Osmow's Shawarma

I had an outstanding experience at Osmows during my recent visit for a food order, all thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by Reet. Her friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and prompt assistance truly stood out. Reet's dedication to ensuring a positive customer experience has left me thoroughly impressed, and I will undoubtedly be returning for more delightful meals at Osmows.

I ordered falafel wrap, onions were totally spoiled. I ask to one men cashier he said our onions is from Egypt that is why on the way to canada it spoils.

If you're looking for good quality food that's fast, this is a great option. I like their half and half which is half rice and half fries and their chicken is great. The beef isn't as good as the chicken in my opinion because of the cut of meat they use. They have daily specials where you can save a couple of dollars. It's slighty more expensive than your bigger fast food chains but the food quality is better here.

Asked for 3 line of hot sauce but got 5. Tried to eat but it was so spicy also chiken was ok ok…. And i had to add m own garlic sauce.

The food was very good. If you ask for hot (spicy) food then it actually is spicy which i really liked. And the quantity is just so muchhhh. Good visit

First of all, I ordered through Doordash and my order took over an hour just to come. My Dasher was literally near the location and then he turned around and was just driving by the area in circles. I called the restaurant to check up to see what was going on with my order and the worker on the phone kept pretending that she couldn’t hear what I was saying. I kept yelling through the phone and was repeating the question to her over 6 times. I had to tell her to give the phone to another worker or a manager, in order to get a direct response from her. I ended up calling Doordash and apparently the dude had the wrong address, despite me having a screenshot of the GPS stating that he was near the location. I get my food and it was extremely cold. The rice and fries were extremely saggy and I didn’t get my extra garlic sauce that I ordered. To me it looked like my order was in the Dashers car for an extremely long time. I know I’m suppose to review this on Doordash instead, however I am also extremely disappointed with how the worker handled everything, and the way my food was delivered to me all saggy and unfresh.

I usually have good experiences when I go to or order from Osmows. I think it’s just this location that isn’t very the best. The Osmows in malton and in front of the lakeshore campus at humber are 10x better. I will stick to just going to these two locations instead.

I also want to add that, I only live like a 10-15 min drive from this location. It shouldn’t take over an hour to deliver my food.

I shouldn't even want to give you guys 1 star because i had such a bad experience today.i normally buy shawarma here and never had a problem before but today i bought 5 shawarma's and the girl who was making the shawarma's was wear bangals and the bangals was keep touching the food. It's not hygienic. According the health and safety for the people who is working with the food shouldn't be wearing jewelry. The management should take care of this matter immediately. Thank You!

Amazing food! The best ever location of Osmow’s you will ever find. Good and friendly staff.

I've been in canada for 4 weeks and had osmows more than 10 times. Really tasty food. Great staff. Students get special offer if u show ur student id card.

The specials are like 80% lettuce, 1/2 tomato, less than 1/2 cucumber, and some rice along with chicken or whatever you call them. Lol

I've been coming here for a couple of years and it's always a great experience. My food is always made just right and the employees are always so kind to me.

My rice was sour. As soon as I opened the box a foul smell came to me. I couldn't eat one bite. I call the store immediately and no manager on site. I was told "no one else complained". No apology given. They said I should come back and get a new one. Never buying Osmows again 2nd Terrible experience.

Very bad experience. Even the staff was very rude. I ordered chicken on the sticks and there was too much oil in fries. Fries were cold too. When i complained the girl said dfa ho which means get lost in english. I was talking to her politely and she was very insolent. I don’t even want to give one star… shameful

Today I ordered chicken on Rox at finch avenue West.
The cashier was polite and warm welcoming and taste was very good. I will visit once more. Thank you

Honestly if a restaurant gets 5 stars from me then they are excellent! This was my first time at Osmow's ever and it was awesome. The staff were friendly the place was clean. The food was seriously awesome. I had a chicken swarma the toppings were fresh and plentiful. I'll be back if I'm in that area again!

