Osmow's Shawarma

Visited there yesterday evening, Service was quick and employees were nice. I have visited in the past for two or three times, everytime these guys serve me greatly. Will recommend it to my friends as well.

One of very few shawarma locations to give good portion sized wraps these days. I got the large chicken wrap for $12.70+tax, and wasn't disappointed.

To start off the staff seem friendly and the inside is decently cleaned. I ordered the Thursday lunch special and they made the chicken on the grill right away so it was a fresh as they could do. Unfortunately the result was pretty disappointing. The amount of rice was generous but for a $14 lunch special just three small chunks of chicken was underwhelming. In addition to that the meat was very tough to chew through. Hopefully this was just an off day but you may as well just walk to the one in square one.

Ok food.
The falafel is what I only get here. Satisfactory wrap. Nothing to special. Outside of the vegetables, the signature is in the recipe of the falafel. With osmows it's a basic falafel taste. Seems like the signature tastes are in the small family resutuants.

When they make the wraps for some reason, it's never wrapped correct. Usually have to eat with everything falling apart.

Fries were rock solid. Went strait into trash. Fear of a tooth chipping.

If you want a basic meal to get you though a quick lunch, and want to put something down quick then yea, its alright.

I regularly eat at this place and every time I go there the staff is so nice they greet me very nicely and the food here is just awesome. Love it

Great place. The staff is awesome. Especially tanveer. He makes my rice and wraps very nicely. Love the taste.

I never had such tasteless chicken shawarma wrap ever. There was no garlic sauce in the wrap or maybe negligible quantity. It’s disappointing if the food doesn’t taste good after spending money.

One of the most unsanitary, worst quality Osmows locations I’ve ever been to. Osmows should be doing ALOT more quality control over some of these franchises they are literally ruining the Osmows brand!

None of the staff members were wearing a mask to cover their nose and mouth. It felt very unsafe how they were handling food in the pandemic.

Fuad make the best food ever if u planning to go there ask for him to make your food hes the best

The runescape music got me goin like ooooou. Also make sure you take the sidequest buy construction worker beer down the street, for 3 gold.

Shawarma was good but red sauce on top is like someone put red Chilli powder mix with water and put on top and i order 2 chicken platers 1 plater have good amount of food but other have very less

The food is always lovely that’s why I keep on coming back to this place but my only concern is the service sometimes the order pile up and it takes time to get the order

Quality less. They serve shawarma, wraps and rice with meat. The problem is their meat is dry and so is rice, wraps and falafel and on top of that they dont add required quantity of garlic sauce which makes it very difficult to eat. Its better to charge $1 extra and give quality product then serve under prepared food

Decent overall. The food is very inconsistent, but it's pretty good when made right. On a bad day, the rice can be crumbly, and the chicken may be mushy or burnt. The food is also sometimes served cold. It's done right about 60% of the time. Only major issue is that they never use enough garlic sauce unless it's paid for, and there's never a variety of drinks available.

Most of the time it's good but every now and then you'll get a wrap that falls apart in your hands. I also think their chicken is a bit too dry so I tend to go for the other meats.

Great place, always consistent, awesome staff. Everytime I come here I always get what I expect, service is fast, and the staff is friendly. Definitely one of the better Osmow locations for that Chicken on the Rox fix.

Food quality has gone down the last time I ate here. Also took some time to get the food although most of it is already prepared and they just have to put it in the serving container!

Awful food. Don't trust the high rating on here as they were running a deal that if you gave them a 5 star review and showed them proof, they would give a free drink. Otherwise this location should have 3 stars! Fries flavorless, chicken dry and old, rice tasted awful and the garlic sauce they use is terrible. Please truse me and don't waste your money here. I felt sick after eating only 1/4 of the meal I ordered.

Used to be good. Very inconsistent now. Got overcooked fries couple of times and shawarma wrap was awful.all turnips and other veggies were at the bottom of the wrap rather than spreading out.

Osmows brand use to carry a strong reputation, friends would spread the word that you gotta eat at Osmows. Unfortunately the quality has gone done so low, hey lost touch with what made Osmows successful in the first place. No flavor in the meat, nothing really special that separates them from the competition, the price is the same if not more expensive than other competitors. I hope Osmows can improve on the quality and bring back what made them successful in the first place

Visited today to grab a shawarma. Never again from this location. The food station had such bad stains that you can tell this place does NOT get cleaned on regular basis? Fly was inside the shop as well.
The griddler where they warm up stuff looks so filthy and dirty! They really need pay attention to the cleanliness of this location!

