We were thinking about replacing our upstairs carpet as it was worn and off colored.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly Harrison. We were shown the different styles of carpets and explained what we were looking for. You're allowed to take home the sample swatches so there could be some stock missing if someone's signed out two or three of them. My only complaint here is there is a large sample on the front and tons of small samples on the back. Hard to get a feel of how it'll look with only small samples. I know you can't keep excess stock everywhere but maybe if they kept some scrap from jobs of the most common colors and had larger samples handy it would help. They do however, have another way to get an in home view. They have an app/website where you can photograph your home and test the carpet color on that photograph/room. I found it was fairly accurate and we chose the carpet color that looked best.

You do pay for the carpet 100% in advance. We were a little off put because when do you ever pay in advance. But they do have a 100% guarantee and will even rip out the carpet and replace if with a different color if you decide you don't like it. They have such great reviews, we went ahead and booked.

We opted to rip our our own carpet out to save a little money on install. It does take some time as the edges can be a hassle but all in all it wasn't too bad. Install day came and our installers Mark and Luigi were great. They joked around with eachother and were a delight with our doggies.

When the carpet was initially brought into the house we had an "Oh NO" moment. We thought we chose too light of a color and they would have to rip it out. But, once they started installing it on the stairs the light hit differently and we both knew it was perfect. The carpet itself is thick and luscious. Feels like you're walking on clouds.

You get what you pay for 100% and we are 100% happy with the choice we made to go with carpet one. Thanks to Harrison and the team for the guidance.

The salesperson was wonderful to deal with. The installer and instillation went well. We were replacing our runner on the stairs. My reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that we paid for a template to be done as our stairs have a curve. The runner was cut to fit on the curve (see photos). You can see it doesn’t quite match up. We find the cost of the template was expensive and unnecessary.

The entire team at Carpet One was amazing to work with.
We were looking for a brand of flooring. Carpet One team didn’t give us the run around like other stores and we even the best price!

We were quoted for what we thought was our whole project, but when the installers showed up, they indicated one bedroom was left out of the dimensions. The original quote already exceeded our budget, but we went ahead with it anyways. It was made to be our fault, even though we had asked for ALL bedrooms to be done from the beginning. There was also an assumption made by the installers that could have resulted in them redoing the whole thing, but we agreed on a reasonable solution and the installers did a great job overall.
We ended up having to pay extra for the forgotten room minus a token discount.

We had a great experience from start to finish! Harrison was really great and knowledgable about choosing our carpet. The installers did a great job and were fun and respectable. Our dog had a great time trying to distract them into playing with her.

Always a friendly smile and hello when you walk into the store. Being in the floor trade and industry for 35 years, the products Carpet One are second to none. Don’t get caught up paying a little less for a big box cheaper product. Carpet One products are well worth the investment and will far outperform and look current for years to come. Top notch advice is given based on your individual needs and budget coupled with the best bang for your hard earned dollar. Many of the floor coverings are do it yourself friendly or have it professionally installed by their longtime dedicated installers. Far and away my best choice to find what I am looking for. Check the click free vinyl plank while you visit. My go to favourite for easy installation and repair ability without pulling up half your floor to get to a damaged piece. Travelled to a few carpet shops before we found exactly what we were looking for. We wanted something very plush for a home theatre.
Staff were very accommodating and helpful and understood what we were looking for. Pulled out a couple before pulling out exactly what we were looking for.
Timeline was great. The fitters turned up on time and were very courteous and did a fantastic job.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we will definitely be going back for our stairs carpet once we have decorated there.

Recently we had Oshawa Carpet One for a relatively small project in our home. From picking the carpet to installation the staff were great.
Danielle came to our home to measure and help finalize our choice and followed up after installation to insure we were satisfied. We had custom runners installed on our hardwood stairs with a templated continuous area rug on the landing between staircases.
The installers were great!
Everything went according to plan and there was good communication as to dates of measure, templating and installation. No delays, no surprises.

We chose to visit Oshawa Carpet One based on favourable comments from neighbours who had used them in the past.
We initially met with Danielle, the Design Consultant, to view and discuss carpeting and hardwood flooring materials available from Carpet One. She provided samples for us to take home to compare with our current flooring.
We had an in-home session with Danielle and Mike, the Senior Project Manager, to view our current carpeting and to discuss the pros and cons of various flooring options. They took measurements of the areas to be re-carpeted or replaced with hardwood flooring. The very next day, they emailed us quotes for three flooring options.
The quotes had a detailed breakdown of the costs of each material, the installation costs for each material, and the labour cost to remove and reset furniture. This greatly assisted in ensuring that everything we expected was included.
The installation teams for both the hardwood flooring and carpeting arrived on-time each day. They were courteous, skilled professionals. They thoroughly cleaned up the job site at the end of each day, which allowed us to use some rooms in the evening and overnight. They answered any questions that we had about the materials or installation throughout the job. And, most importantly, their workmanship was superb!

The staff at Carpet one Oshawa, special note to Danielle! - were fir nice and knowledgeable about the flooring. The floor was very easy to put down and looks amazing! People keep asking if it’s a marble floor, but it is a waterproof click flour.

This is the second time we’ve purchased from this location and if we need more flooring, we will go back there 109%!
