A smaller store with great staff! Can't remember the last time I received service like this in a name brand department store.

I don't know the gentleman's name who helped me with my plumbing issue, they didn't have the part but he went above and beyond to provide me with a display model. Thanks!

Used as a pickup for Ikea, who lists the closing hour as 21: 00. However, the store closes at 18: 00, which makes it extremely difficult for us to coordinate pickup.

We went to Home Hardware to get some ideas for a kitchen and thanks to Nardeen’s help we have our dream kitchen. Nardeen showed us many options within our budget and designed a kitchen we loved from the drawing and even more once they were installed. Every time we walk into the new space, we are blown away. Nardeen’s attention to detail because she asked all the right questions which led to her understanding what we needed. The cabinets are high quality and sturdy. We highly recommend using Nardeen and the team at Oshawa East Home Hardware for any design projects.

I ordered a handful of items here 3.5 weeks ago (items that were in-stock at the store) and have been to the store 3 times. I have received 2 emails that my order was ready. The first time only half my order was ready so they gave me those items and told me to wait for another email. 9 days later another email comes in saying my order is ready so I wait in line at the store for an hour, only to have the lady tell me that they canceled my order and I will receive a refund, and to wait for the email. The staff were panicked and unorganized.

When I log onto the home hardware site it shows my order is "complete" as in I have picked everything up. So I have been charged the full amount for only half my items.

I called and emailed customer service but they ignored my problem and transferred my call to the store, who sends me straight to voicemail, (inbox full). I am still waiting on a solution to get my money back but likely wont get one.

I suggest if you need odds and ends or hardware go to Kingsway Hardware in Courtice. They always have what you need and are helpful and FAST. The opposite of this store.

If your needs are anything automotive related try partsource.order online and get it same day. Simple and convenient

Sadly they didn't have the item I was looking for. Gave me a rain check. Told me it would be in on the next truck (3 days). Have stood in line twice now totalling an hour of my time. Tried calling a few times and they won't even answer the phone, goes to voice mail - that right there is poor service. Guess I have to stand in line again to be told it's still not there? Would be nice to get a simple quick answer.

I went to this HH to have a key cut for my 2009 Pontiac SV6. The gentleman who cut the key took the utmost care to set up the original and the blank to assure the best possible cut. I knew he was a little nervous about doing as HH could not be responsible for an inoperable key. I said go ahead as I knew how the new key was to be programmed. Well, the cut was perfect as it slid into the ignition better than my original. Programming was no problem and now I have a fully functioning duplicate key. Thank you HH for your caring service.

Great store. When all others are doing curb side this store set up a walk up outside to serve customers. Great store, great customer service and lots of inventory. They are really going above and beyond in this crazy time.

Great place for gardening idea's. This store is very unique, with layout, as well as stock! Clean and very helpful staff. Just a bit pricy! The only downfall.

I had good experience here before, but I went again and the associate named Heather was clueless I brought the part I needed with me she took the part with her into the store and brought me the attachment, I paid and realized it was the wrong part altogether she proceeded to tell that they were not doing returns.back to the big box stores for me. I won't even go into how she offended the black gentleman that was also waiting for service. #super disappointed

Very well stocked store and very helpful staff. We're lucky to have this store in our neighborhood.

Unfortunately my experience has been frustrating. I chose this location as all my items showed in stock when I went online to place my order. I live 25min away so driving up and ordering is not ideal. I am trying to support local Canadian businesses but waiting 2 weeks for an order is really frustrating when I know other stores have orders ready in 3 or 4 days. I realize staff are doing their best however I am also a paying customer doing my best to be patient as I wait for my order.

This location has the nicest people working here! And they carry beautiful garden/patio accessories

Didn't know it was there. Somebody told me about it. The store is great. People that work there are very helpful and friendly. They seem to have everything.

I received outstanding service today, I dealt with Teresa both over the phone and in person, and each time she was polite, very friendly, and went over and above to help me out. I purchased a berry picker for my mom, it was a small purchase but the transaction was painless
I work in retail and I understand the challenges that we face sometimes especially during these times.
