Osmow's Shawarma

I had a fantastic experience at Osmow's Shawarma today! The flavors were exquisite, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was delightful. I highly recommend trying their shawarma – it's a true culinary delight!

Ordered chicken on the rocks (extra hot), less amount of sauce, no extra hot sauce, very bad customer service

This is the worst shawarma i ever had. I had their shawarma wrap on their shawarma day and it was hard to find chicken in the chicken shawarma.

Had a regular wrap and chicken on the rocks, on shawarma day, got few pieces of chicken on both probably 10 pieces in total. Poor service.

5 dollar shwarma day and they gave me just rice which could be cooked at home.waited 45 minutes just for ricezero ️ i will not go back.

I like their wrap. Shawarma chicken is good but Fatosh salad is not authentic, i was not expecting it from it.

Food is good; I always struggle on how to order the food there. The 1,2,3 approach isn't smooth. ;)

Ordered fries while waiting for bus after work. They gave me fries which were already fried sometimes earlier. May be they reheated and served me. Very dissapointing because I always take fries while returning home from work. This is the second time I experienced this. So thought of leaving a review.

The best shawarma place. Being an Indian I craved for spicy food and Osmow’s made it worth the try.

Definitely the worst Osmows I ever visited. The chicken shawarma was cold and tasted awful the rice was dry. The workers were even worst, they don’t even check the food they serve. The washroom was dirty and there were 4 workers at the counter just chit chatting! The food gave me an upset stomach and threw most of it out! Please stay away from this place. Wish I could 0 star!

DO NOT go to this Osmow's, bad customer service, I've gone to this location three times previously because it is close to my work. The workers never make orders on time, you cannot make orders on phone because they always lie about how busy the store is or they just never pick up. I gave them a call while I was on the way to the store previously, I was told that the store was extremely busy and I was put on hold. When I got to the store, I saw 3/4 people working and were just talking to each other (none of them looked busy), the store only had 1 person in line. I ended up making the order in person but I stayed on hold the entire time to see if they would pick up. You guys need to change your staff.

Quality, portion size, employee attitudes, and atmosphere have been gradually going down. Food isn't as hot as it should be, the overload on the rice to give you less meat now, all 3 gentlemen that I have encountered working there are absolutely rude to all customers. Dining in is horrible also unless you like to hear the store music playing at max volume.

If you like this company go to Main and Dundas location for a much better experience.

Do you know why some people doesn't like Osmows because of stores like this (355 hespeler ave, inside the mall)
I am in to Osmows for 7 years, damn fan, I visit Durham College Osmows atleast once in a week.
Visited Cambridge to meet my buddy and I can say this is the worst Osmows I ever had.

Here at the mall, they are tooo hesitant to add meat and rice. A medium rocks is 3/4 of regular oswmows.
Staff are nice but food in portion is too less, meat is not crispy enough, rice is not cooked well.
I was wondering why some people hate Osmose, may be they have tried wrong stores.

Staff need to be enlightened and trained to maintain Osmows quality.

It was okay okay rice bowl for me. But my husband liked it too much. He has ordered the wrap with spiciest sauce and chicken in it.

Besides Osmows being great in general, this location is an ideal spot and #1 in Cambridge. Food quality in consistent. No complaints. Definitely recommend.

The customer service is great, specially the punjabi workers, however when the owners are in the store they refuse to honour the “student deal” which is in the menu on their website and is advertised everywhere on all their franchises. The owner of this location should honour the deal offered by the franchise.

Portions are decent sized, price is a bit pricey for what it is and their sauce at this location just isn't great.

This shawarma place deserves less than one star. I went there on 24 jun to get an shawarma platter for my lunch on work-shift. I opened the box on my lunch and there was no sauce in it. So, i called this place and ask for a refund. The employee or whatever was on the phone told me that i can get an refund on Monday. Owner of this place refused to get me a refund saying that they can not pull up sales info for Friday. Do not recommend this place at all.

Went to the osmows on main st, they completely didn’t listen to what I asked for, the lady made it a medium by mistake and then just dumped the medium into a large container, and then just added a little extra rice. I asked for the hummus side dish and they just put not even a spoon of hummas on my chicken shawarma and didn’t give me a pita with it, she gave me the wrong thing and I asked for sauce on the side and the lady put it on the chicken. Worst experience. Would not go there again.

This location is one the best Osmows location in the region. It's clean, hygienic and a friendly staff, using gloves and wearing hair net while servicing customers. They serve fresh chicken, right off the skewer and on to the grill. Went in with my friend who wanted to check out the place and just wanted to have a bite. Order chicken platter for myself and the staff suggested Junior chicken for my friend. Amazed by the quantity of food let alone the taste, which was mind blowing topped with there famous osmows sauce. Wow, so much food for that pricing. I had to ask my friend to help me out to finish it. Thanks for making my experience a wonderful one. I will definitely be returning and is now one of my go to places. Worth the money and finger licking good! Highly recommended location!

