Very satisfied with our experience. We purchased as Quebec residents and they took care of all the paperworks and even took it in Gatineau for the mechanical inspection. It saved us so much trouble. Just starting our search for an RV. Stopped here to view a couple of the class C motorhomes. Salesman was very knowledgeable and happy to show us what they had on the lot. He didn't pressure us and let us look around at our pace.

I’ve called about 5 other places but decided to go with Ottawa Camping Trailers (OCT) because of the reasonable quote and professionalism that Jason demonstrated over the phone. And they were able to meet my crazy deadline. THAT was one of the BEST decisions ever!

The staff are phenomenal here. We bought our fifth wheel at another dealer, 6 hours from Ottawa. We searched for a dealer that could take us on regarding warranty (brand new Jayco Eagle). Everyone else said no. Blaine, at Ottawa Camping Trailers said "of course" they'd look after us. The folks in service are excellent and very helpful. Jason, the parts guru is amazing, having even made suggestions, aiding in the mobility issues I have (disabled Veteran). He'll find what you need, and quickly.
The techs are second to none, with a lot of experience and skills, no job is too much for them.
The RV industry needs more dealerships like this one. Ottawa Camping Trailers is a great place, with great people.

The best rv/trailer dealership in the ottawa area. Great prices for quality new and used trailers.

Do not deal with Ottawa Camping Trailers. They are part of the Butler group and talk the talk well. Brought my trailer in for spring service, wheel bearings and de-winterizing. Paid over $700 with no questions asked, brought trailer home and found bearing caps not installed, and antifreeze still in system. Called to question this with service manager and was told he would definitely get back to me in 1-2 days. Heard nothing after 1 week and called back. Was again told I would he would get back to me in a day or two……NOTHING! Went to dealer to confront him face to face and was given a refund of ONLY $85.00. Will never go back!

These people are screwing over my parents. Trailer was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago. It was delivered yesterday 5 hours after the agreed upon time resulting in lost wages for my father. The trailer was just dropped in the wrong place after the driver tore up the lot.

Their response was “you paid for delivery not for parking it correctly” that’s good customer service.

On top of all this the trailer was delivered locked with the keys inside. Icing on the cake. They have since been waiting over 24 hours for replacement keys. No one has returned any calls.

Expect Ottawa Camping Trailers to give you the shady run around. Bad vibes and do business in bad faith.

AVOID AT ALL COST

He also gave us a training tour and explained everything so well. Marc in service was so helpful with our delivery and answering questions. Thanks to a great team!

We are seasoned campers in our 60's, so we know the difference between good and bad service. I dealt with the big box dealers in Ottawa on several occasions over the years. Had travel trailers, hybrids, tent trailers. Now ready for a motor home. We got "best deal possible" prices from big box guys. No one offered a decent trade in value on our new camper. They asked a fortune for used motor homes in rough condition.
Then, went Ottawa Camping for the first time ever. Wow. Treated so much better. We looked at a new motor home comparable to those used ones with no warranty. Blaine saw my trade and offered an excellent price on a brand new motor home, cheaper than the used one!
Blaine and Devon were awesome to deal with and gave us an incredible price! I highly recommend Ottawa Camping before anyone else in the Ottawa valley!

Great place. Nice selection. Amazing knowledgeable service both in person and over the phone. 100% would shop here again.

#3 the walk through was clearly a joke the guy thought it didn't have top stove igniters and went to get a bbq lighter he came back and i had lit myself and showed him clearly the spark igniter all trust was lost from that point on with knowledg asked him with other things he said those where add-on extra purchase ok clearly sales didnt mention anything about these items
#4 missing battery when tried to park the camper and had to purchase and run 60 metres of extension of high grade not to loose amperage
#5 need lots of repairs done clearly wasn't build in proper tempatures that thongs only settle and deformed and cracked throughout 1 month of usage.i was going to opt out of the buy but sales assured me their word things will get better and gave me there word for a happy and content buy.but now they cant fix all the repairs and they do not know when they can get it all done first camper owner and this is how they treat customers

with all said and done dont buy open up your options as this place is filled with lies a deceiving people

Just pick up my 2021 kz Sportsman Classic, it was such a pleasant experience, everyone there are super pleasant and knowledgeable, won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone

Worst Company to deal with ever. The Service Manager (Mark) is useless. Every time I have an issue and believe me there have been many since I bought last years model that was supposed to be brand new, I have to escalate to the owner (Blane MavAvoy).
I purchased a hybrid trailer (July 2/2021) and before I even picked it up, I was advised new canvas was on order for the side bed. I went camping with it to try it out and came back to the dealer with a fairly large list of repairs required. I left the trailer with them July 27 and advised I would return August 30th to pick it up giving them plenty of time to fix the issues. Needless to say most issues were not corrected. Now the owner does not have the guts to call me back! I am sorry I paid them in full and did not finance through them. Now they have my money so it’s too bad so daft is the attitude they have. I have a document in writing that says they will repair anything on my trailer for a year. Yet the owner will not call me back to address my issues! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP

Excellent service, honest and no sales pressure made buying our first travel trailer from Ottawa Camping Trailers a really stress free pleasant experience. Its our first purchase from them but definitely won't be our last.

