Depending on who you speak with, this location's customer service can be inconsistent. The majority of the employees here are time wasters. I needed the radio code for my car the other day, and David immediately said, "No, we don't have access to that. " I told him that I had received the code without any problems just last week from someone at the same location, but I forgot to write down the number, I called from my office phone at that time…. Fortunately my cell phone records all incoming and outgoing calls, I will be saving this call, so I will be able to call his manager and have them listen to the call. Nevertheless, David is a dishonest waste man who has no ability to provide customer service.

I called another Honda dealer right away, and was given the code without any issues.

I came to openroad honda last year for an oil change and they asked me if I wanted a new engine filter, I told them not to change it. The next day when I checked my car I found a broken screw, when I came back to complain they said they have to order parts.they took two weeks to change that screw.last month I had a problem with my stereo system and while fixing it they blew up so many fuses and bulbs and plugs in the car.when I came to show them they refused to accept that and after some argument they fixed it. I would never go back to this place, i would say do not buy Honda vehicles, this is my last car with honda.to many things i could say. I am stuck with a 7 year warranty and honestly it is a scam if you are purchasing a car do not fall into the warranty it is absolutely useless.

Worst experience at the dealership. Their salesman Mehta was absolutely clueless about the car and downright condescending and rude. He was openly calling his customers thieves as he was trying to justify asking for potential customer's credit card details for a test drive. Avoid this scam dealership at all costs

Scammmer! Unprofessional! DONT GO THERE!

They are scammers. I went to their dealreship for lease buyout. Their dealership is full of scammers.
They intentionally changed the brakes and chargerd me 1450$ even though brakes were ok. My car had only 30000Km very well maintained. There was absolutely no issue with the brakes.
They simply told me if I do t get repairs done they wouldn't pass safety and I am not even allowed to get safety done from any other car dealership. It's the perfect opportunity for them to make money.
Their lead Amit Sharma (ricky) would do his best to rip you off. I went to their Service manager Navid with my complaint. His response se was we didn't ask you to come to this dealership.

I guess they should have told me this when I first purchased vehicle from them.

I even tried to get in touch with General Manager Tak but no luck on that.

My recommendations, never lease a vehicle from them because they will give you a hard time during buyout.
This place is full of unprofessional.

Michael Roman & his team at Open Road Honda are amazing! We purchased our 2nd vehicle from this dealership, used 2018 Honda Civic 2 weeks ago and the process was fast, smooth and easy.

After 1 week of picking up the vehicle, we noticed a noise while driving the vehicle. We immediately raise the issue with our sales rep Michael.

Long story short, Navid (service mgr) & Ricky Sharma came to the rescue. Thank you service team for the prompt action & getting this 2018 Honda Civic serviced.

Just been ripped off by service department! Went in with a working passenger mirror to just replace the broken glass. Was told later that the mechanic said the electronics behind the mirror broke when replacing the glass (the electronics which were working fine when I drove in). I was initially told it would cost $40 and now they are saying it will cost $750 to fix the electronics that were working in the first place, but don’t work now. This is now a cost I have to cover.

I approached open road Honda for purchase of Honda Passport Touring 2021 because my new Honda CRV touring was stolen from my drive way.
So I want to protect my new car
Accordingly, I asked for anti theft protection from open road honda and I was told by the sales person that they included the anti theft in my lease package.
But when I scrutinized my lease agreement it shows Platinum Security and no one in the show room able to explain me what benefits are available to the customer under this product.
Then I approached Honda.ca customer service and they told me there is no such product called Platinum Security with Honda and they sell only anti theft protection.
My repeated emails to the sales manager of Open road honda are not replied explaining what benefits are available to customer under their own product Platinum Security.
My overall experience with Open Road Honda Dealership at Maritime Blvd is unsatisfactory.

I went in there for a repair and the service advisor Mr. Imran was really nice and professional. He and the technician Vic did all the needful and a perfect job. I am really happy with my experience and I was amazed when he they understood what's wrong by just taking a look at it. This shows how good they are. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and this dealership will be my all time favorite.

