad service - my order was totally wrong and the soda was flat. When I went over to ask to correct the first sandwich, the cashier Sukhman brought my new sandwich over and with her bare hands opened up the sandwich bun to tell me “look”. So gross and horrible service.

$28 at A&W for two burgers and fries and drinks, it was gross. Fries were cold and dry. Bathrooms were dirty with out of order signs everywhere, toliet paper rolls all over the floor. Ate a few bites of the burger in the car while driving, had to pull over at next stop for a number 2. Don't go there especially not to eat.

Stopped here on the way back from montreal, very overpriced. The workers were very rude and seemed they didn’t want to be there. When the one worker took my order I asked her “hi how are you” she looked at me and ignored me just impolite. Not great service and I do not recommend. Food was ok buns were stale.

The one star is for the bathrooms. Most absolutely disgusting bathrooms I have seen in my life. Didnt even want my shoes in my car after going in there

We just made a pit stop here. Was chatting with the staff and oh my goodness.the staff were exhausted. Apparently 13 buses stopped at this site today and they were not prepared for the enslaught of children passing through. I really hope ONroute wakes up and starts treating their employees with more respect. Give em a raise!

Great locations across 401 express. Time to relax and stretch out during long drives.

Has Atm facilities, market, tim hortons, burger king and various other eateries based on location.

Separate parking spaces for cars, busses. Has fuel options with great prices and convenient stores. Restroom services, family room within the On route locations.

Bathrooms are spic and span. The accessible door buttons work thankfully. The staff are always friendly.

We stop at night at on routes and feel safe resting in our van until morning.

It would be nice if more on routes had food that is gluten free. The ones with burger kings and Wendy’s have gf options. A and W food has always made me sick. They aren’t trained in cross contamination it seems. But no other. A New York fries or m&ms with a microwave for us long distant drivers? GF breakfast offerings for gluten free are absent at all locations. There are vegan choices for a chosen diet but not gluten-free for those of us whose lives depend on it.

A great place to stop, have coffee or grab something to eat while travelling west along the 401. This ONRoute has a Tim Hortons, Subway, Popeyes, A&W, and a Starbucks drive-thru.

Nice, fast and clean, we go through tnese at night. Myself and truck driver boyfriend. He works nights so never issues with crowds or dirt etc. I love stopping by their stores for unique stuff. Large Disney TY beanies can be found here for $12-$15. Tim Hortons here is usually fully stocked with baked goods day and night.

Terrible service inside.waited 15 minutes in line to order food. The 4 staff working have zero sense of urgency.
