Osmow's Shawarma

Been going there for a while.as they have gotten busier, the care needed to pepare food has declined hence the quality of food has declined a little. The same shawarma tastes different each time.

I decided to try out this location as I really enjoyed the other locations. I found this spot to be just as good and fresh. The food was made quickly and the staff were friendly. The bus is good There are washrooms inside as well. I enjoyed the food and would come again.

Waited 10 minutes for the cashier to be ready to take our order for them to tell us only then that they were only taking cash at the moment. There could have been some sign posted or they could have told us once we entered. There were only our group of 3 and 2 other people in the restaurant.

Placed an order today 3 out of 4 items incorrect. Cold, prepared improperly and missed item.

When I phoned to have it addressed they would not refund my money nor replace it. They offered for me to pick up (original was deliver). Would not take my number to have manager call me back.

Beyond disappointed. I put the whole thing in the garbage! I have been here many times and this was so gross and disappointing.
So many great places to order from - so choose a place that will stand behind their product.

I ordered two large chicken on the rock with extra chicken and fries for takeout. There were two bones in it. One of the bone was very sharp it went inside and it start bleeding, now i am not able to eat, because of spicy sauce. I thought osmows have boneless, but this is so disappointing.

What HAPPEND? I've been coming to this location for 2 years, all of the sudden chicken on the rocks has some very hard bits in it, im not sure if it's bones or uncooked rice. It just ruins the whole meal and hurt my teeth it happend 3 times so it's definitely not a one time thing please fix this.

Long wait for food, got our order incorrect, and the bread broke inside the wrap. Other than that, food was mediocre.

Have been a regular at this location for about a year now, today my wife and I both ordered the super lamb wraps. When they were served, 1 of them was 1/2 the size and 1/2 the weight of the other.when I asked about the difference they told me the toppings created the difference.

Dhruv filled up the Ozbox with mad love and crushed it on the falafel. Definitely recommend.

Also the music was fire

Called in nicely at first to ask if they could just make a fresh order for me for I ordered on door dash and was some sort of problem and my food was sitting for an hour and the driver hasn't picked it up. So I just tell the employee what happened and he can't seem to make a fresh one, was willing to serve to the public a meal that was sitting in front of him for an hour cold and soggy. His response was it is a door dash problem. So osmows is willing to hand out food sitting for an hour and feel fine about it. I asked the employee if he would eat it and he wouldn't answer, yet he was willing to give it to a paying customer. This is beyond terrible costumer service. To watch as food sits there for an hour and still feel good about serving it is disgusting.

I went all the way their for chicken on the rocks and they provided just garlic sauce and not even enough, I specifically said hot sauce and garlic and tahini and extra hot no sauces, very bad place to eat please go any other osmows not this.

Ordered online 2 seperate orders for pick up.
When I arrived one was ready and one was not. After 5 minutes after my pick up time I inquired where my order was. I was told it would be another 5 minutes. I patiently watched 4 other customers walk in, order and receive their food as I still waited. Eventually, 15 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready for pick up I receive my food.
During this entire time I watched all 3 staff members wearing the same pair of gloves as they handled cash, touched food, touched refrigerators. No matter what they did they wore the same gloves. I was disgusted and walked out.

The staff was so nice she gave extra souce on fries with chili as requested in high volume of people waiting. Chicken wrap was really good but lamb was just ok

Called Toronto public health on this establishment. Their staff is not trained in food preparation and proper sanitation. They never wash their hands and wear gloves they never change.

I have been ordering here since the pandemic. Great value for the money spent. Portions are huge, quality is really good. Very tasty, I am extremely satisfied with the food preparation and service at this location.

The chicken in Shawarma was very well cooked. They also offer multiple spice level for different taste palates. The highest spice level is scorching hot even for my Indian taste palate. Overall, very flavourful chicken plate.

Additionally, their menu appears very confusing to me with too many options. I would suggest to go through the menu before going at the place to avoid any confusion.

Had Osmos last night. Ordered medium spicy, got the thing so hot that I had to throw it out after 3-4 bites.
Had to rush to hospital the next day because of upset stomach. Never going back. Do not recommend this location.

