Lazy preparation of food, borderline disgusting. We used to order from here all the time but tonight we got 2 shawarmas - they came literally with only lettuce when we asked for the works. And the amount of chicken in them wouldn’t feed a 3 year old. If we can’t trust the quality from this place, then we won’t order here anymore.
The best Osmows location EVER! Other Osmows locations need to learn from the servers here. Their food is exceptionally made. My falafel shawarma wrap was soooo delicious and well put together. Usually at other locations the wrap ends up falling apart and the staff barely put any toppings. However, this location was 10/10. I really do recommend them.
Although I love Osmows, this particular branch was a disappointment. I ordered osmow's special platter because i like pineapple in it. To my surprise they forgot to put pineapple at all. Also the rice were undercooked.
Found a large sharp chunk of bone in my chicken shawarma wrap that cut my mouth, the cashier says it's head office's problem and they can't do anything about it.
Went here yesterday, ordered two chicken on the rocks and 1 shawarma. Found pieces of bones in all three items! Was told to call head office, no one picked up but says there open. The fact that I found multiple pieces of bone makes me wonder if the meat is even being cut from the rotisserie. There probably just throwing frozen chicken onto the fryer!
Will not be returning, osmows in general has really gone down over the years, better authentic options out there.
Terrible food. This is a far cry to what is was back in the day. I recently ordered the new saj lamb wrap. I thought being more expensive than the chicken, it would be at least decent quality. The lamb was really rubbery. Also there is no option to order a larger size wrap on Uber eats at the time of writing this review. Disappointing and the final time I have ordered from here.
Very clean and organized. Amazing service and friendly staff. Quality of wraps and platters is really good. Highly recommend to satisfy your middle Eastern hunger.
Service was poor back in the day, but at least the food was super. Nowadays, the service and the food is poor (hope you like cold fries). Ordering on the phone is hit and miss depending on how the server is feeling. One time they told me they were too busy to take orders over the phone (yet they had time to pick up), and once I went to order in-person, the store was empty. When Osmows went to a franchise, the quality really plummeted. I miss the good ol' days when the service was bad, but the food was great.
Employees are so rude. I told them my food was not really cooked even though they not even say sorry and argue with me, this is the first time I had this kind of experience from osmows. The management really need to teach their employees that how to deal with customer.
Good food when it's cooked and made correctly, but it's hit and miss.they may mess up your order. Also the last 2 time we got food poisoning due to pink chicken. Update: also the beef shawarma is frozen, once you order it they will defrost it.
So overall, stay away from this place. Quality & fresh food are definitely not a top priority here.
Over time osmos has become a shadow of its former self. It is no longer very good when ever i eat osmos in general i get stomach pain and now osmos is not that clean.
The quality has depreciated over the years. The turnover is so high that it seems newbies are always making the food. The managers really need to do better to focus on both quality and time, because this is unfortunately one of the worst locations now and it used to be the best. The cashiers need more confidence too: they almost always look worried, confused and aloof. Also, it's 2018, why is American Express still not accepted here?
With respect to the food: Portions are a little small compared to the past, but prices went up. Shishtaouk is good but takes a while. Chicken on the rocks is the staple here but is often too cold and is progressively getting light on the chicken. The chicken shawarma is delicious too, but pretty inconsistently made.
Best osmows franchise. I only come here for chicken on the rocks and that can only be enjoyed with a good amount of sauce on it. I've been to many other osmow's they all are stingy with their sauces and ask extra money for it which ruins the whole experience. Heartland franchise is particularly the worst when it comes to ruining experience. This one opens till late, customer parking at the rear and nice cozy experience. Only complaint is that the place is a bit too small and may need a renovation. Food is always top notch.
Please know that I love Osmos food and eat spicy all the time. Something's not right at this location. Just spent $50 on dinner for four of us and threw half of it away. Chicken shishtawook was dry with almost no flavour. They poured a gallon on hot sauce on one of our wraps and it was just not edible. The meat was the main issue.it just didnt taste right.almost off? I'll never eat at this location again. I think they are having issues.could be why there was no heat in the place and all the staff were wearing winter gloves.maybe going out of business.
The food is almost like a drug how good it is. Plus this one is the only one thats open late one weekends after the bars are out. Smart on there end. Chicken wrap with nothing on it and mild sause is the best. The owner is always there working hard and talking to customers and that makes you feel great as your eating knowing he and his family care. This place is CANADA.
I said I would be eating here but got my order in a takeout box
Filled to the top with rice, almost no chicken.
When asked for extra garlic sauce I was told it was extra (which is completely fine) but when I go to different locations it’s not, so there’s an aspect of inconsistency when it’s a franchise.
Otherwise the location is great and the restaurant is clean
I dont recommend that place at all as the food doesn't taste good at all.service and price are not bad.dont think to dine in cause the restaurant is so small.
Before they ask you what type of salad you want for your chicken salad, now suddenly started to charge u with anything other than Garden salad. Owner/manager is trash in this location.
Consistently good chicken shwarmas and chicken on the rocks You can call in to order if you don't want to wait, just wish that they had a similar on the rocks dish with a side of potatoes.
I’m pure vegetarian and there was meat in my falafel wrap which was totally unexpected in any veg wrap. I called immediately, talked to one guy and he told me that you can pick it up today at any time. I was shifting next day so I said I can’t make it today. Then he said okay no problem I’ll inform to all members working here and they’ll give you wrap and come with best quality photo in which we can see meat. I took photo and when I’m going there with photo, there was one lady (owner), she was so rude to talk and denied to give me wrap as went there after some days. She was like with whom did you talk!? Did you talk to me? I’m the owner. I said there was a guy, I don’t know name and why would I ask his name as he told me that I’ll inform my team and you’ll get a wrap.
Whenever I go there and ask for extra hot sauce on the side, they charge for very small container of hot sauce and not all other osmow’s used to do this!
I usually have to ask for my shawarma to be wrapped tightly; otherwise it did be very loose. Especially the larger size. Wait time is also very long at times. Over all though, alright.
Osmow's is convenient and creative. The food tastes good and original. I like how you can customize your food just how you like it. Seating could be better. I have found hair in my food at times but I simply removed it and kept eating, yes it's that good. Overall Osmow's has fantastic food that makes all of it's flaws dissapear.
Still the best location, for quality of food. The white sauce and pepper is AMAZING! You should definitely try the pepper, at least a little.
The actual restaurant is very small and seating is very tight though, making it a little stuffy in the summer. During peak times, don’t expect to find a seat. I usually get the food to go, and i’ve never had a mistake in my order made or had to come back to the store.
I believe this location is one of the few that are not franchised out and is one of the original stores. Always had a good experience, both in terms of food and service.
It's used to be the best place but not anymore. The quality has gone down plus if you pay with credit they always charge you 35 cents extra. Avoid this place at all cost.
My visit here wasn't good at all. I ordered my food politely, didn't receive my receipt. I asked for no olives on my Greek salad and they put a whole bunch. I wasn't upset so much about the olives as I was upset about the service. The employees were cursing, and giving attitude to the old man that was working there. This place needs to hire new staff, or they need to learn the meaning of customer service.