These guys are great, Been trying to find a door handle and blind repair kit for my RV for a month or so and no other RV dealers would return my call or answer my emails. Theses guys not only got me what I needed at a good price but they also contacted Jayco to see if I still had warranty on my trailer even though I did not purchase it there. The parts guys and warranty girl were absolutely the best. Best customer service I have ever had. We are new to Rving but I can honestly say when it'd time to upgrade we will be going to Ottaeab Camping Trailers.

Disappointing after sales service. The first red flag was when we bought our trailer in 2017. When we called to ask questions, we always had trouble reaching people and getting callbacks. We had an issue needing repair and the response was so laconic that we decided to fix it ourselves instead of getting it fixed under warranty. This summer we ripped our roof and I sent a message to the Service Dept through the internet. Even though there was a potential $5000 repair for them, they never responded at all, and it has now been about three weeks. (And I know the process of using that internet system works because I also sent a message to a competitor who answered the next day with great advice on how to protect my roof, dealing with insurance, etc.). Needless to say, the roof repair has now been booked elsewhere, and the new trailer we are shopping for will be bought elsewhere as well.

My girlfriend bought a text trailer from them nothing but a hassle from dealer to pick up, stuff was REMOVED from the trailer after she bought it (was in wheel chocks, & some other extras that where seen when looks at it)
No curtains, they said some would be included,
She had it two weeks then they basically provided toilet paper quality, then they gave her money to cover the cost,

So in closing nothing but a bunch of trained monkeys working at a circus

Service meets expectations but the amount of well priced products for RVing exceeds expectations, and if that was not enough the super friendly staff will do what they can to get ya what ya need, if ya need it. Nice to hear advise that saves ya money.

I highly recommend! Please note, we brought our 3 boys with us shopping (they are true boys.lol) Adam was so patient with them even though they were quite excited. He took the time to answer all of our questions and even let us visit the RV a second time after making our decision. He was absolutely amazing. We really appreciated the play area for the kiddos when we were signing paperwork, honestly, that was genius! Filomena was equally amazing. She took the time to explain EVERYTHING. I was so impressed! She was very knowledgeable and made sure to cover everything we needed to know. She is so organized, we felt such in good hands. We loved her personality and how she relates to her clients. I received a call to set up our Demo 2 days after our selection and Mark was so nice. Purchased trailer on-line without seeing it prior to delivery. All was good, very pleased. Sales and finance staff very pleasant to deal with. Was delivered to us which is a 6hr drive.but no problem for Brian. He is so pleasant and professional. Wore his mask and gave us a demo of the trailer and many tips regarding maintenance and setup.thank you all and so excited to take it out on May long weekend. Nice place with lots of trailers of all sizes. Pricing is good compared to other places. Just not too many used trailers for sale. They are selling like hot cakes.

This company is completely dishonest and deceitful. If you have any issues after your purchase, they will simply use the line that all of their trailers are sold 'as is' and they will refuse to do anything about it. Stay away and go somewhere else - where they actually value quality, trustworthy customer service!

UPDATE-20/7/2020: Awning Broke a month ago, The electronic module just stopped functioning, confirmed by the dealer.now they are waiting to hear from the extended warranty... The warranty cie.claim they received a request for a broken awning arm and seized motor. Excuse me? The warranty cie asked for more info, the trailer place is waiting on the warranty cie... Who is lying? Blaine McAvoy should be overseeing his customer service.

Jury still out.bought $4K extended warranty on a brand new Trailer, and I am still waiting to get issues to be resolved that were reported when the trailer was picked up.a year later, still waiting.

We walked in with no experience, absolutely no knowledge, walked out of there feeling confident and ready for this new adventure.
What an amazing feeling!
When we made the decision to go “look” at the selection of rv’s and to get somewhat of an understanding on how they work.we met Filomena. She came right up to with a great attitude and welcomed us with open arms. We were honest from the start - we do not have any knowledge on these at all, we will need not only a visual on whats available, but some information would be great lol She was understandable, very attentive and helpful. It did not take long until we had our heart set on a 25” Forest River Grey Wolf 2020! From sealing the deal with Blaine, to easy going process on approval with Filomena, to our how to use with Rick, ending with specific upgrades/final touches with Paul we definitely felt the “family atmosphere” during the entire experience. Questions/Concerns were quickly answered/put at ease with a quick response via phone, email and even text. We highly recommended Ottawa Camping Trailers who most definitely exceeded our expectations. Bought a trailer from them about one year ago, terrible customer service, have not fixed any of the problems we’ve had with the trailer and are not responding to any of the emails we’ve sent. Now, at a campground near Ottawa, awning opened, motor is apparently dead, and won’t retract. They are telling me there is a 2 to 3 weeks waiting time! One of the service guy told us to somehow close the arms and attach the best we can so we can go back home! Do not buy a trailer from them.

