Staff is super nice.service was fast.food was excellent. A real value for the buck.one of my favourite breakfast places.

I don’t like to post negative reviews but this calls for one. Very disappointing with what I’m guessing is the manager! Our family has been coming here for over 30 years. We have always loved the staff and food, however today my husband was served raw pork. My husband let the waitress know and she was trying to get him to have it re cooked. He didn’t want it after that. It was pretty gross to have eaten raw pork. Some lady that had just come into the restaurant with her parents and kids, at least I’m guessing she’s the manager, came at our table with attitude because my husband didn’t think it was right to have to pay for a meal that was raw. All she could focus on was that he ate half of the meal so he should pay for half. Had she come up to the table with a different attitude and a shred of customer service and apologized, he would have definitely paid for the meal. It was not about the money but the principle. Instead she let her ego get the better of her because my husband said he was not going to pay for it, so she came back to the table so angry and told us that she comped the whole meal, does not want our business and we can leave, said we are banned from the restaurant and Merry Christmas to us? Who does that? The right thing to do would have been to apologize and comp his meal. Instead this moron said he would have to pay for half of the meal? She said it, in a tone like we were trying to get away with something. She embarrassed us in front of the other customers because she didn’t like it that he said No to paying for half the meal. We are in the food business and would never make a customer pay for raw food. So for $20 she lost the restaurant great customers and great tippers for her staff all because she is an A hole person in the wrong line of work! What lesson and example in service and decency is she teaching her children that we’re watching and listening to the whole interaction. Poor kids! She should be embarrassed for herself. I’m actually embarrassed for her and the restaurant. Great work Karen!

Had a great meal and even better service from both Giulia and Allison. They took and entire soccer team after a match and they were both awesome! Well done ladies

Good breakfast place, I recommend coming as early as you can to avoid crouds. This testaurant is oretty bug and get very hectic later in the morning.

The staff was good and efficient, dishes were served quickly despite waves of new people coming in.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a brunch and chill. Servers are very friendly. It's very busy so you may have to wait in lines. Reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend.

I saw a homeless guy with coat hanger and tin foil antennas walk by! Sweet! Plus food was good.

I would not recommend going to this restaurant. Was our first time here and the server, Julia, was very abrupt when she came to our table, just immediately started giving the specials without even saying goodmorning. We ordered for rye bread and she gave us white bread, saying that it sounded like white, and did not even offer an apology. The food was sub par. The eggs were overcooked, and the “rye” toast was literally drenched in butter. Be careful before you eat your food because our bread was served with hair. I guess we just did not have a good experience with them but will not go back anytime soon.

Amazing restaurant. I had the chicken parmesan pasta. Absolutely delicious! Great portions too!

We landed super early in Toronto, and this place was recommended to us. We had a standard breakfast, and it did not disappoint. Food came out fast and was delicious. No complaints. The service was excellent.

I have been coming here for over 50 years and my family knew the original owner Angelo and Lu and it’s always been my favourite restaurant ever! It still gives you that family feeling and the food is worth your money, the service today was amazing and we had a great waitress named Jeannie she was very cordial and provided great service very nice young lady. It’s still nice to see that there are still young generations with pleasant personalities. Thanks guys for great experiences

Everything about the place is incredible. The staff the location the outdoor patio the food especially the large portions and the price.

Seating is good early in the morning, the staff are all friendly, there's free wifi there if you ask, the food is proportionately big, and worth the price you pay for, along with the service. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed when you are waiting for and when eating your meal. Overall, I'm personally satisfied on all ends.

Nice family restaurant. The portion sizes were pretty large which I like and the staff were attentive. The only thing I could criticize is the food lacked salt a little and my eggs Benedict would have been more flavourful with some paprika sprinkled on top. Some greenery on the plates would have put it to the next level.

The perfect down home feel of a family style diner. The portions are huge and never ordered anything that wasn't fantastic. The owner is always there socializing with the regulars. My favorite go tos are the cesar salad and one of the many choices of club sandwiches.

HORRENDOUS SERVICE
My dad has been coming to this restaurant for 30 years and we have never experienced the horrible experience that we did today.
Understandably it was Father’s Day and busy, but it doesn’t excuse the fact that the waitress was extremely rude. The waitress neglected our table. It took 20 minutes for us to get drinks, she gave us attitude about us, wanting to split the bill, there were several tables that came in after us that were severed food and done by the time we even got our food. My dad didn’t receive one of the food items that was supposed to be on his plate. We asked the waitress about three times to get this item and she did not and my dad never received the item. Also his plate was we half empty. On top of this horrible service I went to express my concerns to the manager and she was also disgustingly rude. She said multiple times that she didn’t care and that it was on the server and if I was unimpressed with the service I should not tip. She also didn’t even want to comp us for the food item we didn’t receive until after I asked, I also asked for some sort of a discount and she refused and gave me attitude. She didn’t even apologize for the service. IWILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.this was a terrible experience and all I wanted to do was treat my dad to a nice Father’s Day breakfast and this made it a bad morning and was very upsetting. I am in the service industry as well and I have never seen customer service this bad. As someone who works in the industry I am more understanding to stressful situations but if this was my place of business there would have been many apologies and some sort of compensation. If you want mediocre food and horrible service then you should definitely go to this restaurant.
