Osmow's Shawarma

Ordered 2 Chicken on the rocks (take out) and the rice was a day old. Horrible experience to have to grab take out only to consume unfresh food at home.

This restaurant is my go-to for easy, quick and delicious food. The service is fantastic and the worker knew my usual order within 3 days of me going. The workers are polite and work efficiently. Their chicken shawarma poutine is to die for, and their portions are large. They give me more than enough toppings. The restaurant is sanitary. This is five stars for me.

I go to this location often and receive great service from Atef and Amy. My order is always completed timely and served with a smile

I ordered just a chicken shawarma Saj sandwich, with mild spice (hot sauce), it was way spicier than just “mild”. And the bread was torn through the middle, the sandwich literally fell apart when I unwrapped it.

We ordered a party tray of chicken and rice. 90% of the tray was rice. Then they gave us only one small container of garlic sauce. Considering the tray was meant to feed 18 people, it was clearly not enough sauce. We had to spend another 10 dollars just for the sauce. Will not be returning.

Amazing service, food is delicious, the owners always take care of you and make sure you’re happy with your meal, 100% recommend this osmows location, very friendly.

Best Osmow's I've been to. I've only actually only ever been to one other, its by my house, but that one was awful. The chicken shawarma wrap was so good here I ordered a second one. I ordered it mild because I have a digestive problem.
The owners get to the point which I like. I will return.

If there is a zero star i would have used. Had a Shawarma poutine and the fries were so old and soggy properly from the night before. The sauce had absolutely no flavour and the chicken was like rubber. Stay away from this terrible location. Sorry about my terrible attitude but the food was thrown into the garbage and even an animal wouldn’t eat it……. I should have returned it but had to run for a mtg…….

The worst Mediterranean food I ever tasted in GTA. I lived in downtown and I tasted best Mediterranean. The food here felt like its not fresh. May be few days old stock of chicken. Falafel feels not fresh too. The staff doesn't look happy.

Ordered a Saj ckn wrap…it was amazing. Service was fast, restaurant was clean and the 3 bald guys working behind the counter were really working well together. I highly recommend.

First time to Osmow’s for me. Had a delicious chicken shawarma and a side order of falafels. Falafels were light and crunchy and tasty. I would go back for sure.

Terrible Caesar salad. I specifically asked no croutons and sauce on the side and I received the salad with mushy croutons and soaked in really tasteless sauce. Very bad experience and extremely over priced for terrible quality.

Worst! I’ve visited so many places, but this is this worst shawarma restaurant. The owner is so rude, doesn’t even know how to talk to customers. The rice looked like it’s been there from days.

Didn't even like giving it one star, but they have a good beverage fridge. They are the McDonalds of Shawarma places which is not a compliment in any way. Value based servings with zero nutritional substance. Their sauces are horrible. I went there because I was in a strange town and asked a newbie if he knew where a shawarma place was, and that's what he recommended without giving the name.as soon as I rounded the corner and saw it, I cursed, but I went in anyways, and sure enough, they disappointed again from the last time I tried them 3 years ago. 2 for 2 complete failure.

Food wasn’t bad (not cold but not fresh), but portion size is incredibly low compared to other Osmows locations I’ve been to (Hamilton, Toronto, Mississauga). Had to ask for more chicken after opening my order, which they fulfilled and didn’t push back, but said no words and didn’t seem interested in my feedback. Not worth the price if portion sizes are this low, especially for a “chain” which should be standardized. One staff member was nice, the other looked like he’d rather be anywhere else in the world.

Paid almost $14 for the Phili Chicken Daily Special - Received 3/4 salad and a tiny portion of rice with almost no chicken. I think they replaced the chicken with hot sauce. Disappointing.

When I mentioned to have extra garlic sauce, the guy instead put extra hot sauce. Couldn't handle the spicyness and had to throw away 80% of my falafel wrap.

The service was not good (kind of a rude guy). The food was awful… chicken on the sticks was mostly dry and too many fries not enough chicken (although the food is great at other locations)

I eat here last time, rice were undercooked and the portion they served was half you usually get in some good osmows places. Chicken was burnt and my experience was overall very bad but i still want to go again and give them another chance after this review. If they improved well and good, i will improve the rating otherwise it will go to 1.

Not the greatest place ordered my father lamb shawarma i guess they drop tons of hot sauce all over the sandwich he couldn't eat it was very super hot and i order it from skipdishes you guys need to do better or you would be sued that's my opinion take care!

When ordering, focus on the portion size for chicken/beef (because they’ll hardly give you any). Make sure to call them out if they are not serving you generously, specifically the meat portions. Avoid this location if they don’t serve you generously.

It is fresh and delicious and worth every cent. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a good meal for a great price and a clean environment.fast service too

The location is so busy and I just don’t understand why its only just one person working in the kitchen. Had to wait for minutes to even place my order

The food is not tasty, no greeting from the staff, I feel that the place is strange as I tried to take some advice from the staff as this is the first time to try this place but I feel that he didn’t want to talk, I think he is dumb, really The experience was below expectation

Food tasted a bit spoiled and old. Rice was extremely oily and half of it was hard as stone. Got sick from it almost immediately after eating it. Never returning here.

Pretty good shawarma wraps and plates. Was tasty and service was quick. Based on the other reviews, it seems like the experience might be hit or miss.

