I am very glad I decided to work with OTT Legal Services. The overall experience was great and the team was responsive to all the questions and concerns I had about my case. Thank you OTT Legal Services for your assistance with resolving my case.

1. Good result. The fine got reduced and the points removed. The only way I would be happier with the result is if the fine got removed completely, but I am still very happy with the result.
2. Communication. Maybe this is just me, but I prefer more frequent updates, so I contacted them through out the year to hear about my case. Even though there was no update (waiting on the city), Eva and Eddie both still took the time to respond to me and keep me in the loop.
3. Summary on trial. Eva gave a very detailed summary on what happened at trail which I was not expecting, and was very happy to get.
4. Customer Service. Eva and Eddie are very friendly and professional. I had no issues contacting them at any time. They made sure to back each other up while one of them was on vacation.
5. Simplicity. Eva and Eddie made the entire process very easy for me. I submitted my case through their website, and Eddie got back to me very fast even though this was around the holiday period in December. Eva explained to me what forms I needed to submit. I was able to deal with the team entirely over email, and I never had to show up in person for anything. It was great to be able to handle this so efficiently.

Dealing with traffic matters is tricky but I want to appreciate Eva & Eddie for all the help they provided to fight my speeding ticket. You really cannot anticipate what the consequences are going to be, but what I can say is they are true professionals. Eddie clearly mentioned the action plan and what the worst case scenario could be. They were always available to take my call or to meet me in person to discuss even right till the final trial. I would highly recommend Eddie for all your traffic matters as he the knowledge and ability being an ExOPP cop to deal with complex matters. Their services are a bit pricey but totally worth every single dollar. As of today I walk out clear of all charges and with a clean driving record because of them.

I had a very good driving record and i did not feel that OTT did anything for me.i was charged $400 but he just did not do nothing for my speeding ticket.it was on halloween day (last day of the month) and the officer gave me a ticket for speeding on a 50 road.he said i was driving at 77.never did and i never have ever got a speeding ticket for my driving for 20 years. OTT did nothing for me. I asked if i can attend on the court date.but was told not to.did nothing for me had to pay a fine

Don't waste your time and money with OTT, they don't have negotiation power, it will be far better results if you appear to the court and explain your situation.very poor

They do not sit down once and truly go over the case. They just take your funds. Met my lawyer the day of trial and she didn't have all the information or angle for the case so obviously lost. Do not waste your money.

Got me completely off my speeding ticket! My speeding ticket was 80km in a 50km zone. OTT Legal got the ticket completely dropped with no fine or penalty. Amazing!

Great work by Eddie and team. He was the only person who gave me a hope in my case I called lot of other lawyers in GTA area but everyone said there’s no chance. So I trusted him and he saved me. So happy with the work.

Not competitive. I fought speeding ticket with them and they were not quite helpful. Provided an evidence of false logging of speed by an officer. These people did not even help to reduce the charge significantly nor eliminating demerit points. Eddie never gets back to you when you ask for the update. Paid $450 to them + the ticket charges. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Eddie is extremely professional and he knows what he's doing, other businesses just want to take my money. Eddie was so clear explaning the winning possibilities.

Once i paid i felt i had to chase them down for information. After the court date i had not received any information, had to again chase them down. All the did was lower my fine by $15 no points, was just a 20kmh charge. This is something you can do yourself at the courthouse not worth the 400 or so dollars they charge. Thought they would fight for me they did not.

Informative and explained my options. My case of HOV lane was removed and my stunt changed to a lower degree of speeding with $423 fine. Thanks Everyone!

In reading past reviews here, I think it's safe to say that traffic tickets are super polarizing and can go either way. I was pulled over back in September for driving while using a mobile device, which didn't happen (my passenger dialed/held the phone, I never touched it). This was during one of the weekend stings, where a cop is in a tractor trailer and signals to another cop to pull people over.

I was very frustrated by the ticket and live over 100 km from the courthouse so it didn't make sense to try to go to court myself. As everyone knows, always fight every ticket, the insurance implications just aren't worth it. I was referred to OTT by a friend and spoke with Eddie on the first call. He was very patient and helpful on the phone, and talked through the ticket with me. I asked him about the specifics of the law, and he effortlessly explained it as follows: You can't be holding a phone, in your hand while driving. Best to get a mount for the phone and at least you can maybe do some light actions (answering a call?), but make sure it doesn't hinder your driving. Amazing how many people I still see on the road looking in their lap at traffic lights, I know exactly what's going on there, it's just not worth it.

One thing he found interesting about this charge was that it involved two officers, meaning the one who wrote the ticket wasn't actually the witnessing officer, and that this might hurt the Crown's case. Also, he explained that the charges for this offence were going up in the new year, so things could have been worse if this happened later.

