I was there two weeks ago for my son and I felt bad for that young French receptionist who seemed to be doing all the work. As I approach her to book my son, I was just happy that she was the one serving me instead of the other that wasn't doing anything but staring at her computer screen. Merci pour ton service madame:)

I had Dr. Byrne for an allergy related issue. He was good and professional. He gave me two prescription one of which I got immediately and the other I still haven’t received in over 3 1/2 months. The doctor is great but receptionist are terrible. They don’t answer the phone, don’t call back in 5 business days as they claim and have only gotten back to me once, weeks after I called. I’d give Dr. Byrne 4.5 stars and the receptionist and nurse 0 stars

Marc Vielleux was my sons’ paediatrician, until after I met with him about a letter he had written, on my sons mother’s behalf, involving himself in my court case. When the judge read the letter in court, he stated that he had never seen a letter like this from a doctor addressing the court and stating an endorsement from Marc Vielleux, saying it was in his professional opinion that the mother should have sole custody of the boys because of his observation of her with the boys at their appointments, and her exemplary display of being a good mother. Sound unusual that a doctor would get involved in a family matter like that? Even though he had never met me, the father. My children’s mother was arrested, charged, and convicted of domestic violence, and continues the domestic abuse through alienation, as well as abusing the children by alienating me, their father, through the corrupt family law system, and using corrupt doctors like Marc to facilitate this child abuse. The judge stated that the doctor sounded, “compromised. ”Avoid this doctor at all costs. His actions are grounds for a lawsuit, which I am filing against him.

This clinic is the most difficult to get ahold of. They answer their phones probably 10% of the time. And no, this isn't just based off of busy call times, I've called at multiple times throughout the day. The main problem is with the complete lack of respect from a specific doctor who never shows up, randomly cancels your appointments that you've waited over 1 month for, and insist on phone call appointments, yet don't call during the scheduled time. It is completely disrespectful and an utter waste of time. I know the health care system is extremely stretched currently, but this has been the case since pre-pandemic life.

I don't like posting negative reviews but I feel that I have to warn others. After years of having no family doctor I was excited when I heard that this clinic is accepting new patients. I went in on a pre set appointment taking time off work and yet I had to wait for 40 minutes in the reception area. I went in with my husband for the meet and greet and somehow our combined appointments of 30 minutes became only a 5 minutes appointment. We went in with bunch of concerns and dr Nbububa was extremely dismissive and asked us to book another appointment to discuss these concerns with him. I asked the dr to order a blood work for me and he simply said you don't always need a blood work, although he hinted that we may have fertility problems because of a past surgery. After leaving we tried to call the clinic and try to find another dr and as expected, they never answer their calls. Long story short, my partner and I removed ourselves from this dr's list. I'd rather have no dr than have someone that doesn't listen to my concerns. The rating on this clinic is very accurate.

My family doctor has been with this clinic for many years. If it was not for the fact that getting a new family doctor is almost impossible, I would avoid this clinic at all cost. Over the many years, it's always been the case where the staff is often very rude and unfrienly. They hardly ever greet you with a welcome and just hang up the phone after a conversation. This is not an isolated instance but a regular occurance at this location. If you can - chose another clinic.

I have never felt more let down by a clinic or family doctor; I am not able to talk to my doctor directly without waiting a month between appointments. I had an appointment earlier this month, and she agreed to my request for a dose increase, and when I went to go pickup my prescription, it was the same dosage.

I called and asked what’s going on, even went in person. The receptionist was rather rude and not even allowing me to finish my sentence, saying I’m not even allowed pass off a message to my family doctor I’ve had for nearly 20 years.

I am unable to concentrate on my work any longer, my symptoms are back, everything I have addressed in my follow up was disregarded. It is sad my work and professional career will now suffer as a disregard to my mental health.

I didn’t go to the doctors for a while, now I remember why; No one cares about you, you’re a quick number in and out.

Thanks for nothing.

This clinic took over my file after my family doctor left her old clinic and subsequently left this one too.

My care had been previously mismanaged (by the previous clinic to be clear) and this new office staff worked closely with me to release my files and resolve my issues. They were keen to help despite the fact that it was not their staff who had made errors previously. Thank you Abby & team for your assistance and kindness is helping me.

Honestly im pretty disappointed, I have been a patient of this clinic since I was born I am now 21, my doctor was dr bruce and she was amazing she always answered all my questions and gave me good advice an really payed attention to me as all doctors should to with their patients. Any problems I had she was quick to resolve it. But she has retired sadly an I’ve gotten a new doctor. It’s been 5 years now I’ve been having this problem w my body and it’s getting annoying now I’ve went out of my way to try n fix the problem myself also googling stuff to see what I can do because I’ve been bringing this up to my new doctor for quite some time now and Ive gotten lots of blood n pee test and it comes back negative each time but I still continue to have this problem and nothing is being done about it. It also sucks trying to reach out to her because the line is always busy, most of the time I call the people at the front office are very rude I’ve only talk to one person there that was very nice but the rest answer with aggression, I’ve left a message and it’s been two weeks now that they haven’t reached out to me. Getting an appointment is next to impossible. And it’s crazy because my best friend tells me her doctors is the complete opposite she was shocked to hear what I had to say about my doctors n that she cannot believe how much they don’t care. She told her to find a new doctors but do you know how crazy it is to find a doctors that is excepting new patients. It’s literally impossible. I can’t win in my situation.

