A&W order took 24 minutes from the time of payment to food in hand. Only two people was ahead of us and waited just as long. The food handler building burgers wasn't wearing gloves, and when I pointed it out to the cashier, they said they don't have to. There was only one cash register going and yet the staff were consistently confused about what food went with what order. Gross, no sense of urgency or consideration. Absolutely need a restructure in staff.
No matter when you go to this on route everything is always super slow, it is the complete opposite of grabbing something quick on the highway you will be waiting in line for your food or at least 20 minutes as none of the kiosks actually work to pay at and the employees are incompetent
This is the best travel stop to use when driving along the 401 in Southwestern Ontario. The Tilbury stop is too close to Windsor and the Woodstock location reeks during the summer months.
Very disturbed to watch an employee of the burger outlet climb a step ladder, then step on the the deep fryer to replace a filter. For the 15 minutes following this 3 employees walk by this piece of cooking equipment after watching him do this and no one cleaned it.
Well maintained and lively people and it has excellent refreshment facilities but only tim Hortons on Midnight's, personally think they should also provide some sleeping or seperate relaxing area.
Overpowering smell of urine at the entrance where the bathrooms are sort of set the tone for this facility. I was not able to find a single clean table to sit and eat, the bathrooms were marginally clean and it wasn't dark yet but half the tables had their chairs stacked on them.
Rest station was nice, clean. Not very busy at around 10-11 am. Features a Tim Hortons and an A&W. Tim Hortons unfortunately does not participate in Tims Rewards so put away your cards.a&w also has all day burgers if you're the kind of person who craves a cheeseburger for breakfast. A must stop for any road trip.
Good space with only a few merchants. The only place that had a line up was Tim Hortons. Not even the bathroom!
Talking about the bathroom, I can only give opinion on the wemen bathroom which was very clean. I stopped there a couple of times now and everytime the place was nicely clean. Thank you for your great work.
A good spot to stop. They have a couple.of food options and a convenience store for snacks. Most importantly, spacious and clean restrooms. As you would expect the prices are slightly higher than normal for the captive audience.
Staff is great, place is always clean, bathrooms are in pretty good shape. Prices are increased at all the onroutes compared to the fast food locations elsewhere. Expect to pay more for coffee. I guess you're paying for all that glass.
I don't like any of these service plazas on the 401! The bathrooms are usually disgusting and the urine smell us atrocious. The Tim Hortons products aren't the best and they charge more just because they can. These places are best avoided if at all possible, take 15mins and go into the little town.
Consistently a good place to stop. Good selection of restaurants. Easy access from the highway so it can be a quick place to stop. Lots of room in the washroom and it always seems like they're closing one side to clean it - and it's always clean
Pretty good, has an A&W that has the Beyond Meat Burger.washrooms are usually decent, and stocked with 2ply toilet paper, that's a definite plus. I like to use the 3rd stall in, as that one is usually the cleanest, although your experience may differ, but that one has usually been rather nice. The little grocery/snack store is heavily overpriced, or, shall I say laughably over priced. The Tims is OK here, but then again, Tims is really only ever OK at best anywhere you go.