Going into my first car purchase, I was nervous and had a million questions. Bobby R was our sales rep and he is a god send. He got to know my needs and wants, answered every single one of my questions, and took the time to show the many features of the car. It can be scary going into a dealership because you never know what you’re going to get, but Bobby was knowledgeable and transparent throughout the entire process. An awful experience yet again. This is absolutely disgusting and proves that car salesmen are all the sleaziest and most dishonest people out there. They dont see you as a person or your hardworking dollars.they only see money and an opportunity to bank on it. First experience was back in 2018 while leasing a vehicle with Doug. He failed to provide the car on the agreed date twice. After many back and forth encounters with the GM, I was given a credit. Second experience was even worse. This occured with Anil this week. He got caught lying to me about the credit (saying it didnt exist), failed to prep us in the car leasing process (so many hurdles came along the road all as a result of him not doing his job properly.onus is on the client apparently) and could not provide the car on the date of pickup due to an error with the transfer of ownership that had nothing to do with me. I arrived for a smooth pickup with two young babies only to be told after waiting over an hour that the car wont be available today. Absolutely disgusting. Will never make the mistake to come here again.

I bought new Honda Accord 2020 in March 2020, but from May 2020 car dashboard started making weird noises. I took Car to company many times but they couldn’t find the issue. This is September 2021 and car is having same issue. Very disappointed. Never gonna buy from honda again. Not recommended at all.

I purchased my car here a few years ago (2018), back when It was still Family Honda. Such a shame for the name change, as I found Family Honda to be a fitting name. The service here is amazing! The gentlemen who sold me my car (Colombian fellow) was so nice and attentive, super easy to talk to and a fair negotiator.

Going for a test drive was no hastle! I had walked in to see the car, was able to drive it, and a few hours later was steps away from formally purchasing the car.

While I have not been back to the dealership (pretty far from where I live), the service and experience was so memorable that I would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a new/used Honda

Goldy is an extremely professional sales person with tons of experience in the field. His patience is worth mentioning. Once before, i had to quit the deal on the pick up day due to some unexpected reasons. I called Goldy expecting a negative response. But to my surprise Goldy with his masterpiece patience listened to me and told it was fine, that he understood my situation. I was beyond surprise and so i came back this time for a new car and bought a brand new Pilot Toring. I will always be grateful to him and recommended him to anyone.

I went to Family Honda for Engine Oil change today, March 3,2021. When I reached home and double checked the oil life, it showed me "Oil Life 60%". When I called the Family Honda representative, he informed that "technician was overburdened and was working on 3 or 4 cars at a time and therefore he forgot". No idea if technician forgot to change engine oil of my car and still Family Honda charged me "full", or he forgot to fix the screen which says Oil Life 60%.

It was not at all good experience. I traded my 2019 honda civic touring with 2020 honda crv. No ribbons, no flowers, nothing. They just casually handed over the car, nothing special. I had to request the sales representative to have a picture with me with the new car. But the only star for Goldie who answered my phone call and agreed to have car cleaned. 1 star only for Goldie. Rest OpenRoad Honda is awfully rubbish.

Not happy with honda after sales support. My android auto not work properly (the arrow in odometer quite helpful extended navigation feature and I used to it) and I go to performance Honda and family honda both are unable to solve the problem and just say we will contact you when we have solution and I call honda canada also even they are just like that only. Making my mind to switch to other car companies. Otherwise I'm a biggest fan of honda.

