Ontario Security Training

Its not bad, its easy to understand with the price breakdown, etc.
I am giving this a 4 star instead of the usual 5 or 1 stars you might see because for some reason it is taking me a longer time to get an interview, I did apply to quite a few companies and to a job posting, at least 4-5 within a day or couple days. This is my only issue I am having, the job guarantee doesn't entirely feel as if it really is a full guarantee since I have been waiting over 2 weeks which is the minimum for the job companies to apparently call me, thats what I have been told. I haven't gotten a call AFAIK, I could be wrong and I might have but just didn't answer it. Getting the license number and gearing up to take the License Exam was easy enough, though getting the job is quite hard and annoying as you are just applying and waiting, while praying to God that they call you and so forth.

Not a bad service overall, just takes way too long to get some call from a job company when you have applied to quite a few.

It’s so frustrating speaking to people that BARELY understand English. You’ll repeat the same thing a 284774 times and they still don’t understand…and than when you get frustrated YOUR the problem it’s ridiculous. I called asking about job opportunities. The guy said I have to put my renewed license online. The email for that is not being used anymore I told him that he said I have to come to the office to change the email. Ok fine. Than I asked can I just make a new profile instead he wasn’t understanding…I said it in different ways I said it a million times. No one could understand. And this is not the first time I’ve had a problem with them not understanding or them not communicating properly …. I understand everyone needs a opportunity to work. But y’all can’t be putting people that barely no English for these type of jobs. It’s beyond FRUSTRATING and don’t make no damn sence. Than he tried to call me back and get bright Lool as if I won’t give him the talk of his life. Yea! I hung up the phone because you guys are clearly not understanding me and I’m tired of talking. Like holy it’s so annoying. That’s why I don’t call.

Worst worst worst! Please don’t get yourself involve here. I lost all my money for BST! This institution is a fraud.

I got my security guard training and obtained security guard license from Ontario Security training. I got hired within a 2 weeks by Maple security training I got my shift immediately I got hired. Very helpful people loved to be a part of your company.

I recently enrolled in the Ontario Security Training BST course and paid $259.83. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. When I had questions on how to proceed with the course, the staff blocked me and refused to help.
To make matters worse, they did not even allow me to complete the course. The final straw was when I called they said to stay away from the place.
The staff clearly needs training on customer service as their behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this training center to anyone.
Overall, my experience was a complete waste of time and money. It is unfortunate that I was unable to complete the course, especially after investing so much money into it.

I strongly advise against taking the security training with Ontario security training. Their staff and management have no sense of ethics or respect, and will not hesitate to harm your situation and report you carelessly to the security license issuer.
It's a shame that such unprofessional behavior is tolerated in the industry. I wouldn't trust this company with a penny, let alone my personal information or career prospects.
Avoid at all costs, unless you want to deal with unethical and unscrupulous individuals. It's truly disappointing that businesses like this still exist.

This Company staffs are so rude and recist. Specially in 1370 BirchMount Road Branch office, there is a Bald headed man at training desk. This white guy is so recist. Do not come to this training centre, they do not count a human and make your life hell. They need to learn customer service first before starting security business.

Provided no service and took $1000. To respond to the owner, I paid approximately $1000 and was promised an in person course. I now have no refund or license. I attached a screenshot. Contrary to what the owner will tell you, this is a legitimate complaint and I have registered a complaint with the BBB regarding this company.

They have the worst website ever made. You're gonna go through hell just to finish the required training hours. "Employment guaranteed" is true but it's a minimum wage job. Look for another place to complete your training.

Please stay away from this place if you value your money. They will threaten you if you don't give them 5 star reviews and remove the access to their online account which we have already paid the money for. They said I am unprofessional because I gave them 3 star review instead for 5 stars. Please don't go there for training. 5 star reviews are from students who are afraid that they might not get any reference or future support from them. Most of the people studying there are international students (including me) who just want to land some part time job and are not aware of their rights.so it's easy to threaten them and get 5 star reviews. All the reviews here are fake. And if you check any 1 star reviews here.you can see the owner/ employee of the company would be replying here in very unprofessional way with all the lies.