Overall food taste is good and quantity of food is good as per the price. Keep it up the good work

Good taste of falafel wrap. They serve chicken shawarma wrap too. Regular one was ok with me. You can order wrap based on size of wrap and hunger need you have. Overall enjoyed the taste of falafel and was mildly spiced. Quite liked the portion and taste of it. Small sitting area housing 10-15 guys at the same time. Service was fast and efficient. Loved the place too.

Used to be a very regular customer and spent a lot of money there. It was a 5 Star place. Meals used to be prepared with care but the last couple of months the standards have dropped and I end up with an unappealing meal just slopped without any concern for presentation into a takeout container. Too bad.

One of the best restaurants in GTA. I ordered chicken on the rocks yesterday and every bite of chicken with white sauce melted in my mouth and the freshness of the food that me felt amazing.

The most important that I feel about this restaurant is excellent customer service, they treat all customers so well with their calmness and politeness.

Rocks

I used to have a review with 5 stars a few months ago but then after it just went downhill as people stated in previous reviews. Disappointed. Got a large chicken on the rocks pretty much have of it had chicken and half didn't, on top of that the chicken tastes too dry. I also got phillys veggies on the rocks and the mushrooms tasted too old and were stingy on the rice on mine. Rice doesn't even cost that much. We spend $24 dolla5rs or more on our food and pretty much got half of what we usually get from the Osmows we usally go to. Never going back. Reccomend the owsmows near Cawthra and Lakeshore.

ALWAYS check your order before leaving this location. 4/5 orders are missing components. The food is typically excellent - when the right food is in the bag to actually eat - but, I've finally decided that it isn't worth the stress or disappointment anymore. We won't be returning to this restaurant again, unfortunately.

The staff is very nice and have wonderful customer service. The food is prepared carefully and good everytime I came there. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Today is evening Dec/28th 2020 and For the first time i Tried having a beef shawarma wrap at this location and I could tell this is a worst shawarma i ever had in my life! Beef was super cold and taste like a plastic, ll never come back here and any other Osmow’s franchise ever again! Very.disappointed, waste of money.

Sorry to say! Very disappointed! Cold.no tabouli, fallafel plate served without hummus, no pita. I mean I could go on. I will not be recommending or going back.

The staff is really nice and takes care of the customer's needs.
The quantity provided was more than expected.
Definitely a place to hop in if you are in west toronto!

Tasty. A bit heavy on the sauce but nothing an order change cannot change. I'd say the chicken is better than the beef but they give you lots of options. The Philly cheese steak is untraditional but delicious

I always have a good experience whenever I come to this Osmow’s. The stuff and manager are good-natured. The food I always order is poutine and it’s delicious. Overall, good service and good food.

Amon/amaran (not sure if she is the manager) the manger, is the most cordial, amicable and the most benevolent manager I have ever come across. The hospitality at Osmow's is beyond this world. The employees at Osmow are affable. The good factors that has contributed to my positive experience at Osmow's is that my sister has a very intricate order when it comes to their chicken poutine. To see how the employees go above and beyond on my sister's order shows how hard they try to understand your needs and meet your expectations! I, on the other hand, loved how the employees gave me extra sauce on the side and not to mention how good their chicken poutine tasted. Well done!

I really really didn’t like my food. It was bland with huge chunks of green peppers and a boatload of lettuce. Had the shishtouk wrap with fries. A very disappointing meal.

Every osmows ive tried is different, they have some good ones and other bad ones. This is a bad once since they dont have the finesse with cooking there chicken. I ordered a chicken shawarma and recived very little chicken and tons of lettuce and veggies. I for a second thought I had a veggie order like another comment stated. I also didnt like the lack of sauce in my order. I suggest you to another osmows that knows how to cook chicken better and give more meat in the wraps. Lastly the chicken tasted less flavourful than other osmows.

The food is simply disgusting. The chicken was dry and tasteless. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Actually it was my second attempt to try Osmow's meal and I regret coming there.

Had the falafel platter. The sides were good but the falafel were like boat anchors, too hard and very dry. I will give them another try but going to try shawarma which looked good.

My nephew treated me to this food. It was delicious. I enjoyed the rice with chicken and the pineapple and the Greek salad The baklava was also tasty

Osmow's is very different than the usual Shawarma; with delicious sauces & plenty of options to choose from (fries, salad, lamb/beef/chk, spice level, vegetarian etc). Chicken Shawarma plate & Sandwich were both very good. Philly Chicken Sandwich was very nice as well & Falafel Platter was great with freshly cooked Falafels. Expensive but prices on par with other Shawarma brands.

