Very good and organized service. Coffee shop with decent prices. Plenty of room in the washrooms. The station is clean.

Love the design and layout of this station:) Has a very 60s look but still modern at the same time too, i just wish all the platforms were high level, freight can have "gauntlet tracks" or a bypass track installed.

This modern looking train station is the main rail hub for the national capital region. It serves only via rail trains that connect to the rest of the network via Toronto and Montreal. The file is lucking food and shopping facilities. You can get Uber delivered, but check the time of your train you could be short on time. The good part is the wifi access and the proximity to transit. There is also a lounge for the business class travellers.

Website is trash and buggy. Keeps refreshing on the payments page and will never let me check out. Tried different browsers, computers, etc. Just garbage.

Worst experience of my life, I've never seen delays like this in my entire life. Took me 11h from Ottawa to Toronto. Good luck never taking the train with via rail ever again.

It’s not a maintained train station, and is a good waste of our tax dollars. Very dirty and obsolete.

Via rail is the worst transportation system. It seems that every time I take the train, we are faced with delays. Hours of delays. Whether it's going from Montreal to Ottawa or Toronto, something is bound to happen.

I travelled from Ottawa to Kingston today and I had the best experience. I was having trouble going down the escalator with my two bags. The Via staff escorted me to the elevator and brought my bags right to the train luggage department, also helped me find my seat. They went the extra mile. I was leaving behind my family in Nova Scotia that was under a hurricane warning to care for my Father who is having heart surgery. I wish I had of noted the names of the staff members, but thank you for making my journey so pleasant.

Phenomenal staff. When collecting my elderly mom, Via Rail Police office went running after her to make sure she went in the right door, so we could find eachother. When sending mom back home, gate agent took her bag for her, and walked with her all the way into the train until she got seated. THANK YOU!

The service and employees are top notch.my grandson is safe and on his way home all with excellent help.thank you.

This is my first and last time using the train. I sant my son from Ottawa to Montreal to meet his friend. The train was 2.5 hours late one way and 30 minutes late the other way. And I had to pay $170 for this wonderful experience. Also they don’t take cash in the train, my son couldn’t get any drink or snacks.

Nice place. They make masks mandatory in the station as well as in the trains. Comfy for lounging

I expected the main train station in the Canadian capital to be more iconic and closer to downtown but it turned out average. Luckily there is a nearby local line that connects to the centre of the city.

Dining options in the station are limited and could have been less expensive, and I also noticed an awful odor as I disembarked my train on the outdoor platform, I hope this is taken care of.

But what causes a more serious concern is the quality of Canadian railway. It's miserable and requires immediate attention. The train on my trip from Ottawa to Toronto didn't feel stable at all on the tracks, kept swinging left and right at full speed. It was so bad I wasn't able to use the bathroom normally, required substantial amount of muscle work and balancing just to be able to stand there! I am not kidding, it was that uneasy!
