Best hardware store in Orleans. Staff knowledgeable, helpful and I always find great deals.

Whenever I go to Home Hardware, I always find the staff friendly and helpful. I like to purchase goods from this store rather than shop at the large big-box stores, where it can be a challenge to find anyone to help.

Great! Knowledgeable fella helped me and I was able to get what I wanted re wasps and fruit flies.

Nice friendly young lady at the cash.

Smaller than similar stores, but always able to find staff and they all seem so well trained.

Loads of goods in that store. Going back for a roll of chicken wire to keep my plants chew free this winter, as lots of hungry rabbits in Orleans.

Customer service is superb, very kind and helpful staff, but the store is too crowded with stuff, hard to move around. I can say they are well stocked up with most products your home needs and you need.

By far the worst customer service. Asked for help at paint desk 2 times waited around over 15 minutes to never be served. You have 5 people just standing around the customer service desk having conversations between themselves.

Small Home Hardware, but decent selection, good prices and more knowledgeable staff then Home Depot

What a terrific local store. They remember you when you come in and they really set the standard for hardware store customer service.

I've had to price match all of my plumbing items with other stores as home hardware is almost twice as expensive as home depot or rona

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked especially for sale items. Good parking and access. Store is a bit small but they seem to have everything in stock.

Some great deals and friendly service, feels a bit crowded to get around the store though. Will return.

This is my favorite store right by my place I'm always there due that I'm a contractor and save me time from going to another store and save money because often prices are better than the big stores for certain things and staff are so friendly and ready to answer your questions if you need to and it's hard to get that type of service in big stores. Great sales all the time throught the year and store is always keep clean.

This HH is my "go to" hardware. Shawn, Anna and all employees I have met are so helpful and they actually LISTEN when you ask a question and ALWAYS have a suggestion to help me. You can't go wrong shopping here.

They treat me like I am family.better than that! Like I am the only customer they have. Love shopping here

Friendly staff. My only complaint is how cluttered the place can be finding it hard to find what I need. Not much room to move between the isles.

I liked the most friendly and helpful staff that works here. If I want anything from Home Hardware this is definitely the store to go to! From the lady who wanted the K cookware set.

It's no wonder this franchise can't keep up to the other hardware stores. I called and got put on hold twice with out ever being acknowledged, third time hung up on 4th time placed on hold again all 3 times by different people.

Staff was friendly, found items quickly and they had stock of items that weren't available at other stores.

Easy finding stuff in store. Had to make 3 trips in one day for more supplies and the girl I dealt with (Cassandra) was awesome! She also remembered I have a CF1 card which is an added bonus for the military community!

I have been going there, since they opened, mostly for small items. I could go to home depot or lowes, but buying from smaller retailers, is good for the local ecomony, plus all their staff are super kind, and their service is great!

Some places just feel Canadian. Small town hospitality in a big town where many can only connect digitally by phone. Here they smile, talk, and help, all without looking at a phone. Shopping here reminds me of days long past.

Absolutely the best customer service of all Orleans hardware stores. Extremely friendly and very helpful staff. Knowledgeable and quick to answer questions. Superb customer service every single time I go in the store.

I like this store because it is not huge. You can quickly find what you want. For me that is a huge bonus, especially when I have to wear a mask.

My experience started off not so great as I had to place an order in person multiple times as there were delays and issues with the order (not something they carry in stock- they have to order it). With the lockdown, things were more complicated as they were so busy with curbside pickup that I couldn't get through on the phone and had to go in person 3 times to re-enter that order (it hadn't gone through), which was very incovenient. However, Shawn, one of the staff members, really helped to make things better and called me immediately when the product arrived, loaded it into my car and offered a compensation. He provided exemplary customer service and turned a bad experience into a great one. Thank you!

With all the mess due to covid, these people have managed to put together a curbside program that gets the product to the curb in 15 minutes!
I ordered from another store and didn't even get a reply/confirm.

I like this place. You can actually call them and they will pull things off the shelf for you. It is small it they have a huge variety of items. Their inventory control is superb so they reorder items automatically. Most big box places never even answer the phone. Website is a pain though. Just call them.

These guys are solid, knowledgeable, hardworking, and friendly. If they don't have a solution, they'll bend over backwards to help you find one. They're always happy to help, and make you feel like a valued customer. Even in these trying times, I've never heard a sharp word, a sigh of frustration, or anything. They may not have as big a selection as bigger stores (they don't have the space of say home depot) but I've never had a problem getting help here, and they'll likely have what you need. Start here whenever possible.

Store is a bit cramped and was quite busy but staff at customer service were still helpful. I ordered online with store delivery so it was quick and easy.

Family run business and they are super helpful and nice with customers. They carry everything you need and always find whatever you need. I also salute their implication and involvement in the community.

I like this store but they seem to be struggling with how to adapt to an increasingly online world. I ordered something online that was shipped to the store. I had to pick it up at customer service, then take it to the cash where I had to show my ID and credit card I used to pay for it, then they had to find the paperwork, then I had to sign for it before j was able to leave. Took about 15 minutes or so. Why couldn't they just send it to me, instead?

Great little hardware store. Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Always great, personal service. Prices are often better than the big box stores. I don't mind ordering, and as long as I place the order by Sunday at 5 PM, it is there by Wednesday. Too darn many people are in a rush these days. They have an amazing amount of items in there for the size of the store, and there is even more available on line. All the staff is friendly and very helpful. For people who complain about the staff, maybe they should look in their own mirror.
I love shopping here. I hope that they are around for a very long time.

Trying to fit a large store in a shoebox size? ! Way too crammed, can't find anything! Looks very dumpy. Too expensive for the quality of the item. Staff seem stressed out.

Went in to get some seed a feed after bagging my seed I proceeded to the cash expecting there to be a scale there like most stores. The lady informed me I had to go wait in a different line to get weighed and then line up again. I told her there should be instructions at the self serve bin to which I received and extremely insincere apology.take my money elsewhere from now on

My go-to store for all of my home improvement needs. Home Hardware Orléans always has top notch real friendly neighbourhood service, expertise help that is hard to find these days and an incredible stock. When not in stock, I know I can get it ordered in very soon. Truly deserving of 5 stars.

Just purchased a BBQ from this location, the owner Shawn was an absolute beauty! Got there, was going to disassemble the bbq to fit in my SUV and he told me not to bother then he loaded it in the home hardware truck and drove it to my place. Amazing customer service. Will be returning there before going to Lowe's and home depot! CHEERS!

A cashier named Kristyn was extremely friendly and helpful. She told the exact spot I could find the product I was looking for. Great service!
