Osmow's Shawarma

I drive UberEats and these guys deliberately accept orders when they can't handle them when they're too busy, so delivery drivers show up 30min-1hr before the order is ready and end up wasting their time. They're basically so cheap and greedy that instead of rejecting deliveries that they know they make in time they'll instead waste a delivery driver's time in the hopes of making a few extra dollars. So what ends up happening is the delivery drivers end up paying for the wait with their time. They steal the drivers time without them knowing before they arrive. They're scamming thieves. I wouldn't spend my money on people like this.

Food is good, but i have only ever ordered 3 times from here. Each time I'm the only one out of the family not to get the correct order. It's not even complicated just asking for onions! I flipping love onions so i get salty everytime. Will not order delivery again.

I am a regular at osmows locations in Ottawa and I have to say that Tania from college square osmows makes the best poutines and remains consistent.

Food great, delivery service is horrid (uber eats). Twice driver has "gone missing" with my food. Got my money refunded first time. Still waiting for a refund from the last time.

Best comfort food ever! I got the chicken shawarma poutine (spicy level: mild). Service was quick and food still tasted amazing.

Had a very PLEASANT experience dining in here. Ordered Chicken on half rice and half veggies. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The highlight was VEGGIES! They sauted Broccoli, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery and Cucumber. This was the best i ever had. Was soo tasty and the staff was VERY NICE! Feel bad that i am from Toronto and can't visit them often.

Great service … despite being super busy they were handing out orders pretty easily and good food too!

Bought the Philly cheesesteak wrap it came a size to small and there was no cheese or veg in the wrap.

This is not the first time I went to this Osmows and got the wrong order. I asked the person who was giving out the food if my order was ready. He then picked up a shawarma wrap that was meant for someone else and gave it to me. I asked if this was mine because I was confused as to how fast it was made. I then opened it and it was not what I ordered. Customer service is not great at all. The food itself is pretty good though

I love this place. But tonight was a big disappointment. I understand when its busy mistakes happen. But In this industry they shouldn't. I just got out from being sick. I strictly asked for no spice. No onions and no hot peppers on my steak wrap.they got the no spice right. But it was loaded to the max. I couldn't eat it all. I was sweating bullets.they should look at the order while building it. I wanted to go back but I haven't ate anything since 1230. And I'm still getting over being sick.

I want to continue coming here. It's the best place in the area. But please read your order thoroughly

I went there at 11: 30 at night as this was the only few places open. I asked the guy for the order please no sauce and if he doesn’t mind we will take it on the side. I asked him 4 times to make sure that he doesn’t add sauce on it as we had someone in the house who is lactose intolerant. Despite me asking him 4 times he didn’t care and dumped what looks like is the entire bottle of sauce.
I made a mistake of not checking there assuming asking 4 times was sure enough by the time i reached home it was already closed and we had to throw the food out. This wasn’t the first time they had bad service this was the second time we went there assuming they might have improved. Big mistake never eating from this restaurant.

This place doesn’t deserve a single star either. You guys really need to train the people on serving the quantity, and the lamb taste gets worse after every spoon. Not sure how old the meat was, it tastes terrible.

Tastes like garbage. Place is dirty and they take forever to make anything. It used to be good but the quality has dramatically decreased.

Food is great however I spent 20 minutes waiting for one wrap.
The guy taking my order had his headphones in and was reluctant to deal with me. Only ordering this from uber eats in the future

Please serve the customers with patience. No need to rush when you know that you are totally messing up the customers order. Not complaining but need to improve when things get busy out there.

Food is good but fairly expensive. The chain is essentially fast food shawarma, but not fast. Their lamb is really nice.

Slow service, if you feel like waiting 20 minutes for a wrap- this is the spot for you. Hard to comprehend why putting ingredients and precooked meat on a wrap would take this long but alas, here I am.and no the gentleman working was not “new staff”

So delicious foods there, I tried 2 times their large half and half chicken and beef, it was really delicious with more garlic sauce on top.but they don't have any shop on sud side of Ottawa, I have to

What a horrible soccer commercial you are running with a lifeless player laying on the pitch, coming to life only after smelling your food. So tasteless. Several deaths have happened like this and you play it as a joke. Christian Eriksen almost died like this during last Euro cup.

I had a chicken schwarma wrap, and it was delicious! Sauce is super spicy and yummy. Portion size was just what the stomach asked for. Kudos all around

They don’t give enough garlic source like before. It doesn’t taste the same without the garlic source.

Ordered from uber eats.pathetic delivery timing, cold food, no seasoning in the salad and had flies in it.

College square location needs to maintain their cleanliness!

The service was good and employees were happy to help and provided best service they would do ever.

I love Osmows. Chicken on the rocks is amazing. However, After about 10 times ordering from this location, the employees have neglected one simple request: no tahini. All I ask is that Tahini is not put on my mean. 8/10 times I get tahini anyways because that's the standard. It ruins the meal for me and I feel like I waste money every time. For a meal that only has four ingredients, it baffles me how often this error occurs.

PLEASE listen your customers. It pains my heart to give a 1 star review to an Osmows location, but I'm finally fed up enough with this.

Worst shawarma I ever had from Osmows. There were literally no veggies in the wrap and it was super dry. When I complained about the wrap, Instead of offering me something better, the staff person said it happens sometimes. It is very disappointing when you don’t get the same consistency of food being served from your favourite place.

Spent 10 minutes waiting for these guys to take my order and they were just standing like a mannequin doing nothing. I just left and so did like 2 other ppl. If you work there and ur not that one older lady, fix up

First time and last time. I don’t like the food, and I had hard sleep last night after when I tried the food

If I could give zero stars I would.

Rationale: I walked inside at 4: 30pm, I was first in line to make an in-store order. Three people working inside all with their backs to the cash. No one greeted me, no one even looked at me. It was like I was a ghost. After 10 minutes of waiting in line right at the cash I said: “ excuse me is there somebody here to take my order? No one even looked in my direction to ask me if I needed something. ” The reply I got was, “ we are busy taking online orders I cannot take your order at this time. ”

I laughed and walked out. The only reason why I wanted to try this place out was because of the funny World Cup commercial. Unfortunately this will be the last time I ever walk into an Osmow’s. They might make funny commercials but they make very sad customer service agents. I will make sure to pass on the word!

And after reading the management generic replies on all the previous low star reviews “please give us another try because we have a new staff”,
Well you’ve had new staff for many months now and not greeting a paying customer and letting them walk out without acknowledging their presence is not worth a second try!

So save your generic replies. They are insincere and disingenuous.

ZERO STARS

The person at the counter was rude and covering up for the fact that she messed up my order. I asked for a wrap with just lettuce and onions she changed the order and given me a wrap with capsicum and onion when I asked she said it doesn’t have capsicum when I showed her the capsicum in the wrap she tried to cover up saying it will come with the wrap. By far the worst experience.

They way overdid it with the hot sauce on our sandwiches. We both asked for the pest spicy option (little) and received what I can only assume was one of their hottest options. Neither of us could finish the food. Terrible experience m

Iv tried it many times i like the food but they can’t get the orders right EVER. Will not be going back anymore. (Asking for salad to be separated and leaving multiple notes on Uber to have it separated, asking for no croutons and having them dumped on. The list goes on. If you wanna eat Osmows recommend not going to this location