Love the chicken shawarma. Good portions with greater value and friendly staff. One suggestion I would make is to dilute the hot sauce rather than changing the amount of sauce added, that way it is distributed evenly thoughout the meal. Unfortunately they lack in consistency especially when it comes to the warps. Often they are wrapped loosely or just riped up during the assembly and ignored. The photo below is just an example where the wrap fell apart before it was even picked up.

Got a chicken shawarma platter for two of us. The portion was perfect also the meat was juicy the salad was fantastic and the staff was incredible. The best osmow’s platter i have ever had.

I dont think they know the right portion of a super shawarma wrap. The give small portions when it comes to wrap! But the food is great

This place is disgusting. If you respect yourself even the slightest avoid putting this disgusting mystery meat in your system.

Just tried it for my first time yesterday. Meat was juicy, huge portions, Served fresh and hot, even the salad was fresh and tasty. They weren’t cheap on the sauce like other places and my hubby and I had leftovers for lunch the next day. I’ll definitely be going back soon:)

Rice is low quality fat rice and always undercooked. Stingy on sauce. Veggies no longer fairly priced for chicken on the rocks. Always gives a stomach ache and indigestion which doesn't happen with other shawarma places. Quality has gone to the gutter since osmows became a big chain.

Terrible got chicken on the stix every single fry is stale extremely disrespectful to give me the bottom of the fries instead of fresh batch

I love Osmow's.
It's always consistent. It's always filling. And I definitely always order way more than I can eat.
Luckily it's always good the next day.

I shouldn't be even giving this place one star but i have too, to post this review. This place is very unhygienic. You can get sick from eating here. Everyone in our office got sick from eating at this Osmow's. They don't wear gloves when making the food. When we make the order over the phone, they always, always will make mistakes. And this place smells like sweat. Health Canada should take action on place. Most of the people who ate here have been complaining about getting sick. Hygiene is very important when it comes to restaurants. I would not recommend this place for anyone unless if you want to get food poisoning. Thank You!

Amazing meditarian food I have ever had, got chicken on the rocks and way these guys made it was amazing. Will come back for sure.

This Osman shawarma is not halal when a I ask lady is halal then told yes did you have certificate halal show me they told me we don't have certificate halal but is halal every body visit Osman ask certificate

Ordered the Monday Special 10.99 for Kafta with rice and salad. I was asked if I would like tzaziki, hummous and tahini. I said yes, and got the bill of $14.68. So now I know these sauces are extra, my mistake. BUT now got the food (take out) and when I opened it i see the lettuce for my salad is BROWN in many spots! The Kafta is WAYYYYY overcooked to the point that it is unedible to me, and the rice is undercooked as it is hard. So disappointed, so very very disappointed. I will never go back to this place again. I had been to the Markham Rd Markham location and never had any issues with the food, so i have to believe it is this specific location that is completely not up to OSMOW standards. Nevertheless, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended and i won't return any OSMOW again.

Chicken is mostly pre cooked & cold (not warm enough). Very cheap owner. Other osmows stores are way better.

The food was amazing and service was incredible. They helped and handle customer very well. Chicken was well cooked and cleanliness was top notch.

Meat was very weird felt like they mixed some very old meat with some new meat, I can taste the difference between every bite I take. The place does not seem to be running enough to sell everything they make but that does not mean they can serve their customers old meat products. My stomach started hurting a lot after a couple of hours of eating the “chicken on the rocks” I got, hope I didn’t get food poisoning.

The duds running that place don't know what's going on. I've got completely different thing that I ordered. During my complain they were acting like they don't know English. This particular place SUCKS.

Have had osmows at other locations, by far this is the best chicken on the rocks i ever had. Other places it just feels as if they add water to their sauces.

Worst osmows chicken shawarma wrap i had on this location. Literally no white garlic sauce n very less salad in wrap.i ordered with everything. But there was only little lettuce, onion, hot pepper and 5-6 olives. I can literally count the salad toppings. Excess of hot sauce. I had to throw my wrap.