Had my 2013 Aliner ranger 12 in for service. They were to check bearings, brakes for me. Paul and his crew were exceptional. They had one mechanic pulling the trailer out of the service bay, and two other mechanics show up to spot him to make sure he doesn't hit anything, WOW< they care, then, the mechanic who did my work who drove the fork lift says, dont leave yet, I want to make sure your wheel lugs are properly torqued. GEEZ. I had told them I thought the bearing were finished, but no, they said, we cleaned up everything because corrosion was the noise I heard that I thought were the bearings. These people are honest, have integrity and are professional in the service department. They went beyond as well with some other little things, just amazing service excellence and I am in the service field. Bravo you guys, amazing! Cheers Al

This place went to hell when they were purchased by the Butler Group. They tell you one thing but don't follow through. This was always our go to for any of our camping needs. No more.

First time buying a camper and we got the most amazing and professional service from beginning to end. We definitely recommend this place you won't be disappointed

We had a great experience while we were shopping and buying, but the minute we signed those papers.we were just another notch in their belt. We never got a call telling us when it was gonna be delivered, nor a call regarding our walk around. I HAD TO CALL and ask and had 1 day notice on the delivery. Then the trailer was suppose to be delivered on site, it was left at the gate. The tanks were suppose to be emptied and one of them wasn't so my toilet was 3/4 full when we got it. Now there's an issue with my pilot switch. I called this morning (07-27) and emailed them a picture of the issue. I was told I'd get a call back today. Nothing. I called at 5: 20 after I was done work just to be told the service guys are all gone and I have to wait til tomorrow. But to be able to shower, I have to shut off my AC and my microwave, and switch my heat to electrical so I don't jump the breaker. Not professional at all once you sign on the dotted line.

From start to finish our experience with Ottawa Camping Trailers has been fantastic. You don't really know a business until you see how they react when you have a problem. When we had a couple minor maintenance issues they were so understanding and responsive. They took the trailer back, got it in the shop and resolved everything right away even though the problems may have been user error on our part. Fantastic company and highly recommended.

Just wanted to share my experience with everyone. We brought in our Trailor for warranty work and I have to say in all of my years with a Trailor I’ve never experienced quality workmanship. I had searched far and wide, viewing several diffrent rv dealerships for our trailer. Had very bad experiences and most places couldnt find what we needed. The sales rep was very helpful and took his time to really understand our wants and needs, refused for us to settle for less and they went out and found us the perfect trailer at an amazing price I couldnt believe they offered us this price. The fiance guy devon was absolutely amazing exsplained everything, from extended coverage to other options, what to take and not to based on our needs and wants. No pressure, real easy to deal with. I dont right reviews but I had to from the amazing service they offered. Will be buying from them from years to come.

We just bought a Cherokee Forest River 39SR and we couldn't be happier. The staff were very knowledgeable, considerate and understanding. First of all, as we walked into the facility, we were immediately greeted by Adam, one of the sales person. Adam was extremely helpful and didn't waist any time. He showed us exactly what we were looking for and what we could afford. Absolutely no up-selling or dishonesty, by the salesperson or Blaine (Manager). Last but definitely not least, it couldn't have happened smoothly without the Financial Manager (Filomena). Not only was she extremely polite and and professional. Her expertise and experience as a Financial Manager convinced us that we were in good hands. Filomena was able to get us financing for our trailer within a day, when other Camping RV locations couldn't. Filomena went over and beyond to provide exceptional service. Filomena clearly explained the financial breakdown and warranty of the trailer step by step. Yesterday, the review I wrote was at 1 star due to a variety of reasons which is irrelevant at this point. After today, not only did I delete the negative review but I am now giving 5 stars and wish I can give 6. Not only did the sales team assist us in addressing our concerns, they have gone above and beyond. By all standards, they have exceeded our expectations and were able to get us into a brand new trailer which we thought was not possible. I am beyond grateful to both Lucas and Blaine for taking the time to work with us. These two individuals have given us every reason to come back in the future. As well, working with Devon through the financing was an absolute breeze. He was thorough and ensured that we had a full comprehensive understanding of the terms, etc. It was just an absolute pleasure working with all of these 3 individuals. I will be recommending Ottawa Camping Trailers to family, friends and colleagues. For anyone in the Ottawa valley and beyond looking for an RV or anything trailer related, this is the place to bring your business. Not only will you be satisfied, you will be blown away by the service and care provided. I really do not like providing reviews but they have turned a negative into a positive and did so immediately. Attempted to reach a salesperson and missed their callback. When i called in to speak to a rep the gentleman on the phone was rude and not helpful. "Well i don't know who called you, what trailer do you want? " Isn't the kind of customer service that wins my business. Terrible customer service from the very first interaction.