If you want non-authentic, filled with oil and grease Shawarma, got to Osmow's - seriously though, Osmow's is not where good tasting shawarma is, got to Roman Zaman a few streets down or Original Shawarma, basically any other shawarma place besides Osmow's

One star only for the service. Food was cold and stale even when I had instructed them to make it fresh. Less quantity of garlic and hot sauce. Totally disappointed.

I like the Shawarma from osmows. I am regular here and some of their staff is friendly. Food quality is good.

I have been purchasing from this location for a while now and I am really dissapointed with the greed for money these people have become. I bought a chicken shawarma patter and the bill came to $19.5 This same item price keeps changing depending on who is on the counter. I am really upset with this service and I will not be going here again.

Took an hour trying to get this review up = just to gage how bad I wanted to express this option to Osmow's and see if they do anything to bring back the store I used to love. This is my story.lol im not sure what has changed at this location but feel like I've wasted my money, would loove to be refunded - but im not expected too.im hoping they take a note so I can come back.

Driving to Montreal, stopped to spoil ourselves for a treat at our Osmow's - we were even was bringing some meals up to try and "show off" this food which we remember being delicious.little did we know:

WE WERE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QAULITY OF THE FOOD.its been on a slippery slope from what I previously remember it being. I used to be there 2-3 times a week. Use to be.

We were especially disappointed this time around (again), since we asked Osmow's asked for lots of white sauce (garlic) as it notes to do on the ordering window - they say "Sure, no problem! ". We were even asked to buy more of it on the side (this was new) "Sure, if we have to" we said, joking that this stuff is liquid gold.

I asked how much the sauce was (. $. 50 for about idk a ketchup packet worth, $6.50 for a small container around 250 ml.the cashier was unable to retrieve a price for the bottle - but have to assume about $599)

Let me show you a picture of what it used to be and what I was served today - reminding you we paid additional for "extra" sauce.

I'm not even going to give the other meals to my friends since I was bragging about how good it was.

I'll say a "thanks" to osmows like they said "yeah, no problem" to my request for extra sauce hahah greaaaaaat job - please note the sarcasm - this was not a good experience for me and wish we didnt make the detour.

There's an employee in this location named Michael who has exceptional customer service which is why I only go to this location if I want Osmow's.

I had chicken and lamb shawarma and it was delicious. Lamb shawarma is a must try. Place is clean and hygienic.

Great Shawarma.ordered chicken on the stix and I liked the taste. The ambience is great but couldn't sit down and enjoy.

I tried this place with my cousin thru Skip the dishes because he raved about how good this place was.
It really wasn't. The food was cold as if it had been sitting for a long time, and I had ordered the lamb on rice. What I got appeared to look more like ground up lamb (which I know from ordering Shawarma over the years that is not how it is supposed to come) The rice was hard as a rock as if it was undercooked.
We had asked for extra sauce and paid for drinks and failed to get that. My cousin also had what looked like a kids sized order as half of his container was empty.
I really wasn't impressed and will be sticking with my regular Shawarma place.

Great shawarma at reasonable prices. They give out generous portions. The garlic sauce is also guilty pleasure. Although the food came out fast, I was quite disappointed that they didn't have tap water.

Love the flavors! Best chicken shwarma I have ever had. The Chicken is so moist and juicy that it melts in your mouth. Will definitely go there whenever I visit Mississauga again!

The food here is absolutely amazing. The shwarmas and chicken on the rock are so delicious and the staff is also very friendly.
The student offer is great and one can be fully satisfied with the shwarma, fries and coke can.

This place is trash. They bribe you with a can of pop for 5 star to make up for it. Why don't you just do a good job so you don't have to resort to these unethical practices?

What a bizarre experience. Not a word said during the order process. Just blank cold stares. Whatever. Asked for the receipt, got a look like it was an absurd request.

The shawarma? Pathetic. It was cold, dry and rubbery.

Changing my 5 star review to 1 cuz I can’t give no star. Found a hair in my food and also PAID for extra sauce only to get the same amount I always get. Never going here again and I’d order from here once a week.

Although I love the taste of the food served here, I noticed I feel sick everytime I eat their food. But this could be just for me. Nevertheless, their staff is great!

This is definitely the best Falafel sandwich and best restaurant of Osmows out of all of their locations. Lots of vegetarian options, friendly owners, 5 stars all around

Waited more than 20 mins for food and staffs are disorganized and overwhelmed. I ordered large chicken on the rock with extra chicken and the portion was smaller than regular size. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am a big Osmows fan but this location is a let down. The food overall is mediocre, they are stingy with the meat.