This location is an unclean Osmows franchise place. I will never set foot to this unhygienic place again. I think they served old expired meat for my other delivery order which smelled bad. I did not even eat it. Don't want to get sick. I'm thinking of reporting this location for a food inspection and hygiene from the authorities.

The two Indian guys staff has rude attitude and is more interested in talking among themselves in their language than serving customers at the counter and playing loud music that you can't even hear yourself.

How worse could it get when this particular franchisee location is run by people who do not know what respecting other people means. This rude confrontational and aggressive behaviour towards customers even shows in their replies to these reviews here.

I have had good food experiences from other Osmows locations. But this particular location, I will never set foot there again.

Worst service ever. They couldn't even deliver or give a status update on my order through doordash after 1 hour of waiting. This has happened many times, and I won't be ordering from this location anymore.

**UPDATE** contacted the email provided by Osmows and no response.

Ordered to pickup. Upon reaching the restaurant was hot (no ac), unclean, and loud music that was in pleasing. I overlooked that for the food and brought it home. Was shocked to see the size of the JUNIOR shawarma! Like how does that even count as a shawarma. It should be called “a bite of shawarma”. Secondly I got their chicken platter which was meal of the day which looked promising but it tastes like Parmesan and I wondered why would there be Parmesan in Mediterranean food…then Lo and behold as I’m half way through the meal tolerating the taste since I paid almost $20 for the platter…. A fine 3 inch long hair comes up in my rice. At that point I just wanted to throw up what I had eaten. That was it, I was done! I just threw it out right then and there. Worst experience in food, food quantity, and food taste. Never returning again. A waste of $50 there! Don’t go to this location!

I visited cambridge mall and i saw osmow's there. I ordered chicken wrap and it was amazing. I appreciate the customer service.

My friend regularly goes to osmows for lunch.i tagged along with him this time.ordered beyond warp for myself and my friend ordered falafal wrap. Now i know why he is hooked up to this place. Amazing food, fresh and super fast service. Those are vegetarian try one time for sure guys

I had Chicken Shawarma Wrap and Falafel. The shawarma tasted like a normal wrap that we would get from local shops. It didnt taste anywhere near the authentic Arabic Shawarma. So, If you are looking for Arabic Shawarma, this isn't the place to go for. Go someplace else. The Falafel was the worst ones I have ever had. I never expected this bad. I bought 5 pieces box and had to throw away all of it. It couldn't even be donated to someone. It was that awful.

Editing my review from last 2 worst Experience tomorrow i bought 2 shawarmas 1 biger one and 1 regular.it was almost empty vry less chiken less veges and 3 time peices of bone comes in my mouth.very very disappointed from my last 2 visits, I was the one who really like this place before and recommended it to my friends too.u guys have change your quality and lost a good customer.

Went there to get dinner last evening. Ordered chicken shawarma on salad. I have had this same thing from another osmovs and it was awesome. But Cambridge Centre Osmovs dish was non edible and i threw away after a few bites. Chicken was dry and rubbery. The salad was soggy and horrible. Tooooo much garlic sauce made the dish look like swimming pool. Bad bad bad.

Osmow's used to be a decent place for shawarma when they first opened up a couple years ago. Lately, however, the quality has gone way downhill. The quality of the meat they use is low-end resulting in sinewy, griselly, cartilage-filled chicken. The staff don't really try, having actively ignored requests for toppings or having something on the side rather than on the dish. The price has shot up as well as you're now charged per every single topping or sauce that you add versus just having special or premium toppings charged.

There's better shawarma in Cambridge, and it's not hard to find.

I had a half and half shawarma plate at the store on hespler road and it will be a shame to call it shawarma. Terrible chicken, terrible fries even terrible customer service, on top of that the rice felt undercooked. If you really wanna have good shawarma go to East side shawarma at Fairway, best in town.

Have been a regular customer for around 3 years now. The employees are always kind and mindful about my order. Highly recommended for Shawarma lovers.

For the first time I picked up chicken kebab wrap last night, the chicken was so bad and stale I couldn’t eat it, had to waste it, plus I have fallen sick this morning. This is very insane. Please double check this item before you guys buy it. I will submit a complaint to the regional Health department as well. Never would eat from this place again.

I went there today and bought a medium chicken on the rocks. Just to say in plain words it was one of the best shawarma I have ever had chicken was great and rice had a really good flavour to it and staff was really helpful too they told me what to buy as I didn’t know what to order. Overall it was the best experience and it would be my go to place from now on and to all the shawarma lovers I’d really tell them to go there.

Thanks for your concern. I went to the place after 8pm on friday. I told the guy i what i wanted, he assumed I don’t want any extra toppings or sauces and just asked me to pay. I have been to this place earlier and they always ask for extras on the food but last time experience was horrible.

Best place to get shawarma in all the town. Everybody should go there at least once and check it out. Great place and good people and best of all great food. Do visit it once and you won’t be dissatisfied.

