Osmow's Shawarma

Ordered through Uber and asked for extra sauce on the side, but they decided to load up my plate with sauce
Asked for extra sumac but didn't even get the regular
Food is no doubt good, but it is pretty messed.

Recently moved to the area. Move day we ordered dinner it was delicious. But the last 2 visits were not so great. The one issue. I asked for extra sauce and wow did they add a ridiculous amount. I chalked that up as my fault. Than customer appreciation day, we didn't ask for extra sauce and what we received was just gross. It was like soup.

Their food is so damnnn good…as i like their philly chicken so much u all should tryy it too….

This is one of the best Osmow's I've been to. Its close to my home and can get my lunch/dinner from this place anytime. The best thing is the taste is consistent, which according to me is what every franchise restaurant should thrive for.

The place is dirty and unkept. I ordered a wrap and as I was eating it home, I felt something sharp in my mouth. I stopped chewing and proceeded to remove a finger nail from my mouth. Needless to say, the wrap ended up in the garbage. To add insult to injury, my partner and I had horrible stomach pains that night.

Friendly staff and great food today but dining in couldn't be done! I started eating and all the sweat started falling in my food. I don't know why the air conditioning wasn't on, especially a day like today.

The best shawarma joint in all of Canada. I've been to many other shawarma places and this is 100% the best one. Wide variety of choices and very modernized store. Will come back again!

Ordered a chicken on half and half medium for my lunch break today and noticed that the enploy was giving chicken from the one stored I the tins which is not fresh at all. Also the fries were not fresh at all. Very disappointed. Other osmows in stoney creek never had this issue. This location saves money by not serving fresh food. Fries and chicken should from the stove/grill and fryer.

I ordered medium chicken on the rocks, the chicken is not even fully cooked and it looks like it is not even fresh. It was dinner for me and now everything is closed. I was a regular customer at the restaurant until now. I guess I will never be visiting again.

Amazing workers best food, the people are so nice and if you got a weird order they work with you however they can, so kind and the food, great taste looks amazing as well, had humaira as my server today, and just loved her, very sweet and very friendly, definitely coming back here, try it out for sure, they also have vegan options! So don't walk, run.

Visited this place three weeks ago. Asked for two beef shawarma combos + an extra salad. Approximately $31 with a tip.

A younger guy was very unprofessional.
He kept handling the food with the same gloves when he was pouring hummus into containers, making orders on the cashier’s register screen and loading the pita with the toppings.
He was also scratching his face. Not once he was warned by the senior guy but I guess they are busy and have no time to react to the silliness of it. We left without eating or asking for the refund. Will never go back to Osmow’s.

Osmow’s should train their ppl properly and make them wear clean uniforms. All workers should have a food handlers certificate if not dietary aide diploma. You’re dealing with food. Be serious, there’s no room for mistakes here. And please clean up after the sit in customers leave.

I was so disappointed, I wasted my money for a Philly chicken wrap which usually comes with garlic sauce although there was no garlic in it even I told the girl to put medium spice in it. There was no hot sauce in it as well. Just little Philly sauce that’ll.

It's one of the best or the best shawarma place in Canada. You will get the great experience of modern Mediterranean

So disappointing visited second day in a row! And without even asking for the order they just said they don’t have chicken.i’m just thinking why even they are open if they can’t even provide service really disappointed in the place will never visit this location ever again

3rd Strike

Didn't even get my food this time - was going to try the lamb. Stood around for my entire lunch break waiting, after 20min I had to get my money back and leave. 3 guys working are either untrained, lazy, or incompetent, was not busy.

Time before - mixed up simple order, missed the salad completely, beef was dry as my leather sandal and hard to chew even if soaked in sauce.

Time before that - chicken on the rocks was so bad had to give to the dog.

Always loved Osmos, something at this location is seriously off though.

Giving a 3 but was not happy with my last visit. Fiancé and me have been coming to this location for over a year. We always get a 2 can dine special they have which includes 1 chicken shawarma wrap, & 1 chicken shawarma on the rocks, we have ordered this combo probably 20 times. Came in tonight to place our usual order and the cashier said they did not have that. I asked if they stopped the deal and the employee became very rude, claimed he’s worked there for 2 years and they have never had that deal? Which was obviously a lie. I would have ordered something else, but they were so unprofessional I left and went somewhere else. Not sure if I’ll be back, which is too bad because we came here very often and it’s been good.

If I could I would give this place of zero.

