We had a great time. We enjoyed the Norm Foster play Movin In. The theatre was comfortable. There were refreshments available in a nice lobby.

This is a nice small venue that has good atmosphere and nice helpful workers.
My only issue with this place is the sound needs to be upgraded. I've been to many performances here and if your sitting in the front it's fine but the middle to the back your going to probably miss parts.
The last performance I saw which was Matilda we were sitting in the middle and I missed a few things because I couldn't hear and my whole row said afterwards there were parts they couldn't hear.
There are some performers that have very projecting voices, but some that don't and that's why they need some type of mic or sound that can be heard all around so no matter where your sitting you can hear perfectly.

This is a beautiful theater. It is a historical site with all the grandeur for shows and entertainers alike.

This was my first time going here. Love the old architecture and details on the interior and exterior of the building. Looks like it is in need of some interior care. The layout was great. You had great visual from everywhere. Front seats on the balcony don't offer much leg room, so if you're a taller person, I would suggest picking alternative seats. There are a lot of stairs, so if that might be an issue for you, stay on the main floor. The sound was good. With this theater being on the smaller scale, you could easily hear everything. This location is wheelchair accessible with ramps entering the building and inside has an elevator. Overall, the building was clean, and the bathrooms were clean. Bar was reasonably priced with a small selection of alcohol.

Great seats anywhere in house. Parking available onsite but it is paid parking. Lots of stuff around it and close to downtown.

I came here for the Banff film festival, It was a great venue. The staff was very courteous and understanding trying to fit in everyone. As far as intermission there is definitely not enough time to access the bathroom so go before. The bar prices are very reasonable too.

Wonderful historical building conveniently located in the downtown area of Orillia. Great variety of music and theater for all ages!
