Oshawa Ultrasound Diagnostic Services

The female ultrasound tech I had here was so incredibly rude and judgemental. She made comments about how long it had been since I got checked (even though my doctor never told me to) and was basically shaming me. In no way is that any of her business. While she was doing the ultrasound she mumbled “wow wow wow” under her breath and so obviously I think something is really wrong with me. I anxiously waited for my doctor to call me with results just for them to inform me everything was fine. It is not her job to make comments and scare people. This women also really pushed that I should be going to the same ultrasound place and to go back there, as if I would ever go back after how she treated me.

I have done my wife's ultrasound here for the first time. Then my doctor requested for the 13th week ultrasound, when i called to book for the 13th week one, she told me that this is too early to do the ultrasound so they got us booked on 14th-15th week whereas it was compulsory for us to do the test on 13th week. When I got the call from our doctor and told her about this, she was also surprised how can the clinic postpone and decide when the doctor has already suggested to do this on 13th week.

Later, we called again and had the ultrasound done in a very short time of period. Thanks to the other accommodating receptionist.

Now, we called today again for 19-20th week ultrasound. We just met our OBG yesterday and he confirmed that the ultrasound has to be done next week which will be end of 19th and beginning of 20th. Again, the same receptionist told us, its too early for us to measure. I said, this is the same thing happened last time and we almost missed our 13th week test because of this. If the OBG said it has to be done on next week, please do. If you have any trouble reading the measurements, we will revisit. Our prime is the OBG, not ultrasound clinic. When i explained the previous situation and asked for appointment, she said "YOU ARE BEING VERY LOUD. HELLO HELLO HELLO. WE WILL NOT SERVE YOU WITH THIS BEHAVIOUR"! What? Everytime I call you guys, i can not take this same drama of "Oh, you can not do this this time". What are the doctors there for then?

Absolutely not going back and will tell everyone about it too. Only one person is enough to make bad impression on a place.

I have had a series of ultrasound done before, but never as pleasant and fun like the session I had with Lana today. It felt like she held the time. 1 hr with her felt like 5 minutes. Her happiness is contagious and the way she plays with the baby for positioning, omg. I wish I could have her throughout my journey. Lana is the best ultrasound tech I have ever met. Thank you Lana.

To start, I am 31 weeks pregnant. I wanted to love this place and had high hopes based on reviews. My visit was just okay. The tech didn't seem like she overly knew what she was doing. At the end she said " I think we're done ". I went to sit up and she said "wait maybe not. ". So I laid back down and then she said " ya okay nevermind we are done. " This had me leaving with a very uncertain feeling.

The next day I get a call from the receptionist telling me the radiologist there wants me to immediately to go labour and delivery. I said okay but is everything okay? She said you just need to go. And I said well can you tell me what's wrong and she said she can't. I said well you're telling me to go to the hospital so I know something is wrong but you can't tell me what? She said I can come pick up the report. I was working and she said my husband could come. Okay.so let me get this right.you can't verbally tell me but someone can come pick it up? What is the difference? He went to pick it up and same thing, she told him we need to go right there. Of course we are beyond stressed at this point.

We go to labour and delivery and the doctor looks at the results and said why are you here? I said because we were sent by this place in a panic. She said she why? Your results are perfectly normal. The doctor went through every single result and said go home, your pregnancy is perfect.

SO moral of the story, the report said my cervix was short. Doctor said it's totally normal. This place should NOT be telling people they need to rush to the hospital and diagnosing false information. I have been told to file a report for causing my husband and I unnecessary stress and I might just do that.

Do not go here.

Would strongly recommend this clinic for ultrasounds. They have great technicians and staff. I had a couple of my scans done here and they were professional and perfectly did the scan.
The receptionist is the best! She is extremely responsive, makes sure she finds you a spot on the appointment list, she also recommend a related scan to be done which was missed out by my doctor.
Clean & tidy place.
Will be going here for any future scans.

I’ve had 2 pregnancy ultrasound at this centre and I’ve had so far a good experience. The first technician was a respectful man and he was thorough in the examination (anatomy ultrasound), my second testing was with Lana, very candid and easy going person, knowledgeable and makes the whole experience to be fun (including the family) she takes her time to do a good examination and until she’s not happy with the images she needs to get she won’t let you go. We got great pictures of our baby! Very happy about the experience

Lana was amazing when doing my Anatomy scan. She not only made me feel comfortable but she took her time with me and made sure that everything was done correctly. My baby was not co-operating and kept moving but Lana was so patience with me and helped make this experience so enjoyable.

