Osmow's Shawarma

I genuinely can't think of a worse Osmow's location. Placed a small order through Doordash and the employees left it sitting for an hour without so much as reaching out to explain the delay (as has happened with other stores I've ordered from on the app, even for minor bumps which I found extremely kind to do). In the end, my order never came. No apology or concession was offered.

The last time I ordered from here, the food tasted cold and undercooked, but I was willing to give this store a second chance-sad to see the quality has taken an irreversible nosedive.

Thirty dollars and a repeat customer lost for pure coldness.

Osmow's is a place I want to like but their shawarma wraps are inauthentic, close but for some reason there is a sweetness in one of their sauces that shouldn't be in shawarma. Also, we do not put tzatziki or "philly sauce" in our wraps. Finally the high level of salt added is unnecessary, we use other spices to flavour shawarma without having to overly rely on salt. I would ask Osmow's to focus on the authentic flavour of the middle east (especially in these times) and not this North American-esque recipe.

These guys did our catering for our Christmas lunch. They did an amazing job! Food was great, everything was labeled and they were on time. Definitely recommend this location. Great staff too!

The guy working there is so fast in making the food, but the dine area needs to clean its dirty all the time.

This is one of my favorite joints on york university campus. Beautiful service and excellent food quality

Very good rich and filling chicken on sticks. The sauce was thick and rich. Large portion great for sharing.

Half and half was great but looking at the salad selections.it doesn't look fresh, and makes me not wanna order a wrap there. (Which btw are really good) I don't know about this location.

This is a 15 dollar portion and it is not even half way full on the box. This is my third time in a row getting cheap quantity of food from this location. The other Keel street location have a better customer service and they give you good portion of food. Another time they served left over meat from day before which was hard and very chewy meat. Very low quality of customer service and food at this location. Not going back at this location.

Best place for the shawarma. It really delicious and fresh. Recommend everyone for visit. Moreover, customer service is very polite. I guess served by arpit and hardik.

The single best high food, hungry food, binging food, guilty food and just all around fantastic. 10/10 would order food that's too spicy again.

Rice is like average, chicken isnt burnt like the keele location, overall solid. Spice isnt as harsh as other locations

Always very understaffed, so be prepared to wait a long time to even order. Food is alright most of the time, but watch out for Sahar. She will try to make ordering overly complicated to get you to agree to things to try to sneak in extra changes and she is extremely cheap when making the food. Everyone else working there is fine though and makes good food.

Edit: Things are not any better with Sahar. She is still extremely cheap with anything, so you will be ripped off if she makes your food. I watched her reheat cold french fries to give to me. If my friends and I decide to go back and see her working, we will go somewhere else.

The workers don't know the food ingredients, refuse to admit when they've made a mistake and then refuse to refund when proven wrong. Especially the guy with the hat and beard is very unfriendly and wouldn't admit his fault even when the other workers did.

The food isn’t fresh. Salad’s tomato is sour and tastes disgusting. I’ve been eating so many tomatoes I know how real tomatoes taste like.
Also it’s so expensive with low quality food. It used to be good. Idk why now it is not good anymore.

Love osmows taste. I usually get the wraps, which are great! Been YorkU quad place twice. First time got the chicken shawarma wrap, was awesome but second time around I ordered chicken on stix for first time, medium and it came to $12 taxes in! (no combo). Really? !? For fries and meat? (Reg not meal container). I realised after chicken on rox was 8.99 vs 10.79 for stix. I think rox might be better bang for buck. $12 on campus can get you dinner combo. I will stick to wrap orders. P.s. Server accidentally put too much hot sauce cause of bottle malfunction. I hoped he would throw more fries or chicken to balance it or something. Ended up having super spicy chic on stix.: (

The staff is excellent compared to other places. Whatever your spice threshold maybe, this place will serve you better.

I just get poisoned from that chicken plate, i really didnt know what i eat but it made me throw up, i got stomachache been all day, it happened to my friend too, we all got sick, i just let u know guys, just think before u guys go. Have a good day.

Good food, good service, excellent staff. Love the service very fast. Also food is always fresh. Very well organized. Sitting area is very nicely done. Over all good place to hangout and have a bite.

Amazing Place. Best in Town for Chicken. Especially Chicken on the rox is amazingly Delicious.

Probably one of the better Osmow's locations I have been to. The food is always good and pretty consistent. Some of the servers could be friendlier, but I suppose you don't come here for stellar service.

Quality of food is very poor.staff were students and they didn't care about customers most.and the horrible hygiene. The tables and floors and washroom (oh my God
) were oily and dirty.it is good for manager and owners to check this branch!

Its my first time in osmow’s and its very delicious. The customer service is very good. Its true its bit busy but how the staff handel the customer is very impresive. At last this is best place i find for the chicken shawarma. I like the food very much. This store provide delicious and fresh food.

I was excited to see an Osmows open inside the York campus as I'm a regular at other Osmows locations but my first experience was not the best. I hope in a few months the customer service gets.better, its obvious that the employees are overwhelmed and unsure of what they are doing and need more training. Had to wait 30 minutes for my half and half chicken which isn't worth it. Management seemed to delegate tasks inefficiently in the time i observed, instead of helping the lady make the food orders that were stacking up the lady had the other guy mop when it didn't seem necessary in the moment as the customer line was long and in the way for him to mop anyways. There should probably be a sign as to where someone should start to order otherwise the front area gets very chaotic. Overall i wouldn't come back for a few months until they get the hang of it. 2 stars because the chicken was genuinely very good, had to ask for more sauce to be put on and the fries were not salted enough but the chicken redeemed it enough.
