Came to pretty for the first time and had the pleasure of being served by G. Loved the cavatelli

Wonderful atmosphere, food delicious, and our server Brittany made us feel so welcome and was very attentive. Overall a great experience!

This place knows how to accommodate a birthday party. We totally understand estimated the amount of people that would come and they were able to provide extra sitting. Amazing staff and our waiter was awesome!

With this price, i would expect to have more flavor and better service. Broccoli and pizza was ok, pasta.

We had a reservation yesterday at a Friday night at 7: 30. I arrived late but they warmly greeted us to our table. I arrived there by 8: 15 pm. We were sitting on the main floor on the high top tables. The interior design was very Art Deco like it came out from one of Great Gaspys parties. My sister wasn't a fan of the high top chairs because the metal lining was causing circulation marks on her legs. What I didn't understand was why there was only one drink menu for a table of 10. The menu was simple 2 pages but it was hard to understand what you were ordering because it would only describe the ingredients. Not really about the flavour and how it was prepared. I usually have to bother staff about my allergies. I approach another waitress and she never got back to me. I just felt bad about the our waitress because she was covering a big section of customers. She was trained very well but there were too many customers that were in her section. It took a long time for the food to arrive. Which was fine. I enjoyed buying a bottle of wine and chatting with my friends.but some of them were famished. My wine glass was dirty and they fixed that problem. Prices were a bit more expensive but the quality was very good. The ingredients tasted very fresh. The pasta portion was very small for some of the male guests on the table. My sister and I shared a pizza and pasta dish. The pizza portion is quite big. If you like think crusted pizza. The pizza tasted amazing. I have never had eggplant cooked so well! Usually I hate the taste of eggplant and it made it very tolerable. The pasta was simple seafood lemon and more butter. The guy who came around the table to give us cheese only made it halfway. He never came to me to add cheese to my pasta.thankfully my friend gave me the hot oil. It made the pasta taste a little less plain or bland. By the time it was dessert our sever was tired.she didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted dessert. Which is fine but I was really curious of the coconut pudding.oh well. Their loss on money I guess. I had a lovely time with my friends but I personally felt that they were understaffed on waitresses.

Hands down my favourite brunch spot! Especially for bottomless mimosas. Parking is a little tricky in this area though but perfect for ttc and Ubers.

The pricing is a little more on the higher end but I think the quality of the food and ambiance is worth it. Will always recommend oretta for brunch

Refreshing after my trip back from Italy. The second time here since my last visit during grand opening. I love the update on the menu. The mushroom pizza I ordered without cheese was light and tasty. It was the perfect amount to which I did not want to over stuff myself with carbs. I would definitely come back again to try other things on the menu.

Good good. Ok servers. Beautiful restaurant. Came for a bridal brunch, but nothing special was done for us. The food was good, but waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu. Became pretty busy, so people know about it but very hidden or inconspicuous from the street.

Had dinner there last night. Beautiful restaurant, food was perfect (polpette, pork chop, bolognese) service was on point (Rachel did a great job with suggestions and taking care of us). A great experience from beginning to end. Five stars!

Great experience and delicious cocktails! Too bad the kitchen was closed but I'll have to go back to try the food.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Food was good, but not wow. Our waiter Derrik was very nice and explained the menu in detail, which wasn't clear with many Italian words.
His wine suggestions were on mark. Overall a pleasant experience

Beautiful interior, overpriced and at best mediocre food. The place is very busy and gets loud very quickly — it’s hard to believe that at a brunch at 11 am you have to speak just as loudly to be heard by someone sitting across the table from you, as if you’re at a bar or at a nightclub

Ate lunch here as well as worked from the cafe upstairs. It's a good business place; not too loud and plenty impressive for clients.

Food was okay but service was great.

Nice ambiance.will definitely get pizzas again.
My only regret was to set for the tasting menu. Personally I will prefer choose what I am having next time.

I went for a baby shower here and had a lovely time. Everything was prompt, the food was so good, and the wait staff were absolutely amazing (and very funny to chat with).

I was there for the first time on Sunday night. We were there celebrating my birthday. Justin was our server, he was awesome and fun. Loved the food, it was a couple of notches above the typical Italian style restaurants out there, and the tiramisu was amazing! I will go back most definitely. Thank you Oretta

Excellent food and cocktails. Very busy atmosphere and the tables are close together but I would definitely go back.

Very friendly staff and great atmosphere! Food was average…wouldn’t go back- I found it to be too pricey for what I got out of the experience. Many better Italian spots in the city for similar price range.

A bit overhyped. Food is good, nothing great. Lots of other way better places. Prices are also high even for happy hour.

