Need to be early and dont drive cause the line to get inside the Science center itself is long unless you will come early.

Our experience at the Ontario Science Center with four kids was nothing short of phenomenal! The center's interactive exhibits and engaging displays captivated the children's curiosity, turning learning into an exciting adventure.

The variety of hands-on activities catered to different age groups, ensuring each child found something fascinating. From exploring physics concepts to interactive biology exhibits, the Science Center made education enjoyable for kids of all ages.

The staff's enthusiasm and willingness to assist with explanations added to the overall positive experience. It was not just a day of learning but a fun-filled exploration that left a lasting impression on the kids.

The highlight for our group was the IMAX film, a captivating visual experience that complemented the day's educational activities perfectly. The Ontario Science Center is a haven for families, providing an enriching blend of education and entertainment. Highly recommend for an inspiring and interactive day out with kids!

Don't buy membership, it gets boring after 1-2 visits.

Do not go. I was deeply saddened how poor my experience was. Get there and wait like 30 minutes or more to get admission. 2 staff members moving at a glacial pace. They were nice just really slow. Then the bridge is closed and we have to take shuttle services. The worst parts were the exhibits themselves. Old, tired, lack of funding and imagination left much to be desired. There weren’t enough sanitizing stations to clean one’s hands and several people touch all the “interactive” exhibits. Everything felt frozen in time from the 80s. This place needs a huge investment.

Honest review time - 2023! Ontario Science centre has seen better days.: (12$ for parking, and then due to construction on that day, the "bridge" was out, so you have to pay for tickets at the front (which we later found out you can pay at the back) - which is where they "shuttle" everyone to via short busses that day. The fee is modest - fair for what's being provided. Overall, our kids had a BLAST - it's very kid oriented - and for sure, kids will learn and absorb it ALL. Do they actually learn a lot? Probably.at least my kid was impressed. But for most adults, if you REALLY look into the exhibits - outside of the kids "activity" areas.you would realize these are "matter of fact" - and not so much "learn" what you already know about the world and "science" (which isn't a lot of science - you'll see if you go and visit - only to be "disappointed" - based on what you may / may not already know about the world and "sciences" they're trying to teach). So - honestly, it may be impressive to kids - but it's definitely not impressive when you're the parent.now I know how my parents felt when they took us when we were kids.:) The exhibits definitely seen better days - abused by this generation of kids that aren't very gentle. Where did the morse code machine go? Where did the super computron unit go? Where did the all the cool exhibits go? The dinosaurs in motion was actually very.upsetting. Metal bones is just not "as cool". But then again, they are rigged to move. But the controls are kind of busted / abused by the kids that operated them. We saw one kid LOUDLY (almost break) the displays.clearly they can't read "be gentle". Either way, fun activity - the kids will love it, while the adults will probably be too busy checking their phones. Also - the parts where water is being touched / shared in those play areas - no wonder people are getting sick again.

The kids can spend the whole day there. We spend 3 hrs not having enough time to visit everything. Love the kidspark in the museum.

It was my first visit to this this amazing informative place. I it. Definitely recommend for all ages. Will be back

Good place to visit with kids. They have ample parking. It is difficult to cover the whole place in 1 day if your kid is small.

Specifically went to see Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen talk about his upcoming Artemis II mission and it was great. It was all very organised and fair in terms of entry. Also had a good chance to explore the centre afterwards, with lots of interactive displays. Renovations being done so had to get shuttled to the exhibits. A bigger gift shop would have been great.

For those of us from Mexico it is as if it were a type of Universum, dedicated to true and natural sciences, I think it will be more worth it for the children

Always an amazing place to visit. We have brought all three of our kids here multiple times, and they always have learnt something new.

Ongoing renovations - best to purchase your tickets online, get there and hop onto the shuttle bus which will take you to the back entrance.

I visited for the first time, my 4 year old boy loved it. The metal dinosaur exhibit was amazing. For sure I will be back in the future.

One of the tree exhibits just keeps repeating a really annoying noise and distracts from what's surrounding it in the redwood section

1. The science of hearing loss. Imax theatre way too loud for childrens ears and annoying seam can be seen on screen.
2. The science of air pollution. Annoying to have to take an air polluting shuttle to get to the main science centre once you're at the science centre. Why can't they at least use a non-polluting Vehicle.
3. The science of artery clogging. Mostly junk food being served to children in the form of pizza, donuts and burgers and fries as well as chicken nuggets. Sodas and sugar drinks as well. There's virtually nothing healthy to eat. The science centre needs to learn about saturated fats and AGEs.overall this place is dated and needs a complete overhaul for most exhibits.parking is terrible at peak hours.

A great place for kids and adults. We went to learn about the human body. It was educational fun and interactive. Can't wait to visit again

If you plan to go and are not a member make sure you go for the full hours open due to the shuttle service. Definitely if you want to do imax plus the exhibition as you will need extra time. You can walk but it’s a big hill going back to the main building. The line was long for tickets since the online ticket purchase wasn’t working. We were able to get through everything during the 3 hours we had not doing the imax and not including the shuttle. Kids area was for 8 and under so perfect for kids in this age group. Kids older who have not been I would say would have fun but not so much for multi visits. It’s pretty old they definitely need new exhibits and an area for ages 9-14 similar to the kids spark but with age appropriate activities. Won’t be back for while but do recommend for first timers or people with young children.

The children have a great time, there are very interesting things, the only detail is that for Hispanics there is no option to see descriptions in Spanish, everything is in English and French.

Not every attraction is really that much interesting, only a few, but let’s be honest, it’s a place very pointed towards kids. So I suggest you bring kids and let them have a world of fun, instead of going with other adults