Last week we purchased our SECOND car, a Honda Accord, from Family Honda in Brampton and I wanted to share the great experience we had with dealing with Maqsood (Max) Gill at the Dealership.
In fact the main reason for us going to Family Honda was Max. Two year ago we were looking to buy a car and we visited a number of dealerships in GTA but were not satisfied with them. Then we visited Family Honda and for the first time meet Max. When our family entered the dealership, we were meet by a smiling Gentleman, called Max and he inquired if he can be of help to us. Being wary of all the sales people we have meet at previous dealerships we had our doubts.
But Max proved to be totally different. He never forced to sell us anything, he walked us through the process and eventually we decided to buy our very first Honda, a Civic, from Family Honda. We were very impressed with his professionalism, honesty and knowledge about the Honda vehicles. That experience left a lasting image with all of us.
This time around, we never visited any other dealership and just called Max and asked when we can come. Max accommodated the time to our convenience and once again we found him smiling even though it was a miserable rainy evening and we were little bit late. We were interested in buying a 2018 Accord basic trim, keeping in view our budget. Max found a vehicle for us and give us a price which we liked without any haggling, but we were not sure on the available colour. So it seemed at that point that there will be no sale. Max did not pressure us in accepting the car but did provide us an alternative option, even though it was costlier. He worked with us and eventually we decided to buy the 2019 Accord based on Max analysis as he worked out a very good deal for us being a returning customer.
All this took a lot of time, but during all this time he was very pleasant and we never felt that he was trying to pressure us in making a decision, he explained in detail the various features in different models and worked with us to make a decision. He was never like a typical salesperson out to make a quick sale and we trusted his advice and accepted the same.
On delivery date Max was again there to take care of everything and introduced us to a Paisley Lavega, the delivery Specialist. Paisley is a wonderful lady with vast knowledge about the Honda vehicles, she walked us through the sale documents and then showed and explained all the features of our new Honda. She was very professional, courteous and helpful.
We are really pleased with our experience at Family Honda and would recommend Max and Paisley to all our family and friends.

In late September I drove 4h to Family Honda to purchase a new vehicle and trade in my car. In discussions prior to my arrival it was confirmed that I would need my plates back in order to return them to MTO for a refund as I would be getting new ones for this vehicle. When I left Family Honda my plates were provided to me, however not the portion of the ownership that I needed to return them. As I have never had to do this, I was not aware I needed this portion of my ownership. When I attempted to return my plates 2 days later, I discovered that I could not do so without the plated portion of the ownership. I contacted Family Honda that day and asked that they mail it to me. They assured me it would go out in that day's mail. By October 14 I had not received anything in the mail (this is prior to Canada Post Strike). I again contacted Family Honda about this, they assured me it was mailed out no later than September 25/18. Each month that goes by I lose my refund on these plates. On October 14,2018 I again emailed the sales manager and my sales associate about this issue and received no response. On October 18, I went to MOT and purchased a new plated portion of my ownership in order to return my plates. That night when I arrived home, I rec'd my ownership in the mail - dated October 15/18. It was not mailed out in September as they had said repeatedly. It was only mailed out on October 15, the day after I emailed the sales manager and my sales associate. Had anyone communicated to me that it was an oversight and it was now being mailed out, I would not have gone to MTO and paid money to purchase something that had been sitting in their offices this whole time. I then contacted these people asking for a refund of $47 – the amount of money I paid for the ownership + 1 month of plates. After several emails, my sales associate stated that her manager agreed to mail me a cheque – that was October 24,2018. I have not received any form of reimbursement. While it’s a small amount, it’s the principal of the matter. It’s poor customer service to agree to do something and then not follow through. I sent one last email to my sales associate on December 3,2018 advising her I had not received any form of reimbursement and have never received a response. I was very much hoping that Family Honda would resolve this issue, however it would appear this is not going to happen.

I just want to thank Maqsood (Max) Gill for really helping me out during, and after my purchase of a brand new 2018 HRV. He really went above and beyond to ensure all of my questions were answered and helped facilitate a smooth transaction. It doesn't end there, even months after my purchase he made sure I was enjoying my HRV- I was having some issues with the wheel-lock key and Max went out of his way to ensure that the issue was resolved. If I have to buy another Honda, I definitely know who I will be buying from. This dealership and its staff do an excellent job promoting a Family like environment. Thank you for all the help.