Shawarmas are usually all the same with the sauces making up all the taste. At Osmow's, the texture of the meat is different than regular shawarma, the sauces have their unique taste and the sandwich is humongous.

Beware: Its very difficult to control the sandwiches because of their huge size, tons of meat and sauces flowing all over. You either become a messy eater or eat sandwich with a fork! Its difficult to even pepare one which is why half of them end up broken & irating people who want it in single piece with evenly spread sauces. Maybe cutting them into 2 or 3 pieces will help.

The only complaint is Baklawa. It was the worst Baklawa we have had. Not fresh & all soggy. Not worth giving them a bad rating since they are not a sweet shop. But my suggestion is to take it off the menu so it does not make them look bad.

Got uber eats from here.very disappointed.pita is thin, flat, hard, and served cold.shawarma had fried onions in it (first time this has happened at osmows). Garlic sauce has barely any garlic taste, rice was over cooked.just a generally unpleasant meal and would not order here again.

Worst restaurant ever. I ordered a veggie wrap and all i got was a wrap filled with sauce and peoroni. Sauce was all over the place, there was so much sauce in it that even the delivery bag was covered in sauce as sauce was leaking from the wrap.

First time ordering from this location. I ordered a chicken shwarma plate and ended up biting into a bone. My tooth ended up shifting in my mouth, all I could taste was blood, and I ended up spending my night in the ER.

I really liked the food when this place opened. Live right next door too.but about 4 months ago I got a chicken wrap. 2-3 bites in I bite into a HUGE BOLT! It was rusty and bent up and the worst part was it chipped my tooth. I did a U-turn went back inside to tell them. The lady in the front was shocked and really had nothing to say other then "we will make you a new one and grab a free drink". She said it must have been from the chicken machine. I didnt wanna start a problem so just left. At the time i didnt notice my tooth chipped and now that i do I don't no what to do. I have not gone back since. I have a picture of the bolt in my sandwich to. Months later and this is still bugging me. Please watch what you eat at their locations. I may take further measure with this franchise to at least compensate for my tooth.

Reason number One, I don't go to restaurant that you can't use the bathroom. It's a reflection of how welcomed you really are. I'm more worried about getting covid from the food then for the toilet.

The portion of chicken is so small I taught it was a vegetarian order, with all that lettuce. It's over hyped and over priced. Soon people will become wise to what they're really selling. Funny part was I got the large chicken shawarma. $10 almost chicken salad wrap.

When it comes to food, I think the place is good and you get a considerable amount of money for relative low rates. What I consider a major issue on this location is the lack of attention to detail. I have ordered multiple times through UberEats, calling ahead and coming in, and there is one issue that baffles me. Out of 10 times they miss an ingredient 6 times, in my case, pickles. Next time they ask me my name for the order I'll just say my name is "Pickles", so they don't forget my pickles for the 7th time in a row.

Legit eating a so called “beef on the stix” the fires are good but this beef is literally like chewing gum

They don’t listen to how the customer orders. I specifically ordered a salad not a soup of sauce. I also didn’t have any say as it was “preprepared” and already done. When a customer asks for sauce on the side, please listen and adhere. There was an allergy request which is why I said “no dressing” yet they had preprepared it and smeared it on regardless. Waste of money if I cannot eat it due to lack of care from your employees.

This is one of the best shawarma in Etobicoke. It's enough for 2 yummy and the hot sauces are incredible.

Food was tasty but not for long, unfortunately poor preparation etiquette turned me off from eating my food: (found a hair. Not cool! Refund was issued with no problem though.

Disgusting conditions. You can see hand prints all over the pop fridge doors and all over debit machine. Very dirty conditions for a popular take out (skip the dishes and other delivery options) AVOID

Was busy however order was fulfilled efficiently and accurately.however the beef on the rocks had a lot of pieces of fat/tough meat that wasn't edible due to not being rendered or over cooked

I don't understand how could it be difficult to spread the sauces all over the wrap. I told them to put extra garlic sauce and hummus, but there wasn't even regular amounts of the sauces. Moreover, the tiny amounts of sauces were at one spot only. Initially I figured, when I almost finished half it, that the wrap was completely dry. I came to realize that there are sauces in it but in only last bite. It was all at the same spot. I ordered six falafel shawarmas and all of them were like this. Very bad experience once again. I faced similar issue once before but I thought mistake happens, but again and again? !