First occasion:
first time I was there the cook with making food and I noticed that he was also eating from the food he was preparing.
I called him out and he said that it was for him. Either way it doesn’t matter taste your food when you sit down and eat, not in the food prep area.
Second occasion 6 months apart:
I have been vegan for many years and I asked for their beyond meat with rice. As the cook was preparing my food I walked up to look at the grill and they were cooking my beyond meat with chicken which is absolutely a no.
You cannot promote vegan and be cooking vegan meats on the same grill as the chicken.
I called the chef out and he said that they cleaned the grill l.that’s not enough. A separate grill must be used for vegan promotion. I went to another Osmow‘s and I asked the chef if they used a separate grill for the meat and the meat alternatives and he said that they do so I really don’t understand why one place has it while the other doesn’t. I will never eat from this location again

Today I have visited this place and I had the best shawarma. I have ordered chicken on the rocks and beyond meat wrap, and it was super tasty. The customer service was great. I will recommend this place. Thankyou

I really in joyed the chicken shawarma i got it extra spicy but was worth it really fresh great service on the other hand the steak is not worth it they use cheap steak over all i'm done with osmows won't be going back food has really changed

This is the second time we have ordered from this location around 9pm and both times they were out of beef option. THIS IS TERRIBLE. I was forced to eat chicken because of course they didn’t have beef available. I agreed because it was late at night and my wife definitely wasn’t going to cook. I like Beef, make sure keep it available for night time late orders.

Ordered a chicken shawarma dinner and tabouleh salad - I have had MANY tabouleh salad in my life and NEVER have I had one that was mainly tomatoes and onions and little to NO parsley. Very disappointed. Also the baklava was the DRYEST baklava I’ve ever had In my entire life. So disappointing. Do not go here. Go anywhere else at this point IMO

I ordered 4 shawarma poutines.the pricing for large was a tad on the high side and their "large" is smaller than some other establishments I've ordered shawarma poutines.but that being said the quality was good

It's not often I feel inspired to write a review, but I've given this place 2 tries, and both times the shawarma wraps were absolutely disgusting. Soggy, wet, falling apart, way too much sauce, zero respect for food hygiene. The service was also extremely slow with no regard for customer service. Do not reccomend.
The Osmows off Kennilworth is 100 times better than this hole.

Wow. This has to be the best Osmow’s spot I have been to so far. The quality of the food at this location is fresh and delicious. The 3 gentlemen at the counter were professional and made our food with love. I recommend trying the chicken on the rocks and the chicken shawarma. Thank you for the great service!

The shawarma wrap really good. All the toppings were fresh and i loved the overall taste. The customer service was really good.

They offer an awesome variety of fresh food. I enjoy dining here. The employees are always super friendly, rates are convenient and the place is always well organised.

In all honesty, the food is nothing special. I ordered the Lamb on the Rocks and didn't enjoy it. I'm not sure if I just had an off meal since this was suggested by a friend, but I do not understand the ratings. The lamb was cooked well, but the spicing was subpar. They drenched it with garlic sauce in which helped with the taste of the spices, but overall all I could taste was the garlic sauce. As far as the rice goes, it had no taste. HOWEVER, the one thing that you should avoid is the coco twists. It begins with a pleasant coconut taste and then quickly transitioned into an indescribable taste of spices in which made me throw up.

I’m sick and tired of ordering 20 mins ahead of time.to come in to wait another 20 minutes for my food to be ready!
I order ahead of time so I don’t have to wait for you guys to make it, so stingy! You clearly have no faith in your customer base if you can’t prepare their food for them on time!

When in on a whim and ended up with what is most likely the best Kofta wrap I've ever had in my life. I will be recommending and returning for sure!

My daughter picked up supper for the both of us and we were both seriously disappointed. There was zero flavour. The rice was super bland and tasteless. The salad was horrible. The lettuce had seen much better days and there was an overall bad taste. Never again.

Found two big pieces of chicken bones inside the super shwarma. Really dangerous if I hadn't noticed. Food quality was also cold.

Their 'On the rocks' and Shawarma is excellent. The guy Shawn and Khattak are really friendly and offered excellent customer service.

Very delicious food, clean and friendly environment, team member, 'satchin' did a really good job taking care of our group that came in (mon. Oct. 5th 6pm) and prepared the food very well!

Food was cooked fresh and tasted amazing and the salad was so fresh. Guys I think the owners at the front were super friendly, you will definetly be my go to mediterranean food craving, I have been to a few locations and this one is at the top of my list. Most important in a time like this masks were worn and restaurant was clean!

Great food and but had to wait 25min for my falafel wrap even though I had ordered my food 15 ahead and there was no customer in the store when I got there still had to wait for 25 min

Came here with the family for shawarma day, waited two hours for food, ran out of what we ordered and then we all got sick after eating. Don't recommend.

They used to be better. Portion sizes are tiny now. My container isn’t even half full, almost no white sauce for my chicken and rice. The taste is still good, but you can pay less and get more anywhere else in the city. I’ll spend my money somewhere else.

Best osmows around @ Grays rd and Queenston in Stoney Creek. Great food and fantastic staff and service. Go see my boys Ibby and Shawn! Solid guys

Update. Have not been in a while still great food and service. But when someone asks for extra sauce. MAKE SURE HE GETS THE EXTRA SAUCE! Home now little hangry!

Worst place I've ate in a long time. Food was cold. Rice was burnt. Chicken had chewy pieces all through out. Complete waste of money. Will never eat there again. Very disappointed

Used to love osmows got a chicken on the rox like always and the meal.is discusting asked for extra sause because I dont like dry food and the chicken is nothing but cartilage and theirs no sause even the suse container they gave me for "extra" was half empty I wont be eating from here again waste of 12 dollars and I threw the whole thing out