I decided to go ahead with it, even though Eddie mentioned there are no guarantees on this kind of thing, but they'd do the best they can - OTT's fee was at least less than the ticket (set fine of $490, $1000+ as of this year). Around a week before the trial I received disclosure via e-mail from Eva, and she asked if I had any additional information to add to the case, which I didn't. Finally, the trial happened and I was informed by OTT that I was cleared of all charges as the Crown was unable to prove the case against me.

I think most companies that deal with traffic tickets are in the same boat, as you never know how tenacious a prosecutor or judge is going to be. I have no doubt that Eddie and OTT represented me just about as well as anyone could have and were courteous and professional throughout the process.

Save your money and just go represent yourself, or find a paralegal service who cares. Every bad review on here is exactly what happens, despite them trying to belittle it.
I spoke to Eddie initially, and never heard from him again. On my court date, I get an email from some girl named Eva (I never spoke to before) saying they’ve convicted me 3 demerit points based on the police having good evidence.
I seriously could of just went in myself and saved the $450 they charged me for my speeding ticket. (More pricy than what anyone else charges in the first place) They reduced it from 89 to 79 in a 60 zone. The court will give that to anyone for just showing up. I’ve dealt with my own tickets and had better results. I really needed this off my record so I tried being represented. Big mistake here.

P.s- I also told them how horrible of a job I felt they did right away. They really don’t care.

I got careless driving ticket. I could have lost 6 points but eddie saved all my points and converted ticket to no parking ticket.

My Speeding ticket for doing 85 in 60kms zone has been represented by OTT legal service in Brampton today.
I got an email saying that a guilty plea with reduced charge with no demerit points has been entered because the officer has a strong evidence. It still shows on my record since affecting my insurance premiums. Atleast you guys should have tried to keep it off the record.

Eddie is a retired OPP officer who seems to have great knowledge regarding these matters.
The way he explained me the scenario, I was pretty confident that it would stay off the record. But, it didn’t turn out to be a good day for me.
Still I am thankful for getting rid of my demerit points.

Save yourself the money and go represent yourself. Eddie tells every customer he can reduce the fine if not get rid of it, and eventually what ends up happening is you getting a email from his assistant Eva or whoever else is working in the office. The email says there was evidence against you and that a guilty plea was entered and thus a lesser charge or fine was negotiated, which is exactly what you can do walking in court yourself. The problem is, Eddie knows when a charge cannot be lowered but he refuses to tell you, making you pay him hundreds of dollars just to do exactly what you can do by representing yourself in court for free. Despite all this, be prepared to not hear from him at all after your court date, and instead have to chase your lawyer down by calling him constantly and then finally end up having to request an email from the office receptionist or assistant. If this firm's ethics weren't in question just by reading that, they definitely are when you take in the fake self-given 5 star reviews to help ensure they can scam more people by giving them confidence in this nearly 4 and a half star rated organization. Get a local lawyer or just save your money, represent yourself and pay the fine.

I got a speeding ticket in school zone in September last year. I went for early resolution but did not come to a settlement cause I was getting three demerit points and the fine was about 400 bucks. Based on the reviews, made a visit to OTT legal and spoke with Eddie. From the beginning, he was honest and told me that I should have accepted the deal with the prosecutor during the early resolution meeting but he would try his best to bring the case in our favour. Just got an email from him Today that the case has been dismissed. Could not be happier. I definitely recommend giving a visit to Eddie at OTT legal for traffic and criminal charges.

Once that happens there is minimal contact or support. They are unwilling or unable to address any fears you might have or stand behind their commitment.

Please look elsewhere for representation.
Even if it is just to have an agent attend on your behalf. Xcopper is a cheaper alternative.

The best alternative is going to court yourself.

OMG: Reading the owner's response to a few of these people, mainly Agon R and Yans, this guy is dysfunctional and TMI. I need to pick a place, and X-Copper has bad reviews too, so my search will continue. For an owner to respond with as much detail as he does is kind of sick. Also, too much time on his hands. Reminds of of Amy's Baking Company. Then, the 5-star reviews look kind of fake, and self-promoting-after all, he puts his name in the positive reviews (and many of these reviews just have one review under their belt). Most people don't go out of their way to post a good review; it's usually the opposite. I'm new to Brampton and read reviews before I pick a place. Not picking this one based on the owner's responses. TMI is kind of unprofessional, like the Rabbi in Seinfeld.

I got a speeding ticket back in December 2017 and I was extremely anxious and worried. I was pulled over for going 139 on the highway (4 demerit points and a fine of over $250) and after weeks of searching different places, I was recommended OTT Legal Services from a friend. I went in for a free consultation and Eddie made it clear that there is no guarantee that the ticket would be dropped but he would try his best. And he did. My court date was yesterday May 3rd, and I received great news today that the case was withdrawn, so no points or fine! I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from Eddie, and the front desk receptionist, Eva. If you're looking for someone to take the weight off your shoulders, don't hesitate to call Eddie. Absolutely amazing.