We were planning a wedding reception at Oretta for mid September 2021 and just over a week before our wedding the restaurant informed us they would not allow dancing even though they guaranteed it when we were initially signing the contract (mid-July). We had already booked a DJ and ensured a guestlist that would allow for the extra space required, not to mention dancing being a focal point of any Polish wedding reception. They informed us of this news in a casual email, referencing vague covid regulations from early July, which had already been in place when we were signing the contract. We decided to pivot with our plans and found a new venue that would accomodate us (Second Floor Events - Absolutely AMAZING btw). Although Oretta waited until the last minute to inform us of this change (likely because they didn't think we would be able to back out at that point), we were able to cancel in time to get our deposit back ($1000). It is now November 22,2021,2 months since we cancelled our reservation with Oretta and we have still NOT received our deposit. Although Miriam, the event planner, has been trying to get our deposit returned, the restaurant is claiming to have lost the receipt for this transaction. Despite the additional stress of having to replan our entire reception in less than a week thanks to Oretta's casual indifference, we were still not going to write a negative review until they decided to ALSO casually steal $1000. What kind of business operates likes this? An absolute joke. Take your money elsewhere. UPDATE: after posting this review we promptly received our deposit back. And I guess that says everything you need to know.

Our server - Tina was a gem - sweet and friendly and recommended some dishes we may not have tried on our own. We went for the friend Calamari - super fresh - no rubber bands! Fried artichokes and the radicchio salad. All these dishes were flavourful and super tasty! We also ordered the pasta prepared in the cheese wheel. Was super fun to watch John the Manager whip it up. My only ask would have been for some garlic in the dish ; } This place is beautiful and Bae and I had a fun night out.

My daughter brought me here and it was such a great time, the food was great and the espresso strong and smooth!

We came for the famous Bigoli Cacio E Pepe and got so much more than we could have expected. The decor and ambiance is cute and trendy. The dishes were all fantastic. We got an order of the octopus, which was light and delicious for an app. And then came the pasta, made with whisky lit on fire in a large parm wheel in front of you.
If you love cheese, it’s a must. One of the best pastas I’ve had in Toronto.

And the pasta wasn’t even the best part. The service was top tier. We were greeted by the friendly hostesses. Our server, Daniel, was witty and constantly checking on us. The manager who made our pasta, Donavan, was also fantastic and absolutely hilarious. It was by far the best service we’ve had at a restaurant in Toronto. We walked away happy in every sense. Can’t wait to go back!

Really nice and friendly staff, our server was a young woman who sounded south American and was absolutely WONDERFUL. The food is very good, not amazing, the atmosphere is great and the price was good for everything that comes included with the brunch meal. The bumbalone wasn't filled with cream like I expected but it was still good. They also brought out a sparkler in the dessert for my sisters birthday which was really fun! Was pretty packed, but that's to be expected for a Sunday morning. This isn't a great place if you're worried about distancing from other groups while eating but I don't have a problem with that and I would definitely reccomend thia place for the service and food.

The burrata and prosciutto insalata was so good! Overall food, ambience, and service was great. The cocktails were delicious as well:). Worth the money and trip to the city!

Held an Alumni event for around 20 ppl, great choice. Thankful to the Oretta staff for their coordination, hospitality and professionalism. Great ambience to a buzzing restaurant on a Saturday night, we were situated at the upper floor where the room was very well set and organized. Food was on spot, their fried calamari was very good, so was their Capestane (scallop) and Tiramisu but their Branzino (sea bass) was just amazing! Many fellow Alumni complimented the Bistecca di Manzo (12oz steak). Thanks!

I moved nearby and decided to pop into the cafe for lunch. I ordered an americano and a proscuitto sandwich to eat in. Americano was a little burnt and sandwich was heated which was nice but it wasn't heated evenly so some parts were cold while others were a nice temp. I'd rather wait an extra few minutes for a fully heated sandwich. The sandwich also had way too much meat on it, it was incredibly salty and some parts were mushy due to the added condiments. I know this is borderline nit picky now but last complaint, HVAC was very loud upstairs. Ultimately, there are better options in the area.

What a great experience! The unique items and food were phenomenal. I highly recommend the Te aneletti duck Ragu, it was fresh and full of flavour. The staff was very friendly. Well worth the stop, will be back soon.

Stopped by for the first time for a few late night cocktails. Will was my bartender and not only was his service attentive and friendly, he made me one of the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back to Orreta for cocktails, and hopefully I will be able to try some of the lovely looking bites they have to offer!

Wow- what a time to be alive. The service was bewildering and the decore, my sweet god, don’t get me started. The perfect place for an assignation of love, barhmitzva or even signing a fresh off the press property agreement. My server, Borthalameiu, knew more about wine then anyone I have ever met. Recomend them if you go!

Very nice experience here at Oretta. A real gem amongst the awful chaos of the theatre district next door. My wife and I visit on Monday and learn not only a beautiful restaurant with high ceiling and fanciful Art Deco furnishings, the food and service is very very good (despite horror stories on the King West. This section of King West is free of such. Very classy instead. Upscale. Beautiful glass front and nice warm atmosphere. Lovely wine, recommended by Brinn, our server. Beautiful girl. Loved her!

We will be back with our friends.

My friend and I came last night and we left feeling great about the experience, especially Brynn, who served us and went out of her way to make sure we had a memorable time. I recommend highly.

We plan to come back many times hopefully.

The pizzas are really great and cheap happy hour drinks which we found out about while there are a major plus, combined with the staff experience and beautiful surroundings.
