We contacted Ottawa Deck and Rail for a stairway that we had built for access down to our lake. We provided Kelly with our drawings and he provided the quote quickly. This was our second time dealing with Kelly and we found him to be friendly and professional, but not at all pushy. When the railings were installed, the crew arrived when expected and worked hard throughout the day. They were friendly, polite and communicated very well with us as they explained issues and made suggestions for possible solutions. Our home builder was also on site that day and advised how impressed he was with the installation crew and with the product. He took their business card to recommend Ottawa Deck and Rail to future clients, if requested.

I had an excellent job done for our residence. Kyle answered my call and was polite, and very professional, knowing exactly what I wanted. He gave me a written quote within an hour. The quote was accepted and the work was to be done in less than two weeks. In fact it was done in less than a week and was completely done to my satisfaction. The installer was also very polite to my wife and did the job expertly. The whole transaction was an example how a business should be run. All the best in the future.

We used Ottawa Deck and Rail for the installation of hand rails on our tiered patio and front steps. They were responsive to all of our questions and did a great job on the install. They were very considerate of the fact that we had a dog and made sure that the area where they were working was clean when they left.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Ottawa Deck & Rail. I received a quick response from Kyle to my initial email inquiry and was so pleased with all my discussions with him. Delivery and installation happened within a week of my giving them the go-ahead. Mytch and Anthony were great to deal with. They asked for and listened to my input during the installation. Between my vision and their professionalism and experience there is now a handrail for these difficult-to-navigate front steps!

We had to replace the railing on our deck, part of which had been damaged in the May 21 derecho. Kyle L.of ODR very helpfully recommended a contractor who did a wonderful job of repairing the deck and preparing it to receive its new railings. Kyle also skillfully helped us through the choices of railings on offer. The installers (Mytch R.and Anthony) were similarly skilled and a pleasure to deal with. Altogether a very gratifying experience.

Great job all around. Everyone was super helpful and the installation wait time was very little.

I am extremely pleased with my new railing from Ottawa Deck and Rail. The installers completed the installation in a mere two hours. No trace of the previous rusted out mess was left. The railing is solid as a rock and looks great. The cost was 1/3 to 1/2 of quotes I had obtained for custom railings.

We needed our front railings replaced for the entrance to our house. Ottawa Deck and Rail were very prompt to provide us with email quotes based on photos and information/dimensions we provided them.

Once the quote were provided, we were provided two different options and they also explained to us clearly the difference between them.

They scheduled us in for the railing replacements promptly once we had to get some other concrete work on the stairs completed.

On the scheduled day of the job, they called us in the morning to confirm. They showed up on time, and did the work very efficiently and left the place clean.

They even disposed of our old railings rather than leaving them behind for us to deal with on our own.

All in all a great experience and we would highly recommend them to others.

Installed railings on front and rear entrance.professional to deal with and work completed when needed and on time.

What a fabulous experience this was. We worked with Scott and Rene (both pros!) and are very happy with the glass in rail system they set up around our very large deck. They were happy to accommodate my desire to have glass (rather than a post) beside the hot tub, so that our view into the woods would be clear. Highly recommend!

We had to redo the original deck (which still needs to be finished) at the house we bought. We decided on composite and from a suggestion from a friend to try Ottawa Deck & Rail. We were extremely happy we did, since the railing is now the focal point of the deck. The service from the quote stage with Scott to the install from Logan was professional, on time, and a very positive experience. On the website it states that it is cheaper then the rail systems from the big box stores. I had roughly priced it out before contacting Ottawa Deck &Rail and I believe with the installation it was still cheaper as they stated.
