Ontario Conservatory Of Music

Been with OCOM for years (around 15 years I think). My elder son started when he was so small in their Mississauga branch.warmly remembering teacher, Sharon.then we moved to Brampton.am happy we found their sister branch here and we continued here.my younger son also started. Both enjoyed the classes/ concerts/ CML competitions/ Halloweens etc etc.did their exams. Specially remembering Sergei.retired now but still in our memories. Very knowledgeable and experienced master.my elder son finished the teacher assistant program there and worked there for a bit, now busy with his University studies. But he still practices and is very passionate about this skill he has. Now my younger son is continuing there happily under teacher, Ira. Although Covid took away some time from us, we are back. Keep going OCM. Families need this. Without music life will be unbearable. Thanks a million to Ira

I cannot speak highly enough about the Ontario Conservatory [ my experience at the 284 Queens St East Brampton's location] and the incredible experience my children have had there. As a proud parent of a 12-year-old son who plays the guitar and a 7-year-old daughter who plays the piano, I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of talent and dedication exhibited by the staff.

First and foremost, I must commend Mrs. Ira, my daughter's piano teacher. She is an exceptional educator who possesses a unique ability to connect with children. Her patience and understanding have helped my daughter develop a true passion for playing the piano. Mrs. Ira's teaching style is engaging, creative, and tailored to suit my daughter's individual needs. She goes above and beyond to make each lesson enjoyable while ensuring steady progress. I have witnessed my daughter's skills flourish under Mrs. Ira's guidance, and I am immensely grateful for her expertise.

Equally deserving of praise is Mr. Jacob, my son's guitar teacher. He is an incredibly talented musician who imparts his knowledge with great enthusiasm. Mr. Jacob's passion for the guitar is contagious, and it has inspired my son to strive for excellence in his playing. Not only is he highly skilled, but he also possesses an innate ability to connect with his students. He understands the unique challenges that come with teaching children and adapts his teaching methods accordingly. My son has grown leaps and bounds under Mr. Jacob's tutelage, and his progress has been remarkable.

The Ontario Conservatory as a whole fosters an environment that is conducive to learning and growth. The facilities are well-maintained, providing a comfortable and welcoming space for students. The administrative staff is friendly, organized, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or scheduling needs.

Overall, I am beyond pleased with the education my children have received at the Ontario Conservatory. The talent, expertise, and dedication of Mrs. Ira and Mr. Jacob have played a pivotal role in nurturing their musical abilities. Our son has been attending piano classes at Brampton West location for 5 years and we are extremely happy with the quality and dedication of staff there. Ira is the very experienced and dedicated teacher, never hesitated to devote her extra time before exams etc. Other teachers are also very experienced and dedicated, and the customer service receptionist is very nice and courteous. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a quality music education for their children.

I'm a woman of golden years and wanted to audition for a musical that's on my bucket list. I went to Ms. Ira and she helped me through this event, got my confidence, and she also made me realize things I could do when it came to singing! She's a brilliant and excellent teacher, and the school is where I should have gone to take vocal lessons a long time ago. THIS IS THE SCHOOL I would recommend to anyone.
I have my little boys taking piano lessons from Matthew, who's also a good teacher and very patient with my boys, who are quite a handful.

Highly recommend this place for piano lessons. My son has learned so much and has enjoyed learning to play the piano. His instructor Ms. Ira is passionate and caring and goes above and beyond to ensure students learn.

Our daughter has been going to OCOM since almost one and half year…. We are very happy with her piano classes and the way she has been learning and improving. She is being guided very well and there is a lot of focus to help grow every kid based on their interest and ability. Very very happy with Ira specially…she has been a magic touch for our daughter’s piano playing…so much so that my daughter not only plays what she is taught but she likes making music on her piano…

The instructors are very child friendly. They are also very knowledgeable and clarify doubts for the parents during business hours on any given day. I love the structured curriculum that is being taught and best of all, my kid loves going back every week. They are also flexible with the make-up classes and cater to the kids/parents need when possible.

Ms. Irea is my daughter's piano and vocal teacher and the level of care, attention and focus she provides is second to none. Ms. Irea exudes the quality and tact you want from a teacher and she truly loves what she does. It shows in every moment she spends with her students and she always does it with a smile on her face. Ms. Irea is also so encouraging and carries herself with strong confidence an pride. These are also characteristics she instills in her students.

My child has been going to OCOM for 9 months now. In this span of time, he has acquired the ability to identify piano notes and successfully learn to play some tunes. The instructor Ira is dedicated and ensures their students not only learn how to play an instrument but also enjoy their time while learning. The best part about this academy is that they take the time to ensure your child understands the music concepts.

Our daughter was learning piano at OCOM Brampton West Studio since 2018. After couple years Mrs. Ira came into play and the studio changed alot, the change that we are looking for. It become more of a Learning Studio rather than a business type of Studio. My daughter had a different kind of learning experience since Mrs. Ira started teaching her. Mrs. Ira is a great teacher and mentor to all her students. She is very dedicated, disciplined and has a lot of patience in helping all her students to be the very best they can be. She has an effective practice habits, coach her students on excellent technique and plan successful lessons. Her class is well balanced with learning and at the same time having fun. My daughter is always eager to attend her classes with Mrs. Ira.