Folks if you're going to close early could you please change your hours so we know. Or answer the phones! Put it on Twitter! Something!

The allergist is amazing but the clinic is impossible to get hold of.

After getting through with their absolutely ludicrous calling system. I saw two doctors within a week and half. Mine is away and will return shortly. Both were terrible experiences and did not resolve anything for me. I’m sitting at a hospital right now waiting to be seen as we speak. What I did learn from this lesson, is how fortunate I am to have the doctor I do have who takes her time to hear what is wrong and takes the necessary steps to find out what is going on. I hope these doctors are better with their own patients. The second didn’t want to hear what led me his office and told me to focus on telling him where the pain was. I was APPALLED. Yes there is a lack of doctors, good ones are hard to find.

The service from the admins behind the counter is very very poor, sending prescriptions to wrong pharmacy, they tell you they will call you back for your requests and never do. Who is in charge of these two employees?

Dr. Byrne the allergist is the worst. He loves to prescribe pills for allergies and tells you there will be no side affects as if big pharma pays him commission. They are awful pills with many side effects but he couldn’t care less and prescribes them immediately and brushes you off when you ask for different solutions.

But Dr. El Masri on the other hand is the best dr.he is very knowledgeable and I also like the receptionist a lot, she is very kind and cares about customer. Just avoid dr. Byrnes!

However, as written- and as my initial review said; the secretarial staff is not great- one in particular is awful, and i asked her name yesterday. (This review is edited to show that this is my 3rd time having to deal with the same young woman)

Time 1- she assumed she knew better than the nurse i was requesting to speak to- and attempted to block my access that i 100% have a right to as a patient of this clinic for over 20 years (any patient has this right). This was my initial review; short form.

Time 2: she refused to do more than “take a message” in am urgent time sensitive situation involving a medication i was imminently out of, and was in back order- and my dr was not aware. My dr *needed* to be made aware, to write a new script, to cover this medication so i didn’t get slammed into cold turkey withdrawal. I am a vulnerable person, disabled. Also in a huge flare- that would have been devastating- as it was the stress of the 11th hour scrambling and frantic phone calls was exhausting. My wonderful pharmacist *physically went to the clinic repeatedly and it wasn’t until i became honestly angry and demanded to speak to the manager that this individual’s tone changed even slightly… because SHE had been wrong- the prescription had bee there since that morning. However- the requests to speak to my dr had been happening for 4 days- my dr did not know.

I was treated abhorrently yesterday by her. Honestly- i love my dr … my dr told me to tell the front that she wants to see me in 4 weeks. So i did. Apparently this annoyed miss secretary who then copped an even bigger attitude complete with huffs, eye rolls overtop of her mask and i was absolutely taken aback. She also demanded to know why my dr wanted to see me in 4 weeks time which honestly should not matter. My dr said 4 weeks. It needs to be 4 weeks. Right now my appointment is in 7 weeks. Really?
I asked her name which also seemed to be a lot to respond in any type of respectful sentence- and when i could not understand her i asked her to repeat- well, that was too much and the performance with that was too much.
I was so upset and flustered that i forgot to hand in something my dr wanted me to- i have no idea where i left it- and i left the office before i said something rude and against their code of not being disrespectful towards the staff.
Staff being disrespectful towards us though- that’s fine.
I have requested to speak with the manager twice now. Once 4 weeks ago and once 24 hours ago.
Highly recommend the drs. Highly recommend the nurses. But after these experiences and how draining they have been- unless the staff begins to be told their behaviour towards patients really is not right- i don’t recommend here if you have anxiety or mental health issues- being treated like this when feeling mentally awful and physically awful… i feel absolutely like i don’t matter at all.

*can no longer get through by phone to ask to speak to any of the managers. So, I have now asked verbally 3 times, and today sent an email attn each of the 2 main managers… i just want to stand up for myself then move on! Wow, right? Must be a LOT of meetings.

It's supposed to be a place where you go to "see" your family doctor. Except that they only work 1 day a week, don't have evening or same day appointments; only do over the phone appointments first and then assess whether you need to see them, even when the reason is obvioulsy yes for things requiring a stetoscope or ear scope or what not. Getting appointments for kids is when they need it is nearly impossible. Oh yeah, and now 3 doctors are all "quitting" their practice allegedly, all at the same time with not even an effort to wait for replacements, for instance, new grads that would gradiate not 1 month after they plan to leave, leaving an extra 3k ppl without family doctors. Just dispicable.

My family doctor used to work here but he moved and closed his practice. He was a caring, compassionate and excellent physician. Unfortunately, I have nothing good to say about his replacement. This man is rude and unprofessional on so many levels. He calls whenever he feels like it, not keeping to his scheduled appointment. He yells on the phone, uses sarcasm, and talks in a demeaning tone. He doesn't want people wasting his time and will tell you so. He’s unfamiliar with his own office administrative processes. I find him difficult and uncooperative. This office is extremely disorganized and poorly managed. The breakdown in communication is obvious between the staff, doctor and patients. Some receptionists are better than others, but most make me cringe. If you hate your jobs so much, please leave. Stop taking your displeasure and frustration out on the patients. No one here makes any serious efforts to help you. They simply don't care. You all deserve a Zero rating and should be ashamed.
