This salon was always my Go to when in the area as the owner Andy always used to do my nails a decade ago when I lived in the area.today however has deterred me from going again. I called and asked if they were still open as I want to quickly take off shellacs & put rgular polish… I asked how much in which Andy told me 20 dollars total for polish or only 5 bucks more if I just put shellac back on. I explained to him that while the price is good I found shellac causes my toe nail to split which is why I specified regular. He said okay and when will I come. I told him 10 mins his response “okay make sure”… I arrived in 10 mins as promised & a lady started to do my nails.seemed like she was in a rush she then told me to do shellac, I said no thank you & explained the same that I did to Andy… she THEN says well if I do polish she is going to charge me 25, and regardless if I chooses shellac or polish she will charge the same. I said that’s not what you guys said & she began to speak in their language. I paid to take off the shellac & didn’t bother with reapplying based off the simple fact that they now alter prices based off their convenience. I wasted my time and could have gone to a different shop. Have always recommended this place for over 10 years. Very disappointed to see Andy stand there & not say anything. If they didn’t want to do it I should have been told on the phone before wasting time as I was very transparent before going there.

There is no price list which is not a sign of good business practise.

But overall it’s a great place to get the nails done

I went for threading and it was the WORST! I would not recommend nif you want a neat job. I had to fix it myself at home. I forgot to mention the cuts that are now starting to heal.

I went there to get my badly done acrylics removed that was done by some other place. The person did not only remove my acrylics professionally but also with extreme patience. Then did french tips for me on my own real nails exactly how i wanted them. This is the most economical and professional place you can go for.
I agree some people might do the job better than others here but if you particular about what you need. They do this perfectly. I was looking for my go to nails spot since an year and this will be the place i will go to from now on. I am very particular Person and appreciate a job well done. I 100% recommend this place as a must go to for nails.

Oscar is great.they do my nails well and their prices are good. I have been going there for years. They renovated so it nice and clean. The technicians are great. Give then a try.

Came to Oscar nails to get a full acrylic set for my birthday. I was the only one on the salon for my entire appointment. The place does not seem particularly busy. I believe Acrylic is advertised as $25+ however I paid $75 for this set.pricing does not seem as advertised and is quite confusing. I did shellac ombré airbrush and as I look at the nails again I’m not completely satisfied or believe this is a $75 job.even when inquiring about a basic set of acrylic with polish I believe I was quoted 50+

The service is subpar and very basic. Nail tech unfortunately did not even trim or cut my real nails or cuticles prior applying the acrylic. It almost feels like some of the nails applied are too big on some nails. I’m nervous about how my real nails will grow out as they were neglected during the process.

Overall I probably wouldn’t come back or recommend this spa to a friend. With a price of $70+ I believe this could have been better done.

Last Friday I went to do my nails here at Oscar nails after a long time not going. I wanted them to do the powder gel but but what they did for me was a nightmare.by Monday this nails all cracked the gel cracked. I paid 45 for this gel to be done on my nature nails. I am very very sad I.bday nails and turn out to be something. I even called them to go back and he said yes on Saturday but what they did is they just put a shellac colour over the cracked powder gel under and even look worse than ever

The person who did my nails didn’t speak English and couldn’t communicate to me properly. I only got my nails painted and she missed so many spots and it went on my cuticles too. It was only $20 but I could’ve done better at home.

Just coming back from this WORST place, went for a manicure (shellac), The guys calls in (no matter the rush thy will call for Money, Dont you guys value peoples time?) makes me sit around 40 mins waiting- one thing they all know to repeatedly say- CHOOSE COLOR, CHOOSE COLOUR.

I showed them the picture 100times in my cell phone what i wanted, thy did not hv the colour (telling me this after application) thy call this person who seemed like he did not have any experience, slowest ever person.he should never be given to a person who was already waiting for so long, dont you guys know tht, I WAS GUIDING THAT PERSON, and i hated it.ugh.thy should know what thy are doing.i asked him if he can speak english or french or just ask other person to do.thy were all watching me but did not attend or bother to do it as he was struggling, no courteousy what so ever. In all this time thy completed 3-4 services and i was still there, he was scraping the polish from the bottle n typed in his phone tht thy hv no such color. I m very upset.wasted my $35 totally. No LOTION applied no massage nothing. ‍️ I got this done for a occassion and wanted to go and try in a different place, my bad. Cant wait to take it out.
Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. SAVE YOUR TIME N MONEY, i give ZERO Stars

They don't speak English and do not care if they have upset the customer. Their prices are no less but services are horrible. Maybe some of the staff is good but most of them especially the owner (probably) is very indifferent. See how crooked and shabby big toe nail appears at the end of the services

They charge people confusingly they don’t communicate they only sit there look at you and talk bad about you in their language. Which is bad because it makes their customers feel uncomfortable.

They're really nice, great customer service. I got my eyebrows done at this place, and usually when I get my eyebrows done, people do it too thin, they made mine look natural. When a lady was doing my eyebrows, she didn't rush and she was very precise with what she was doing. Definitely recommend this place.

I've had several bad experiences here but have continued to go because of proximity and pricing, and because I've been given a gift certificate.
I went in most recently for an acrylic removal and a basic manicure without polish.
On three separate occasions in the 13 minutes I was in the chair, I had to either say "ouch" or pull my hand away because of how deep the technician was filing into my nail.
There was skin and nail in the cutter she pulled out. After quickly wiping it off the technician began to use it on me. This was also not wiped off or washed after I was done; the technician simply moved onto the next customer and left it at the station.
At no point did the technician wipe or brush off any of the dust covering my hands from the filing of the acrylics. Instead, for the literally 4-second portion of the manicure dedicate to a massage on each hand, three brushes of oil were put onto each hand and the oil and dustings were rubbed together on my hands, making for a very uncomfortable massage.
From my photos, you can also clearly see the acrylics weren't even completely removed from some nails.
I feel somewhat bad leaving such a negative review because of how nice the technician seemed.
My nails were filed so thinly that even putting my hand into my pocket to retrieve payment hurt badly. I had to file my nails at the ends in order to have them stop snagging on everything.
I'm leaving 2 stars because I was only charged $20 instead of the $25 I was quoted.
