Orangeville Banner

Metroland Newspapers are a terrible corporate citizen. They deliver their paper wrapped in plastic. Many of these papers are not being picked up by homeowners and the paper becomes litter. Repetitive requests for the Orangeville Banner to clean up their act fall on deaf ears. This paper is not subscription based and thats part of the problem. The papers are now a source of litter.

"The Banner" does not care about this community or your saftey. They do not run real news nor do they deserve the prestigous title of a valid newspaper. The management is comprised of Luciferian control freaks and they are evil, wicked, terrible but mostly disgusting human beings. This town deserves far better than "The Banner"

This company is not environmentally friendly. Repeatedly they negligently deliver papers to houses which already have several copies left at end of driveways or shoulder of road which are not picked up by home owners. This is because the paper is not subscription based, you get it whether you want it or not. I have complained numerous times about the wanton disregard of the Orangeville Banner to their office. Is the delivery person a slow learner, is management blind as to what is transpiring? This has been going on for years unabated. Why would he leave multiple copies given there are already papers that are not picked up? These papers are litter if they are not picked up. And since they are plastic wrapped are very slow to break down, and when the plastic does break down it ends up in micro pieces which are finding their way into humans and animals. Not to mention that the papers are found in ditches and water courses. Further given this paper is nothing but an advertisement mechanism for local businesses these advertisers are inadvertently not getting full band of their advertising dollar. They also are silent on the litter issue. Who at the Orangeville Banner going to take responsibility and choose another delivery method or come and pick up the litter you are creating. Likely to get more lip service from the paper. If you don't want the paper please call the Banner and tell them to stop delivery.

Delivered a paper to my house. Cancelled it 5 years ago. Snow storm.snowblower ran it over and now the snowblower is ruined. Phoned them, emailed them, they said they'd contact me shortly.guess what? Nothing!

We don’t get our flyers until late Friday or Saturday. Not happy

Most of the staff are a bunch of no-life losers that make fun of people. When I came here to grab bags and elastics for my kid's newspapers, another lady that wanted to bring back the bags and elastics that her kid that had recently quit had, one of the workers imitated her and the worst part was that her co-workers were grinning and laughing. #orangevillecitizenisbetter

They close at 5pm so hard to catch them after work. Great place to submit any community news.