Got a medium chicken on the rocks. The rice was over cooked and and had a weird taste to it. Chicken was alright but not as great as it used to be. Might be because I went there at 8PM, an hour before they close, but that doesn’t justify this. Pretty disappointed as this used to be my go-to spot.

We ordered online and we waited about 40 minutes and we went back in and they said they didn’t start yet so we waited another 35-40 minutes and they didn’t start it until I went in the second time and everyone else was getting served before us. We tried calling to cancel the order like 6 times and they never picked up. Terrible experience, won’t be back again.

Rude order taker, poor presentation. Would go to Kitchener/Waterloo location, no more Cambridge. Sikh employee is very nice guy though.

Best mediterranean food in cambridge and staff is good too. Just went there today even though they were busy and had a lot of people in the shop but my order was made relatively fast even though my order was more than a 100 dollars. I would recommend this place to all of my friends. Food and people both are awesome keep it up guys.

Delicious Mediterranean food! I've had a few Osmow's, and this is by far the best! The Chicken Shawarma plate and wrap are my favorite!

Had the falafel, it was ok, not enough falafel and don't like the corporate extra $$ for rice in a falafel. Too much lettuce as filler. I can't say for certain but the person that took my order wasn't wearing gloves during initial preparation of the food. I see your reply, staff was non attentive, dirty and no gloves. The server did not get my order correct. I heard this is a good place. I live in Toronto.totally disappointed.

Very quickly becoming my least favourite shawarma spot. I've been going here for nearly 5 years and it just keeps getting worse. They charge for toppings and then are super cheap with how much they give you. I had some today and now I just feel sick and feel like throwing up.

If you want proper shawarma, go to Shawarma Box.

Family and I had a quick bite to eat at Osmow's before heading in to the Galaxy Cinemas to catch a movie. We all ordered chicken shawarma wraps with varying degrees of hot sauce. Some of us struggled with the heat, lol, but overall we all enjoyed the wraps. Service was friendly as well, and we appreciated that the location is steps away from the movie theater, since we were running a little late for our show.

Chicken wrap was decent. Customer service was not the best. The cashier was not friendly and seemed annoyed to be there. There was no clean table to sit at in the place. Every table needed a wipe down. Dirty dishes were piled up on the garbage and cobwebs were all over the inside of the window. The whole place needed a good cleaning. Don't think I will be back.

Love osmows in guelph but this place is not the same. Cold, not fresh, slow service. Everyone working there seems miserable

They forgot items in my order then told me to contact the delivery service as they were to busy to do it themselves. (RUDE) The meals were disgusting as they put so much of the hot sauce on the food it was not editable.

The poutines are to die for. Great food great quality with affordable prices. Would definitely recommend

Great food and customer service. Reasonable prices. Convenient entrance to the store. Large dining room. Food is always fresh. You can also call and order in advance so you don't have to wait too long when you get there.

Guy making the wraps is about 90 years old, this took way too long considering I'm the only customer.wrap was good but small

I moved to Cambridge a year ago, only recently did I start eating here. I only have a few regrets in life, the biggest being that I didn’t start eating here sooner. All the wasted time.all the uneaten shawarmas.

The succulent, juicy chicken will be sure to leave your mouth watering like a sprinkler. Tender and lean, it hits your palette with a combination of sweetness and saltiness that will mellow in your mouth as it moves from your cheeks across your tongue. Service with a smile from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. Osmows, always makin’ what you’re cravin’.

Very tasty food and huge potions. Chicken was perfectly cooked, rice was great. Would have liked that you would have placed the humus in a different container as the whole plate looked a bit messy. Overall good place with decent prices.

This place has the best shwarma I’ve ever had! The customer service is top notch; everyone is always so pleasant and helpful! I also love the option of not using to-go containers and using metal cutlery:)

I'm very pleasantly surprised by this place, I don't know much about the chain, but the wraps they have are really, really good! A little spice and you are good to go! I'll definitely be back! Awesome spot and nice people!

Amazing customer service! I left my purse behind in their restaurant, completely by accident, and two of their associates spent a half hour looking for my house after they closed down the restaurant in order to return it. They were so kind to spend so much time looking for my adress and dropping off my bag which contained my liscence and credit cards!

The shawarma was good! The environment was okay too. Fast serving and friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

Salad advertised as 6.99 added meat and asked for large, with a pop came to $22. Very expensive for shawarma salad compared to other places

Worse service, i gave order to put extra garlic, and when I checked it there was only garlic sauce in it, no hot sauce and just tasteless falafel. I live in Brampton and falafel here is worst i ever taste of osmow, i hope they check it and serve customers well.

The guy working here at front cash was super nice and were closing in 5.they let us stay and eat until they had done their back cleaning to give us more time.even played us nice Indian/Pakistani music lol

The super beef gyro here is awesome but if you manage to eat it all you'll be stuck on the couch for the remainder of the day, well worth it though

The shawarma here taste so off compared to the Milton location (one of the originals) this is deff not how Osmows is intended to taste.

Best shawarma place in town! Always delicious and prepared fresh. Great staff and service here as well!
