We experienced more than a normal number of porcelain tiles cracking sporadically in our home kitchen which concerned us about possible joist structural issues. We contracted with Ostan Engineering to conduct an assessment of the joists in the basement supporting the kitchen and to provide supporting structural solutions. Our experience with Ostan Engineering in this project was excellent and we implemented the joist reinforcement solution proposed. Communication throughout the process was excellent and we received a final report including precise schematics in a timely fashion. We appreciated the collaborative approach and all of our questions quickly answered. We had a very positive experience and would like to thank Lokesh and his associates for their professional expertise.

We are fixing several issues in our recently purchased semi-detached home. There were many and varied structural issues - our favourite being a large log acting as a support post in one of the basements. We hired Ostan Engineering to help us make sense of what we would need to do to bring this neglected property up to code structurally. Obinna and Lokesh were very professional and very informative. With the first set of deliverables, we had a multitude of questions, which they answered very quickly and updated the deliverables. Starting a renovation for a client, we completed demolition and then made a decision to add a large bay window to the scope of work, however, this needed to be completed before we could move forward with the project.
Obinna accepted the project, had Lokesh on site the following day to measure and I had my stamped drawings early the following week. That kind of turnaround is unheard of in today's construction industry.
This wasn't the first time I've worked with Ostan and it certainly won't be the last. I highly recommend the team at Ostan, they are highly professional and they have gone the extra mile for me when I needed it.

I hired Ostan Engineering to design a structural beam to replace a load bearing wall. Obinna Eze was helpful in our discussions prior to our site visit to determine the feasibility of the project. Once the site visit was performed he was able to design the beam and produce the drawings with a quick turnaround at my request, which was very helpful.
