It was such a relaxing experience going through this new stage in life and my hair journey. My hair was damaged and falling out in the middle, so I decided to cut it off. Triston at Onyx Barbers was such a blessing. He saved some of the hair at the front and had such positive vibes and creativity. Thank you for the boost in confidence and the design. Blessings.

I’ve gotten haircuts from several different barbers there and I always end up lookin fresh. Its a very wholesome barbershop and I always feel very welcomed by the staff whenever I go there. Ive been to many different barbershops in many different countries and ONYX is faaar superior. Would trust them with my hair any day. Put some friends on it and they told me they got some of the best haircuts from there. The only downside could be the wait time but its defo worth it.

Great cuts, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Ticks all the boxes. I was a walk-in so the wait was a bit long but it was all worth it. They even gave out free patties in the evening? Shoutout to Germaine for having the energy even in the late evenings.

Great hotel with experience staff I came here my first time cause I'm a Snapchat spotlight video creator so I decided to book for a night so I bring my Boi with me for us to chill and go to the club after he started annoying every women he saw so they wanted to kick us out but I'm the host so I tell him to leave cause the manager allows me to stay without any complete documents that really make me happy cause I needed that night for myself and I can't let anybody ruined that for me I think about the future I might come there again I'm trying to build relationships with the company that's how I live my life I don't want to be stopped when I get there and my night was great I had a great time I'm just saying this to all young fellas if you're a good person don't allows friends to give you bad reputation that's not good and the security call me and say I'm always welcome to come back that's how you live your life stay away from bad friends peace

Great shop in the downtown core. Atmosphere is good. Staff is the best, professional and cleanly, shoutout Ingremar and DJ Sori XD. You gonna walk out here feeling like a million dollars for sure.

It’s a big shop with lots of barbers, book ahead for the barber you want or risk it and join the waitlist. I’ve not been disappointed with the cuts, they’ve got a great vibe in the shop too.

I usually get my hair cut by Ingermar; she consistently does a great job maintaining my waves and always goes above and beyond to ensure I come out looking clean. I definitely recommend you get your hair cut here.

This has to be one of the most poorly run business's in the city.lack of organization, poor customer service, irrational pricing. Honest to god, the only rationale for going here is the fact that if you're black you need a black barber, it's essentially a very poorly run monopoly.

I’ve always had a good experience at Onyx but I was never quite as overjoyed as I was today. Truman is a professional! He is focused and I can tell a bit of a perfectionist in a way that leaves you confident. Especially when you keep dozing off in the chair because you’re so tired!
He’s relaxing and funny, and I’m just very, very happy. With this cut.
Told him I’d found my barber in this city. Finally.

Came a bit earlier for my appointment and they were able to accommodate me. Truman is hilarious; I laughed all through and he was able to give me the style and design that I wanted. Will definitely be returning. Worth the 1hr drive down

Clean barbershop with experienced barbers. My last cut was with Chef. He gave me a clean fade and I was thoroughly impressed. You could really tell he cared about his craft. My only gripe is that he was a bit rough with the clippers. I had some scars the next day along the sides of my head.

I was referred to this shop.had good expectations but my haircut felt it was rushed and it seemed the guy just really wanted me out of his chair asap.

I've been coming here since probably more than 1 year ago to see Truman Phillips. Hands down best barber in town. Amazing attitude, always excellent mood and he's the most professional barber you can imagine.

The barbers are efficient and do an excellent job. Set up an account on their website so that you can register for the wait list and receive a text of when you should arrive. It's the smart thing to do especially if you don't have time to kill. Or just pop over and watch sports and chill.

I am never going back here again I am going back to my original barbers, the first time I came here I told the man not to touch my moustache and leave it thick just fix the side he still lowered it down and did it leave it, second time I coincidently got matched with the same guy and I told
Him again don’t touch it and he still did, customers are always first when it comes to hair cutting when I told you leave it thick u leave it don’t touch it worst experience ever

I love this barber shop every time I go the waiting list is very organized and on Tuesdays you get an amazing price and if you wait patiently you will get a fresh haircut.

Can’t remember the dude’s name who cut my hair but he did a very fine job. Of course I left a good tip, but I also nearly sent him a thank you card, it was that good.

Even on a busy day like Tuesday with their $7 haircuts, they never seize to amaze me with the way they engage with clients and the attention to detail with the haircuts

$10 "appointment fee"; and just to be clear this is a fee they charge you for simply having an appoint.
Go somewhere more professional.

Onyx barbers are terrible, was seating right in front of them, when they called my name which I answered to.just for them to take off my name from the system and let me wait an extra hour.

Great barbers with years of experience, very professional, friendly and they cut you hair the way you want.

Been here 3 times & 3rd time wasn't the charm.
Was specifically told by the receptionist that I shouldn't put my name down on the waitlist online, in advance, cos I will be struck off if I'm not in the shop when he calls out my name.

I was probably 9th-10th on the waitlist with folks ahead of me when I arrived at the shop.
So I'd have to wait a bit anyway, which is not a problem at all.

Don't blame me for wanting to save SOME time using a service that is available online, on your website.

I went to Onyx for my first time. It is super clean (5 stars), A/C was blowing hard (5 stars). Wait time was less than 20 mins (5 stars). Professional and clean barbers (5 stars) You definitely won't get the local barbershop/guy selling DVDs/Socks etc. My hair cut was okay too. I was slightly disappointed by the line up. I typically like my barber to use a blade to make it sharp. I will be returning for sure!

Please do not waste your time here. I ended up waiting for 5 hours walk-in today and watched people who booked by appointment wait an hour. They are clearly booking beyond their capacity. I am disappointed that they have declined in service over the 6 years that I have trusted them.

This is the best haircut salon in whole Toronto, their stylists are damn damn damn good, I would recommend everyone to go there

Worst experience! Wasted $30 on a cut. I went to Boyds Barbershop the next day to fix it and they say whoever did this to me is dumb

Come here from time to time, I usually go to Da Shop and get 5 star service from willpicasso, but I chose here 1. Parking is not free in the area had to pay 20$ 2. I waited over an hour for a cut 3. I get skipped twice, never coming back Will Picasso @ Da Shop In Brampton blows these guys out the water he treats customers all the same!
