I honestly cannot remember dealing with a company that is so unprofessional. I hired Len and paid him in excess of $900. After repeatedly telling me that I was guilty and there was nothing that he would do, I promptly fired him. No partial refund, nothing. *** If you have a serious charge, the paralegals in Durham are absolutely frightened by the Crown Attorney's in Whitby. They have good reason to be because those people are only out to ruin people's lives. I am amazed that a provincial body hasn't performed an investigation on Whitby. Required a document to be notarized and was quite presently surprised that there was a local service. The last time I did this the only option was a lawyer in Scarborough. OTT was prompt, friendly, and provided what I needed for a very reasonable fee.

Excellent experience with OTT Legal for arguing two traffic offenses. After finally getting a court date for two pre-pandemic traffic tickets, I contacted a few legal firms to discuss representation and request an 11b defense (unreasonable delay) as the court date was 3 years after the offense. While other firms quoted a ridiculously inflated price for the "paperwork" such a defense would require, OTT Legal was confident that the chances were good based on their recent past cases, and their retainer fee, including the 11b defense, was extremely reasonable - actually less than the base price quoted at another firm! Daniel quickly responded to every communication (mostly email) at any time of day or night, and assured me there was nothing more for me to do and that they would take it from there and let me know the result after representing me in court. I was promptly emailed 2 hours after the trial time - Final result: all charges withdrawn.

I received my first, only and last ticket of ever using a handheld device while driving. I never got a chance to explain to the cop at time of offence as he didn't want to hear it. I was very unhappy with how my traffic ticket was handled by this OTT legal office. They did not have my back at all. The court case resolution meant that I would have to redo my driving test which had not been explained to me properly. I thought yes less demerits but not at this cost? Poor communication. I would have been better going to court and fighting the ticket on my own.
