Orleans Brewing Co. - OBC

Very disappointed with my visit to the OBC. Guests at our party were treated poorly by servers and were over charged for mediocre food made in a DIY kitchen. Not to mention it made everyone sick. The beer was alright, nothing special whatsoever. Looking at the many other breweries in the Ottawa area, OBC brews mediocre beer and doesn’t stand out anymore compared to other Breweries in the Ottawa area.

It’s a place to find information and learn.
I understand receiving negative reviews is not easy to accept. However, it’s a chance to do better by taking responsibility and not bashing the customer for their comments, nor fabricating their ‘aggressive behaviour’ to exonerate yourself. It’s an opportunity wasted.
I won’t return to OBC again. Not because of the undercooked food, long wait, or the fact that my clothes smelled so much like grease I had to wash them all, but rather, because you have made false statements about a good man and friend who conducted himself appropriately and with restraint, where many would not have.
Indeed an opportunity wasted. Accountability goes a long way!

Quick stop with friends for a Maple Cabin and wings. Very tasty beer! Great service at the bar.

Good selection of meals, best brewery in the Ottawa area; the reason is that they only put out great beers of all kinds. They actually hold back sub par brews.

Favorite place to go in the east end for a flight. Great food with upstairs seating area on the mezzanine. Owner was nice and accommodating with the kids.

Really good beer, came through here on a beer tour. Recommend the Buffalo Solider (chocolate milk stout), and they let us try a Himalayan sea salt fruit sour with guava that was awesome

The best Pub, in town.
With their amazing selection of their crafted beer and the good food, you will not be disappointed!

Honestly a great local East End Ottawa venue. Owners are present, bilingual, and fantastic - truly committed to every patron feeling welcome and well-served. Insane how much quality brew pub grub threw churn out from a tiny corner kitchen. A must stop, go check it out!

Awesome. Had some beers and pretzel sticks. The beers are very tasty but their homemade mustards are beyond perfect.

It's an underrated place to have a meal. Fun place to get a beer. The last few visits have all been the same. I had to instruct the server to take away my empty plates, glasses, menu and garbage, in order for them to actually remove them after usage (they didn't get the hint, even when the table was getting full). Server's seems to be trained more for serving at a bar, but not serving people. If you need to eat and run, it won't be a fast experience, unless you ask for it. Will only return for beer, but not the experience.

Amazing beer and amazing food. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, while the atmosphere is enhanced by a delightful wait staff/kitchen.

All their beers are top notch. Staff is awesome. Food is great.

Oktoberfest beer and Cranberry cider are exceptional. I had the “Create your own” sandwich: ham, prosciutto, mortadella, provolone with mayo, tomato, black olives and pickled onions. Lots of meat, simply delicious. Great service from my servers. First time, won’t be the last WOW

Highly recommend the jalapeno poppers and the summer he'll ya flatbread. Love me two times is a wonderful easy drinking beer for this time of year!

Love going to this place.
Always a great selection of different types of beer. They like to experiment, so always something new to try too, if you like that.
Their wheat beer and IPA are great standards.

Like their beer, their menu has some interesting choices and changes regularly. The candied bucket of bacon on the left the picture, delicous.

Dinner tonight was great, pretzels to start, so fresh and hot and 3 dips offer great choice. The crisply prosciutto salad and spicy crispy chicken sandwich were so good as well. A couple dk99’s and juicy mchazeys topped it off. Great experience as always

We had the oysters which were very nice. Could have come with a few more slices of lemon, not just a single slice for 8 oysters.
Our wings and bison burgers took very long to arrive. The burgers tasted great. Somewhat disappointed at the soggy burger bun.
We were also disappointed with the portion sizes. We ended the night a little hungry to be honest.
Great selection of beers, no surprise there, we left purchasing a couple to go.
Service was quite slow, but it seemed like there was one waitress for the entire place which might be why.
Not sure we will come again. Overall was alright, had better.

Good beer and the food is great too! Small menu, but easy to find something satisfying. The grilled cheese is very cheesy! Ball caps are out of stock until at least December unfortunately

I have just got to say, for a small local brewery they sure have some amazing culinary skills to pair with their beers. Take a look at the amazing charcuterie boardS to take home or share with friends on site.

The beer is fantastic. Highly recommend the kolsh. Haven't had a chance to eat any of the food yet.

Just got the Kolsch Me Ousside beer and really enjoyed it. After reading the back of the can I purchased a Bison and it will not jump 6ft high. Any tips on how to make this an achievable milestone for my bulky investment? Thanks, great beer!

Great spot - always busy when I've been in. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Owners are lovely. Wide variety of beer available (wine too) and the food has always been satisfying.

Lovely patio, great beer and locally sourced cider and wine. One gem is they have a wood fored oven they make homemade Flatbreads and pizza that look amazing. You can also sit out on the patio with your dog and kids.

Fantastic place with great service, highly reccomend!
