This place is so amazing, I have not been yet, but only cause of transportation and I live 90 mins away but will definitely be getting the season pass for sure. $32 for a season pass is incredible, especially since I'm sure it helps feed these special animals. I will be here 2-4 times a month once I have car nothing but good reviews and great animals some or all rescues.spend your money where it counts, this place sure ticks all boxes

What a joke you are… First of all, fumbling the handling and transporting of a kangaroo at this time of year for another (probably unlicensed zoo). Where else, but Quebec! Second, your inept staff member who publicly refers to himself as a “park ranger” refers to the animal consistently as “it”. Not surprising! You should be shut down! Disgraceful display of animal exploitation…. Anything for money, right?

Love visiting. Such a cute place and very sweet to visit and feed the animals. Just wish they had a hand washing station at the very end since some of the animals are very slobbery lol!

The Oshawa Zoo is the perfect size; small enough that you can walk the whole zoo in an hour and a half comfortably and big enough that your little ones can run around safely and freely without getting bored. I took my almost 2 year old and one month old in her stroller. The scenery is beautiful! The staff is so friendly, helpful and seem to love their jobs. They do outreach with the local high school which is incredible; the shop students designed and built some of the enclosures. This is also a rescue zoo so many of the animals are rescues from other zoos. There is a great place to eat with fair prices and the parking is free! $32 for a seasons pass for adults is well worth it and kids 2 and under are free. We love this place!

It was good time spent there. The zoo is perfect for young kids between ages 1 to 10. Older kids can enjoy too but mostly I saw younger ones getting all excited upon see the animals. Best part of the zoo is that you can bring in your own food and drinks and lots of benches and trees shade that make it so relaxing and can take a break from time to time. Moreover, the zoo was very much clean and no litter policy. We also saw a birthday party going on at the zoo which was nicely set up. It was overall a wonderful experience and will go there again with my kids.

Small little farm with lots of animals, chicken, ducks, dogs, goats, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, horses, emu, even kangaroos but didn’t see koalas. Not a big farm but there are tables and chairs for you to eat or drink too

It needs slides games more candy, and foods. Otherwise great place to be to pet and feed various types of animals it was a pleasant experience.

I have mixed feelings when it comes to wild animals in captivity, but still will rate this as a four star as I understand that takes a lot of effort to maintain a small farm/zoo like this.

Absolutely the best little zoo around!
The staff are super friendly, and the animals are very well taken care of. This is our 4th year with a seasons pass!

Such a wonderful little zoo where you can release your littles to let them run around and explore. The large fenced in area gives parents comfort with knowing they are safe wondering around. Buy some popcorn and let them feed the animals! My son (who's 3) just loved it there, especially the pony rides! I bought a season pass so we can go back! A great way to spend afew hours with your kids! Highly recommend

A hidden gem in Oshawa! What a great experience. You get up close and personal with these animals, and they are so friendly and gentle if eating popcorn from your hand. Pony ride was great. Was surprised to see some animals there like kangaroos, ostriches, and others. Will definitely be back to visit. Well worth the trip.

If you live near by, this is a great place for kids to pet/feed animals. It's especially good for younger kids, since everything is close by and there's minimal walking (compared to Toronto zoo). However the diversity of animals is far less than the Toronto zoo of course, it's more like a farm than a zoo.