Lana is a true gem in a world where bedside manner is not always the greatest. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. When we were attempting to learn the gender of our baby, despite our best efforts, babe was not cooperating, but Lana made time for us at the end of the day to ensure we had the answer we needed as we were surprising my family the following day. Grateful to have had a human experience in a clinical world, thanks to Lana.

Amazing friendly staff and free parking. Kattia is amazing, she always tries to get me in as soon as she can. She's great over the phone and in person. Never too busy so you're always in and out.

Amazing service. I have had a couple of ultrasounds at this center and my experience has been wonderful so far. The receptionist and all the technicians are kind and thorough. The receptionists always call you back if you leave them a msg, and try to schedule you at the earliest. The appointments are always on time and without any hassle.
Doctors who do the ultrasound especially Mansoura and Lana are amazing. They walk you through every step of the ultrasound and take their time to get the ultrasound done.
Highly recommend to anyone looking to get their ultrasound done in Oshawa or the Durham region.

We met with Lana today and she was The Best Ultrasound Tech we have seen yet. She is so nice, so caring and really treats you like a human being. She makes you feel at ease. We are so lucky to have had her today also the receptionists we have spoken to and seen are super nice to us, everything's always on time too. I got my 32 week ultrasound in this location. The technician and staff were professional and accommodating. They also allowed my partner in the ultrasound which is a plus.

We visited last week got an appointment scheduled very quick and the front desk staff here is very
friendly, kind and accommodative. Front office Sahaba and Kattia are very understandable and always ready to listen and help. Igor on the technical front is very professional with his service.

Overall, a great team and will recommend this place for sure.

The people here are awesome. The wonderful woman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful. I needed to get my son seen for an ultra sound and wasn't sure if he needed an appointment or could just walk in. One phone call to her and she verified, through a scan of the requisition, what he needed to do to prepare for the test and what to bring with him. I am so appreciative of her knowledge and that she took the time to call me personally to confirm the details.

Our first experience was awesome. Friendly staff and a nice clean location inside the building. Our ultrasound tech was absolutely amazing; she/he was pleasant and explained everything she/he was doing. The appointment was a breeze as they kept us informed of all that they were doing. They also have a way to get access to your scans after the appointment, it costs $5, but atleast you have all those cute memories of your child. This is my second pregnancy and I had the most lovely experience with the technician. She was so warm, kept me informed (considering I was in discomfort with a full bladder) and she truly showed that she cared. I truly loved my experience and I will absolutely recommend everyone for any imaging request to go to Oshawa Ultrasound and I’m coming back for future ultrasounds

I love this place. The best place to ever get ultrasound. She was very gentle w me and barely felt anything. Comparing to other places I've gone too which I feel the painful penetrations. Pleasant experience for an uncomfortable procedure. Online booking was fast and easy. Staff is professional and kind. Clinic is very clean. The tech explained every step of the procedure. Free parking is an added bonus.

Easy to locate, was able to get an appointment within 1 week. Booking process was simple, appointment was on time and efficient. Staff and technicians were very kind and friendly, answered any questions I had and made me feel comfortable. Printed sonogram photos for me to take home. Definitely recommend!

Excellent Experience - Booked an appt for my 3month ultrasound as per the positive reviews and was not let down. I have had a vast many ultrasounds in my life and I have to say that I am so happy I found this place. The staff here have been outstanding from the receptionist being so lovely and my tech was outstanding. She was incredibly kind and caring and I have never felt so comfortable having an ultrasound like I had. Just simply amazing and I think I will always come here from now on. My ultrasound tech was absolutely amazing. My anxiety has been pretty high through this pregnancy and she definitely made me feel calm. I was referred here by another friend and i would definitely refer others!

Great experience with this centre.
They had me in and out as fast as possible and took all covid measures very seriously. Make sure to book an appointment in advance since they are only open on Tuesday and Thursday now.

Had my ultrasound there recently and it was great got in quickly, staff was really good and very polite. Will def go there again if needed.

My experience at this clinic, from booking the appointment to having my ultrasound done, was extremely professional and pleasant. I felt very comfortable during the ultrasound and my results were sent to my doctor the same day.