My little 5 year old brother can wrap a sandwich better than this, This is very unprofessional. Tips: go easy on the sauce and liquid in the sandwich because that causes it to collapse. And use a higher quality bread to hold it up better. Dont put too much oil in the chicken.

I’m Indian and this isn’t shawarma at all. The meat is mashed up into ground chicken and ground beef, extremely soft mushy meat with heavily sweetened “garlic sauce” pour all over the entire meal. If you’re looking for indian style minced chicken rice with garlic sauce then this is your place. It wasn’t horrible but it isn’t shawarma and shouldn’t be called that.

Great food, great customer service and nice place. They should do something about the plastic cutlery and all the styrofoam waste though.

There is vegan option but some items on the menu is not available at lunch time today. Garden Salad was a little too salty. If you like it hot, the wrap hot sauce is doing its job well.

Food is good but if you’re in a hurry then it’s not suitable for you because they’ll take 15 minutes or more to prepare you’re box. The Choice is Yours

Had the Mixed with half and half, probably my favorite since you get nice portions of chicken and beef along with rice and fries.

Staff does not follow instructions. I ordered a takeout, I asked no onion in any of the ingredients. They mixed onion with beef which I find disgusting. Nice, will not come back. My 20$ went to garbage.

I’ve been to several locations and this one is hands down the worst. I don’t understand why this is the only location that’s serves garbage.

Best osmows location by far. Friendly and fast customer service. I use to eat lamb kofta plate which was my favourite not sure why they took it out of the menu no longer available got beef kofta instead.

Generally good food for a good price. Lots of locations, but some inconsistency in the sauce levels. Personally, I don't like my chicken on rocks swimming in white sauce. Some of my friends seem to love it, others like me find it to be a little much. Depending on the location, you'll see a huge variation. Also, Philly cheese steaks are good but overpriced. Stick to the platters to get your moneys worth. Employees are fast, nice, and hard workers. Locations are clean, seating is sufficient, and the decor is fitting. And of course it's halal. A must try for anyone fiending some Mediterranean food with a unique flare.

Worst place to eat.i have been to other locations.been happy but this location omg.very upset the amount chicken the put in the wrap its half of the size other location.dont mean to be resist i think it depends what kind of people makes the food or serve/ run the please.asked toput extra sauce in my wrap they asked me to pay more? Seriously.i did pay.there was hardly and garlic sauce. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

I am a weekly customer of this Osmows location. The staff their is super professional and efficient. I just love their lamb recipe. I like to eat out and after food, i always check customer service and they are very good in that. Its usually busy there but the guys their manage it really nice.

They keep changing the size of their food containers (without warning). Ask to see the size of their container before you order or you might end up with smaller portions than you expected.

Unfortunately, whilst trying to edit & re edit the Review I had done before in response to the comments from the Owner of this Restaurant,
I accidentally deleted my detailed Review & Response, Today Wednesday December 26th 2018 as such, I am re writing my Review!

Let me begin once again to post my Review, in a nutshell, the Food & the Service is Absolutely Horrible!

This is a Fact in my humble opinion, I must say!

To the Owner, The Location we ate at is at Finch Avenue in Etobicoke & at No Place, Else!

Now, To Answer Your Questions, The Salad was already put into a Styrofoam Container by Your Staff when, I was asked if we wanted a, take out or if we were dining in, it was after the fact & that is why the main dish was Plated by Your Staff. There are other Customers, just like ourselves, who have also had their Food on Plates, unlike you saying, to the contrary, that you only use Styrofoam containers & no Plates at all!

Proof of this is not only in my pictures which are posted on the Blue Coloured Table Tops but, also the pictures that others have posted as well. I'm sure that you know that amongst, several different colors of Table Tops, you have in your Restaurant, you also have orange, yellow & blue Coloured Table Tops in your Restaurant.

I'm also sure that you will recognize the Food from your Restaurant, as well!

As the saying goes, I quote "a picture is worth more than a Thousand words" unquote!

Hopefully, you will accept the fact, about the Absolutely inferior Quality of Food & the Terrible Customer Service & try to rectify this in the interest of other Potential Customers!