Ordered on door dash and it tasted alright. Problem I had was I clicked medium spicy (middle option out of the 5 levels) and it came out incredibly hot. I can handle a decent level of spice but I had to throw away most of this because of the spice. Otherwise chicken and rice tasted fine, nothing special.

Tried this new place near home in Etobicoke, we have also tried the Meadowvale Area and near Durham Colleges, generally good food and price not bad, this Etobicoke place needs a little more better in comparison of the other 2 places. Aside on that, last Tuesday, March 24,2020, at about 4 pm. I bought chicken on the rox, spice on side for my daughter who eats a lot in Oshawa Osmow's. She took half ate, then fridge then ate SOME half, which taste funny, throw it out, got tummy ache and got dizzy, thought of food poisoning. She told me today, she looks fine but told me not to go again to your place. Please check good items regularly, contamination can occur anytime, I once work in the Kitchen at Valhalla Inn.

Ever since the first time I have been at this location I can't stop coming for more. The staff is very nice even when it's busy and the food is delicious

This place is well-known and hyped up for all the right reasons. Their prices are reasonable, portions are big and they are not cheap with the amount of meat they put into your food. Along with the food, the service is good and people are friendly. Overall, good experience and happy with this place. I would also recommend trying to mix chicken and beef if you like.

Great place to get some shawarma wraps also the drinks are on the left side and the right side is where you order food and pay for drinks. When they call your name that's your order. I highly recommend people try this place out

My girlfriend and I finally got around to trying this place. I enjoy a goof falafel but not this. First off it took about 20 minutes to get our food as we watched other people come in place their order and get their food. My girlfriend asked for nothing hot but hers was hotter than mine and I asked for a little spice. Perhaps it will get better with time

This is a relatively new branch of Osmow's. It is close to our home, and a favorite for our takeout dinner evenings. The food is healthy Mediterranean, and Halal (if you are looking for a Halal option). It offers various spice levels, going all the way to "SUICIDE". Be careful what you ask for!

The staff is friendly and efficient. A limited seating capacity is available if you would like to eat at the restaurant. However, due to an open kitchen and small restaurant space, dining in can cause food smell to get into your clothes.

Visited this Osmows location for the first time and it was worth coming this place as the food and staff was really satisfactory.

Amazing food as well as friendly and cooperative staff. Loved the way they serve food with great empathy.

Asked for all the fixings on take out. No onions, no garlic sauce no pickled turnips. Very unfortunate experience for a shawarma plate.

My favorite Osmows location. Did is just better prepared, flavorful and moist. Had the chicken on the rox meal, so can't vouch for the rest of the menu, but I'd imagine everything else is just as good.

Excellent. Please do not change the way you do things. Other restaurants have ruined chicken on the rocks and sticks by pushing the meat on one side and sauce on the carbs. Please, stay the same, don’t conform to the other locations that’s trying to save money from your loyal Osmows customers

I've tasted way better osmos in different locations. Quantity of the toppings are less and the hot sauce taste so weird. They didn't even toast the wrap properly. Wouldn't recommend this location.

Huge portions and reasonable prices mean we can get a platter each and have 2 meals from it. Good food, good service.

This is an amazing location. The food was really and good and the service was splendid. The location was very clean and the food came out quickly.

Love their fattouch salad. The portions are great. Although it isn't cheap for my family of 5, we are always guaranteed leftovers.

Starts off with great service ordering. It displays on a screen your topping options, which makes it easy. Reasonable prices, clean and our order was ready fast. The picture is of the supreme size beyond meat falafel, absolutely delicious. I chose little spice but still was too spicy for me. Yet, I couldn't wait to take another bite! Alot of other veggie options. Lots of parking. Overall I really enjoyed the experience. Family friendly.

Been here 3 times for lunch this week.it's alright and would give a 4 star.platters is a bit pricy, but they got daily special items to choose everyday for cheaper price.

Reason for 2 star: cross-contamination! When i am waiting for my chicken shawarma lady behind the counter took handful of raw seasoned beef to cook and turns around start making my food, touching veges and sauce bottle, rolling my shawarma.disgusting!
