Ottawa Downtown Dentist

Been going to Downtown Dentist for over 10 years and have always had a great experience with Doctor Wakter and his team.

It's been a few years coming here and Dr watker is the best, the staff at the front are very attending.

They're always such a delight to visit. The staff, absolutely all of them, always go above and beyond and are so kind.

Invisalign, Dr Wakter is a leader in Invisalign technology and treatment. He has produced amazing results in my difficult case all the while being very sensitive and open to my needs in codeveloping my plan.

It is always a positive experience with excellent and professional dental services thanks to Kim and Dr. Wakter. I look forward to my appointments with them. Thanks!

Friendly staff including Dr. Wakter himself; the office has the feel and closeness of a family business.
Always a good service with prices lower than average (I find). I found Dr. Wakter in 2016 when I was a student with a small income, little coverage and a cavity so bad I got a deferral on my final exams. Theirs was the most affordable estimate and I stayed ever since.
Public transit is literally at the door, but if you drive, parking is free.

Very friendly and professional, called in with an emergency and they book me an appointment within a few hours. Amazing staff and dentist

Zeinab is the best hygienist I've ever seen. She gave me an impeccable cleaning and made recommendations that were well suited to my situation. Zeinab's approach is very human and her service is ethical.
I recommend her very highly and unfortunately I can't give her more than 5 stars. She deserves 10 stars.

So disappointed, after driving for 35 minutes, turned away by the carpark attendant at the gate even I told him (red shirt) repeatedly my wife and I both came for dental appointment. The inconvenience is turning away shop tenants' business.

Dr. Alex takes extra care to make sure his patients are comfortable and feel no pain.
He and his staff are truly Professional.

Best cleaning I've had in a very long time. Thanks to Hygienist Kim on a job well done. I would highly recommend her when you need to have a cleaning done.

As usual Dr Wakter is a true professional. His dental technicians are also professional and willing to help. Great dental practice.

I am anxious re: dental treatment to the point of avoiding going to a dentist for approximately 5 years even though I have ongoing dental problems. Explained my fears & unavoidable reactions (excessive swallowing, coughing, shaking etc). DrAlex is patient, empathetic & worked with me to address my issues. He, and his entire staff are professional, excellent at their area of expertise and just plain kind. It is my experience in any workplace that skill & attitude of support staff are a direct result of the boss they work under. I have NO reservations in recommending this dentist!

Excellent atmosphere, the whole team is kind and professional, they truly did something amazing with my Invisalign treatment. Only 1.5 years and my smile is now what I always dreamed of, I would have done it sooner if I had known what Dr. Wakter is capable of, and how nice of an overall experience him and his team made it. Extremely pleasant experience. Had bonding done and the Dr. Wakter was not only warm and personable but was very professional and extremely experienced as the results beat my highest expectations. Very natural results. Also his Hygienist did some extra work at no cost because she saw the need and that was very appreciated. Transferring here as my new dentist.
