In the time I spent with Jeff and Taylor I have nothing but great things to say about them. They are punctual, professional along with clear and concise with and information you need. Short story: I had criminal charges and Jeffrey Smart and his team defended me during my court process. ALL thanks to Jeff and his team my 2 criminal charges were dropped and reduced to a single non criminal provincial offence upon my guilty plea to the lesser non criminal charge. The criminal charge would have hindered my career and my life. Thank God for Jeffrey Smart, Chelsea White and their team.

Long story: I got arrested and was charged with 2 criminal charges. These charges would put my career at risk and would mess up my whole entire life. I called Jeffrey Smart’s office, and to my surprise spoke with the man himself Mr Jeffrey Smart. I explained my situation and my concerns and my stress and everything I was going through to Jeff and he listened with open ears and told me the truth that he would do his very best in representing and defending me and explained to me how these charges work, and what defence I could have. I have never been criminally charged before. I retained Jeff and his offices to defend my case; best decision of my life thus far. This was a long process for me as the courts have many dates and things they have to do before a trial, but thank goodness I didn’t have to attend any of these court dates any more once I attained the legal services of Jeff. Fast forward many months a date was set for trial. During these months (and the upcoming months waiting for my trial) I had a lot of stress, and anytime I would contact Jeff or Chelsea with any questions they always gave me their time and undivided attention. They are so kind and understanding and always helped me out and explained what I needed to hear whether it was what I wanted to hear or not. Fast forward a little later (this call was before my trial) I got the best call of my life from Jeff that my charges would be dropped if I made a guilty plea to a lesser non criminal offence. Duh! I made the plea, didn’t have to go to trial, had my criminal charges dropped and have been bettering myself and living a great accomplishing life since. Smart Lawyers found the defence on my case which got my charges dropped. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Jeff, Chelsea and the team. Love you all!

Dealing with this law office is effortless, they answer all questions and make a stressful time, less stressful. Chelsea is wonderful and always there to answer your questions within a timely manner. Also would like to mention that Jeffrey is a great lawyer and has great rates!

Jeff never listened to me as a client he continued to quote police statements back at me like I was just a pay check to him. He tried to get me to plead quilty before any proof had been established from the crown. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone.

I won’t recommend, make sure talk to them properly before you pay. They are smart of make you to plea guilty so don’t spend money for no reason.