Ordered the chicken on the rocks. The guy puts way more rice and less chicken compared to other locations

If I was able to give 0 stars I would. Was very excited to go here as I love going to the one located on hurontario in the cineplex plaza. This location is only 5 minutes away. Ordered my usual chicken wrap. What I got instead was a blubber of fat with a side of chicken. Every single bite I took I had to remove the fat, it was disgusting. Safe to say it ended up in the garbage. Do not go to this location and expect the quality to match the other. It is seriously disgusting!

Just went to Osmows and had a horrible experience with the lady cashier. This was not the first bad experience I have encountered with her. She is so rude and has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. Told her I didn't want a lot of sauce and she drenched my food in the sauce; even asked to pay half for a brand new one and she refused. Asked for the owner and she pointed to him and he could clearly see/ hear there was a situation but he did not care to see what was going on. The customer service at this location is just horrible, that's why I refuse to ever go back. This is just a reminder to why I should stick to LAZEEZ!

Shawarma is their speciality. Large portion, good prices and delicious chicken shawarma. We ordered Falafel on half salad/fries and chicken shawarma on rice.

- Don't love the Falafel, soggy inside.
- Find the menu bloated for newbs. The simpler the menu, the faster the orders go through. Shawarma on Rocks means it's on rice, Shawarma on stix means it's on fries.
- Parking is on the street and not free. Still cheap though ($1/2hrs). It's coin only.

I love osmow's. I would love to give 5 stars, however the times I've went in the last month or two I've noticed a decline. I was pretty disappointed this last time because I was literally bragging to my friend how good your Greek salad is; I ordered one for him to try. When I got it, it didnt look comparable to the ones I had for myself before.the lettuce was warm, a pinnnnnch of feta cheese and minimal vegetables. I didnt even give it to him to try. (I couldn't even finish it). I didnt want that reflect as his first experience as I know you guys can do better.

Half and half on the rocks is amazing.although its becoming more 1/4 dry and 3/4 rice and they have cut back on the sauce as well.

Streetsville locations is always above and beyond. Almost willing to make the drive there now.

My experience at Osmow's (Oakville location) has always been great, very friendly staff and generous portions. But at this Mississauga location a medium container of just the chicken shawarma at $13 was quite shocking, you could see the bottom of the container, it was half full at best. Quite disappointed. This was the second time I have experienced this, although on the first occasion it was not this bad. I shall be sticking with my preferred Osmow's location in Oakville as there is a reason why the wait times can be a bit long sometimes.

I want to give higher rate but you guy let me down this time. I used to order chicken on the rock, the sauce is good and quite a lot but not enough for large size so I decided to order extra sauce on the side today. However the lady (wearing glasses) looked at my order and put just a little sauce on the rice and give me a container of sauce on the side. She is so cheap on the sauce that is on the rice so I feel like I pay extra money for the same amount of sauce

Not very great food. Ordered chicken on the rocks and it was completely bland. Def not going there again. Portions are big for the price. Good if u just want something to fill ur stomach at a decent price hence the 2 stars.

It depends who the chef is.cold fries with cold sandwiches, if u complain some of them have a ego issues.reminds me of the soup guy from Sienfield

My review below was from a year ago. I was in the area and decided to give them another chance. The food was very tasty and service has really really improved. Great job! I changed my 1 star to 3 star because they have made a big effort to better their service and quality. One thing that has not changed is the chicken. Although the chicken shawarma wrap I ordered was tasty, the chicken itself tasted dry. Not sure why the shawarma is not being shaved directly from the stick. There’s a container with chicken that comes off the grill. This dries the meat and looses the flavor. Could this be why they put so much sauce to cover that up? Hmmm I love chicken shawarma and I’m almost at the point to say it’s highly recommended except that it’s dry chicken covered in sauce. If you guys shave the chicken directly off the stick I would be willing to come back and change my review and hope for a 5star this time. The chicken shawarma wrap pictures are attached (Aug 23/18)

Terrible service. They weren't even busy. 2 customer and it took 20mins just to get salad and chicken. Also their chicken didn't taste like good at all. Doesn't taste like chicken. Worse place for shawarma! Very disappointed!

Some of the worst sharawma I've ever had. I go every so often hoping to not be utterly disappointed to no avail.

I am beginning to hate the service at this location. The quantity served has dropped in the past few months. When you charge us for extra garlic sauce I would expect extra garlic sauce in my shawarma. This is the only location that does not give you enough garlic sauce after paying extra for it.

I just ordered from this location and they added lots of hot sauce in place of garlic sauce and I had throw my shawarma. I would definitely not recommend this location. Try other locations in Mississauga because the owner does not take any of these reviews as feedback to improve.

Worst osmows ever I have been working in osmows for long time and their chicken is so bad and they didn't even put the normal size scoop of chicken, and their cashier was so bad and treated us so bad and didn't even smile. Highly not recommended.