And if they reply to this review saying that I am fake or I didn't complete training there, I am ready to post my training completion number and images of email communication to prove that I studied there.

Very professional, detailed, cooperative company where you can learn / upgrade your skills in security/investigative industry along with a well-descriptive CPR training. Thumbs up!

It is good place to do training and getting license. Moreover, staff is very helpful especially the manager Hitesh. He helps everyone right from start that is applying license and getting the job.

Poor customer services. Request all students not to go to them, Insted go to some other security services. The customer service do not have etiquette to talk.

Towards International students, there intentions is only to grab your money.so be aware of this hidden agenda and think twice before you there.they are waiting for a reason to screw you badly. That may be a conversation with them, or may be late in the CPR class after break, may be if you disagree to put a review infront of them. Go there as a slave to obey their orders. Shut ur mouth.then may be you will get certificates and job, not sure.

Hitesh is one of the security supervisor who established a well professional environment with his strict demeanor. Personally one of the best supervisors I ever had!

I've gotten my license here many years (7) ago but that never stops them from helping me with renewal and job search. The young man working there is by far the most helpful reception / customer service worker ive every had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you Hitesh! Keep up the amazing service buddy.

They put up on their website that they are NOW HIRING, but once you pass the final exam, and get your license, they tell you that they will call you once they find available job positions. So don't depend on them, go apply else where.don't depend on this place to find you a job after becoming certified.false claims. They should not say they are NOW HIRING on the ontario security training website.

Rude, Stupid and Cheap Instructor/boss/team. They are very rude, instructors have no manners/Etiquette, they don't know how to speak, how to respond, how to deal with students. I will never recommend this to any one, try other security training centers. They lack Etiquette. It looks, Their reviews are mostly fake and mostly they request others to review them in front of them

Now the agency is blackmailing me by blocking my certificate and online account. Cheap tactics. Illegal and against ethics and norms of disciplined society

This is the worst security tanning services in Ontario based on my experience. When I came to Toronto as a permanent resident in 2010 I found this company close to my residence. I went there after four days of my landing and met one of the staff name, Ron Map (Maybe). I have been asked whether I have any ID. I told him, I have only bank card. He requested me to give him and then he took $500.00 for security training from my account. I didn't know anything at that time as a newcomer. I have given some paper to sign. I signed. The following day, I went their office and requested to return my money, because I learned from others that the training fee is only $200.00. They didn't refund my money. I left from their office. (Still I have all the documents)
After one year I have got a job as an outreach worker in a settlement services. I had the opportunity to meet a large number of newcomers. I told so many not to go this company and shared my story. Now I am the career specialist in one of the Employment Ontario service providers. I never refer my client or anybody to go there. They can make at least $5000.00 by my referral for the last few years. Only for their fraudulent activities they are loosing the money I think. I will continue to aware my clients, community member and will post social media not to go there. I hope this review will help those are interested to take security training.

The training is decent although sometimes vague. Some of the employees are also unprofessional and pushy for money. Overall though it's a scam, the "job guarantee" is absolute nonsense. They will set you up with interviews once in a while just to make it look legit but those jobs all require previous work experience.

Once they have your money then you're treated like a burden/nuisance and they will try and push blame on you and make excuses for not providing employment.

Unless you already have a security job set up or know people beforehand that can provide you employment then I'd say avoid. Don't waste your time and money, the job guarantee is a scam and nothing is guaranteed.

Bad company owner only wants to steal money, also no professionalism towards finding placement. Rude and gesture making people. As someone from their placement site HIGHLY avoid this company. Also if anyone says this is not a real review I can say it certainly is real as I can provide sufficient screenshots receiving emails from ontario security training about their unprofessional behavior towards customers.

This is a phenomenal orginization. Thanks to them i will be able to pursue a life long dream. The material is very user friendly and there is always help when needed. Kevin was a huge help to me as well. I highly reccomend OST

Provide a very useful preparation material and half of the ministry test contains the same question as they were in the mock tests available on their portal

I used to recommend them but not any more the management is changcha new people took over don't go for your training can't help you with your job and you have to pay for CPR and first Aid training
