Orleans Urgent Care Clinic

Cette clinique est insalubre peut importe l’heure de la journée. Le plancher, les murs, le plafond témoignent un manque de propreté troublant pour un environnement médical. Le personnel accueillant manque d’aptitudes en relation d’aide. Le temps d’attente est plus long que votre salle d’attente à l’urgence de l’hôpital. Aucune disposition n’est mis en place pour une gestion plus efficace de la salle d’attente. Les propriétaires de cette clinique devraient répondre à des accusations de négligence. La somme d’argent récolté quotidiennement en accueillant un nombre excessif de patients n’est certainement pas redirigée vers une offre de service médical à la hauteur de notre société canadienne.

Really bad experience. It takes long time to get your results. No professional behavior from the staff.

I went to Orleans Urgent Care Clinic today, I was seen by Dr. Aubin and his nurse. They were both so compassionate, caring and friendly. They solved my medical problem. I was fortunate to meet them.

I’ve always had good service here. When I need something more than a walk in clinic but I’m not in an ER situation (life vs death) then I come here.

Went to Urgent Care today and the staff were were warm friendly and understanding to my needs. People need to understand and be in there shoes before they judge them, there working to the best of there ability to see as many people as they can.

People don’t understand at times what there dealing with and need to be more understanding and compassionate and say thank you for your tiredness work you do everyday instead of complaining

We reached at 8.10 but there were already 50 people ahead of us and so better try and reach early. The staff however was courteous and efficient.
They tried their best to accommodate everyone.
I went to get a foreign body removed from my foot and it took about 6 hours including the procedure which was pretty good looking at the ER wait times.

I brought my grandfather in as he fell down the stairs. They triaged him right away and made this scary situation much better. Nurses, doctors and X-ray tech were amazing and kind!

The male doctor (dr lockman) (I believe he’s a blonde middle aged man probably older than 50 with a prominent receding hair line) was extremely rude to me & started my visit by telling me that I should know I can’t take time off without x ray results for my finger injury despite my work sending me home. I told him I didn’t know that & he responded by saying “no well you should know” in a very condescending tone. He was very condescending with his tone of voice almost shaming me for taking the time off although I had no choice. Everyone else working was extremely polite and helpful. During the initial visit I asked for a doctors note. The doctor seemed to have forgot and had attitude when I asked him very nicely if he could make one for me. If I could I would refuse to see him again. He was disrespectful and I believe he should not be working in the health care field if his patients are an inconvenience to him. If you get dr Dennis lock man and are a poc it’s probably a good idea to refuse him, he’s a very rude man.

Horrible wait times. I got here at 8am. It’s 12pm and I’m still waiting. We have a serious problem with our health care system. Wake up politicians.

They took such good care of my husband recently when he had a bad allergic reaction. Very thorough. I do find it a little strange that they require a mask but don't provide them. Staff could introduce themselves when giving care.

It’s long wait sometimes it is what it is like everyone they have days when they’re short. The girls at the front are good and the doctors are good.

Got there at 7: 15am and waited in the line outside. I was #17. Got registered quickly. I went for a fractured bone in my hand and didn’t have to wait for a long for an x-ray. Everybody I interacted with was very kind. Got my hand put into a cast and a referral. I was out within four hours.

Excellent Doctors, after consulting prescribed X-ray and got it done within minutes then seeing Doctor again.
Respectful, listen to all problems, enquired about my medical history and went through all documents of last 5 years.

Thanks and gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses, X-ray technicians and all staff of Orleans Urgent Care Clinic are well trained, professional, kind and caring.

I owe my life to them for their correct diagnosis and guiding me to immediately see cardiologist to prevent Heart attack.

Once again Thanks to Urgent care clinic, longtime waiting is worth at this place.

I called them to hear- we do not book appointment and fully booked for the day, come tomorrow at 8 am.
My wife went to clinic yesterday morning 8 AM and doc checked her at 4 pm. 8 hours shift- not bad I think.
Giving 2 star for doctor.

Closed at 5PM on Monday. At least hours on maps have to be updated.
Big lines of people in the morning, as anywhere in Ottawa. Expect at least 3 hours of waiting, in the best case.
Interior is lower quality than average.
It does not look like they lack money, taking in account the constant flow of people to this place. They just do not invest them into clinic.
Doctors are very good, no questions to them.

P.s.
Some reviweres say that 3-7 hours of waiting is ok. But it is not ok if you compare with European countries. Many of them also have free, but much more developed systems.
August 2023: They are already closed at 2PM, when it is stated that they work till 9 PM.

Watched the doctor walk out the door at 630 on a Wednesday night, jump in his shiny sports car and drive off. Great service at this place.in a pig's eye.

Our GP is away on holidays for a month. So my wife went there because she had infection in her finger, she stood outside from 7: AM till 8 AM, and waited inside until about 12: 00 to be seen by a grumpy doctor who scold her for not going to her GP telling her that her GP is likely just not answering the phone. He prescribed an ointment and told her to wait until her GP comes back and go to see him. Needless to say that it didn't work and a few days later we had to go to another walking clinic the wait was 10 minutes and we were met by a pleasant Doctor who had the right attitude and diagnosis.

I've been waiting for 3 hours for a prescription refill. No where to sit. Patients sitting on the floor.

I went to Orleans Urgent Care this week I was there at 7: 25am and there was already a line up. I was willing to wait because I was in so much pain, I knew I’d get what I needed here. The wait was about an hour and a half.
The receptionist was friendly, the nurses were nice. And I was so great full that the Dr I spoke with asked me the right questions and listened to me. He was then able to assign me the proper medication for my pain.

I tried to call for 2 days to make sure the clinic is open and doesn’t close early but they don’t answer the phone at all! I ended up bussing for 2 hours just to be told they decided to close very early. I came 2pm & their website indicates they close 9pm. I suggest leaving an automatic voice message so people know when they call whether to come or not or indicate on the website when you plan to close early! It’s unfair for people who have to travel long distances while being sick.

Got there early on a Sunday. Got me through quickly and professionally. Very nice team, and facility.

Spent 4 hours there, yesterday. Although it was a long 4 hours, I am glad they were there to repair and stitch my finger. The staff and doctors do a fantastic job. They are very friendly. And the doctor made great conversation while freezing and stitching. I did not get her name, but thank you.

Had to have a large cyst removed from the middle of my back. I arrived at 930am. Having never been there before, I took a number to register. 3 hrs later. I was registered. 2 hrs later I was in an exam room. By then end of the following hr my cyst had been removed painlessly. 3: 30pm ish.i was on my way. This would have taken at least 12 hrs at a hospital. The staff were efficient and courteous. I'll definitely make use of this facility if I have future need.

I have never had a bad experience here. Yes, you wait, but, given the healthcare crisis right now, I'll take it. I have a family doctor who never has availabilities and whose receptionists are extremely rude. Everyone at this clinic is extremely polite.

Wonderful, fast and friendly clinic. Everything was super efficient. The clinic and xray staff were wonderful with my husband's emergency. Dr Makropoulos is excellent!