Firstly as soon as I walked into this location the vibes were OFF. The man working did not even care to greet me. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE. Super stingy with portion sizes, he forgot to put garlic sauce which in my opinion is the most important topping. My falafel was BURNT and the rice was not fresh at all. He handed me the food without a bag to carry it in, known well that I was taking it to go, you know given COVID restrictions and all. I’m super disappointed, I grabbed this food on my way to work and imagine my surprise when I opened the container, not to mention my plate was a mess. Never ever eating from here again

Ordered uber eats twice
A month ago the hot sauce was really dark and tasted off compared to other locations. Yesterday both the rice and fries were underdone.
Mississauga, markham and Vaughan locations are much better

The worst osmows I have ever been to. Portions are tiny. There is absolutely no meat and the shawarma was very dry.

This is one of the worst store I visited. I ordered for take out. The portion was really low. The service is not good. I asked to put a extra strip of the sauce and he is like we cannot do it unless you pay extra. I ordered half and half falafel and i did count fried it was only 10 stix. And I also confronted him he said that the quantity you get. I think he was the owner.

This location is very stingy in giving garlic sauce or the chicken in the chicken sharwarma on the sticks or rice even when you pay extra for garlic sauce they give very less as compared to the other osmows locations very dissappointed.

Very disappointed with Tuesday special, salad was too soggy, Osmow's taste is not the same as it use to be.

Horrible service Oct 9th 20 12pm the female server rolled her eyes at us (party of 3) when we asked for this combo advertised in front of the store. I just wanted a advertised combo and she said it was the same as what she rang up which was a more expensive price. I took a picture of the sign and asked for that price and she rolled her eyes stormed off and had another employee take over at that point we decided to eat next door at Chorizos. Try Chorizos! The staff were pleasent food was amazing and the size was insane.

I ordered the chicken shawarma poutine through the uber eats app. I paid $5.50 for extra meat. Instead of putting extra meat, they put extra fries to fill up the box. Huge disappointment, will not be coming back.

Absolutely delicious! Portions are big too. Awesome place to eat. My favourite is their wraps, so full of flavour and they have a reasonably priced family player too!

Feeling safe during the time of covid19 is important to many who want to support local establishments but I will never go back to this place. No attempt to wear mask properly by either males working today at lunch. Money only thing important?

This is my favourite place to eat at, everything is amazing, the customer service, the environment and the food.

They usually do a good job. I have noticed their pitas aren't the same as they used to be. The osmows in Burlington still uses the original pitas which aren't as thin. I've noticed on occasions I'll get a smaller amount of food than usual with a shawarma plate. It doesn't happen all the time and otherwise their food is usually great, service is good, you never have to wait too long. The staff is always friendly and polite.

UPDATE**: After contacting the customer relations department at head office as they directed me to in reply to this review. I have yet to hear back from them. Awful place, awful customer service, awful head office. What an absolute joke! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I am a big fan of the osmows chain and I frequent various locations through the Halton region. Unfortunately due to this location at the Burloak Rio Can centre, I just can’t return to any of the locations.

My experience began with the standard ordering procedure, I place my order, I regularly get a large chicken on the rocks, medium spice, extra garlic ok top. Things go smoothly. But due to the high turnover at this location I am always faced with difficulties at the receiving end of the experience. This specific time, the girl serving me had no clue of osmows procedures, asking me to repeat my order several times and having to explain what medium spice actually mean (how many lines of hot sauce) I’m not sure if this is because of lack of training or laziness of employees trying to learn the process.

The problem with all of this and what always leaves a bad taste in my mouth, is I always leave feeling ripped off. This location, as I believe all locations do, charges for extra garlic. That’s fine. This location even has a sign up telling customers that if they want extra garlic then they have to pay the cashier for it. Ok, so to do all that, then have the auduacity to put basically the regular amount of garlic sauce and pretend like it’s extra feels like an absolute trick and scheme to make an extra 75 cents on every customer. Not to mention after telling her how many lines medium spice is, she barely put enough to call it mild.

My friend who I was with, who had the order following mine, got exactly what he asked for.extra garlic and the proper spice. I’m not sure why this can’t be done to every dish. Doesn’t seem to hard to me. Maybe I’m just a bad customer for expecting a fair service in trade for what seems to be overpriced food. I’ve included a picture below to show what I’m talking about.

To conclude, I’m just sick and tired of the inconsistency that constantly leaves me disappointed. I feel I have no other choice but to boycott this franchise in order to have a positive experience when it comes to ordering this type of food. I highly recommend Taza or Lazeez to anyone who is looking for quality, consistent food and service.

TLDR: Bland Chicken on rocks, extra price for extra garlic, HAIR IN SHAWARMA!

I am a huge fan of Osmos from many other locations but this one is without a doubt is the most terrible.

I usually order chicken on the rocks from other locations and, about 2 weeks ago, decided to do the same at this one. When I came in at around noon, I placed and was then served my order. I also asked for extra garlic and the manager who added it added such a small amount. When I asked him to add more, he looked at me like I asked for his left leg. It was only after I actually placed my order that I found out I was charged extra for it. But the worst of all this was when I got home, I discovered that my order included soggy rice, and extremely bland chicken. I even noticed a strange stench emanating. I was starving and needed to eat something so needles to say I got an upset stomach the next day.

Today I decided to try it one more time and this afternoon when I came in, I decided to order a chicken shawarma. I went back home and the shawarma that I was served had so little toppings in it. I ordered everything which I thought included hot peppers and olives but I was served about 3 toppings. It seems the "everything" they list is actually about 3 toppings not everything on the menu. When I was just about to finish eating the shawarma, I FOUND HAIR in it and immediately threw up.

I spoke with a co worker right after who told me that he once saw the manager pick up a towel on the floor and proceed to wipe the shawarma counter with it.

This establishment does not follow health protocols and skimps out on good service and good quality food. From all the Osmos locations Ive been to, this one is THE WORST OSMOS EVER.

DO NOT GO HERE. YOULL GET POISONED.
