Highly recommend buying glasses here, took about 10 minutes or so to get mine, but i had my prescription ready.and highly recommended if ur looking for a place to fix your glasses. 10/10 i love this place!

Went in for sunglasses repair. They fixed it on the spot and refused to charge anything. Amazing!

I brought in two pairs of sunglasses that needed to be repaired. One pair the lens came out of the frame. The other pair had a nose pad that had broken off. Both sunglasses were repaired within a few minutes. I was only charged for the nose pad parts. Very friendly and helpful. Great service!

Flying from Vancouver to Ottawa for Christmas but unfortunately our luggage was delayed due to the craziness of the weather this year. Found this glass store close by and they offered me 4 boxes of contact lens samples for free. I am amazed by their kindness and willingness to help out! The owner is a very professional optician with amazing care for his business and customers. Greatly appreciate it!

Hidden gem in the Glebe! Walker did an incredible job salvaging a pair of broken frames for an Alzheimer’s patient while Bruce found a long term solution for us. Fantastic team and customer experience!

Great service. The frame selection is very nice. The staff added nose pads on acetate frames to adjust them to my jose, free of charge.

A huge shout out to the Bruce Tobin at Optical Excellence at 779 Bank St. My glasses broke when on vacation in Ottawa. Not only did he install a new arm on my glasses, repaired them on the spot for no charge. I would have gladly paid for the repair but he would not accept payment.
Their inventory was very interesting. I would love to buy my next glasses there. Who knows, I might just fly back to buy my next pair there.

Superb technique, what can I say, took five minutes to fix what seemed to be a beyond saving frame piece. I shouldn't have chosen the 1.5 hour street parking option haha. That piece was also a stubborn one that non of the previous store I went to was able to fix perfectly, and every time after their fixing there was always a bit of imbalance causing either the left side higher or the right side higher, I have to put on and check the mirror and let them re-adjust - this time the gentleman passed me the fixed glasses and I put them on, they are perfectly ready to go.

Stopped in looking for help repairing my daughter's glasses. One of the hinges had broken off at the temple. He was able to repair them by replacing the temple with a spare. He called us back having completed the work within 30 minutes, and refused to accept payment. Super nice, helpful, and friendly. The shop looks nicely laid out, with a good selection. Highly recommend.
