My husband Marcel was treated by and had surgery with Dr. Souaid.
Rather than repeat we agree wholeheartedly with all that was said in the other 5 star reviews.
Excellent doctor.knowledgeable.caring.kind.

"Dr. Souaid" is a very busy guy that treats his patients in an inhumane and inconsiderate way.

I have been seeing ENT specialists for 43 years now and I have had some wonderful specialists over the years including Dr Souaid who has been my ear specialist for several years now. I’m truly grateful to him for his patience, kindness, understanding and professionalism. The receptionist has always been kind to me and always works out a way to get me an appointment at last minute. Thank you!

Dr. Souaid is by far the best specialist I've ever delt with. I've had problems with my left ear for many years and went from one specialist to another. He is very caring and very attentive to all my worries and concerns. Dr. Souaid preformed my surgery and it went better than i could have expected. I definitely want to give the receptionist that works at this clinic a shout out because she's so kind and very understanding to my urgent needs and had always fit me in to see Dr. Souaid when it's been urgent. Overall this clinic is 10 out of 10.

The lady doing the testing at the Carling Clinic is extremely rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

My wife had sinus issues for years, causing severe pain. Dr. S treatment plan was very effective. We both found him to be caring and friendly as well.

I have been going here for over a year now and am very pleased with Dr. Souaid and his team. I had a misdiagnosed ear infection from 2 trips to a walk-in clinic and was immediately squeezed in by the receptionist to get the proper diagnosis and medication. I am absolutely grateful for her compassion, understanding and support, she certainly went above and beyond. Dr. Souaid is efficient and to the point, follow-up appointments are quick and booked effortlessly. Thank you!

I have had a few ear surgeries, (mastoid, osicullar chain rcsn) and dr souid is now my most recent dr, and I wish he had been before, I've only seen him once but didn't want to do surgery which was my hope and was relieved to hear. Although I know my ear is in constant disarray I hope to update this in time with good news

The Staff Was Nice, But I Would Reccommend Another ENT, Man Didn't Seem Like He Had Any Time In The World For Me, Like He Was Stubborn To Do Any Further Investigation, Very Picky, But That's What They Get Paid To Do Right, So Many Better Options Really.

I was referred to Dr. Souaid for a very serious and unusual issue with my ear. He has been so kind and caring and truly gave me my life back. I can not thank him enough for the surgery her performed and the results after. You can tell he knows what he's doing and is very sensitive with his treatment. You would be lucky to be seen by him!

L had appointment for looking my ear wax.the doctor without looking told me there is no wax and it is clean.their 2 audiologists found wax and tried to clean it.l had another appointment with another good doctor which looked in my ears and removed twice all waxes.l am hoping what happend to me not to happen to an other victim. It was a waist of OHIP and taxpayers money if he charged.
I wish OHIP read my coment and contact me to have more explenation.l am realy frustrated why he did that to me.

I was referred to Dr. Souaid by my family doctor to deal with recurring ear infection and was build up issues. Dr. Souaid was rude and would not listen when I tried to explain either treatments received, or even answer his questions.

When asked why I was seeing him, I replied it was to establish a treatment plan. His reply was that it should be established by my family doctor. He spent the rest of the appoinment (A) criticizing my family doctor and (B) making me feel I was making him waste his time. The appointment whose goal was to establish a treatment plan ending by him basically telling me not to come back.

I've been lucky. I have not had too many bad experiences with the Canadian health care system, but dealing with Dr. Souaid was definitely the worse experience I have had with a doctor.

My experience with Dr Souaid was great. I went to see Dr Souaid last month after having frequent and bad nose bleeds for a couple months. I was called within a week of my referral. He explained the cauterization procedure and how to care for it afterwards. I am very thrilled with the results, I no longer experience nose bleeds. Thank you very much!

I went to three doctors and only Dr. Souaid helped me to know what my problem was Thanks to him.and his crew who were also very respectful.

Dr. Souaid is even more ignorant than his bad-mannered admin staff who found it acceptable to talk poorly of other patients without hesitation. Not welcoming or friendly and my reminder notice of the appointment came at 6: 30-7pm the night before by automated message.
This was their first and only form of correspondence.
Following my lovely experience in the waiting area, his greeting when entering the room was “Why are you here, you’re hearing is perfect”, yet I wasn’t there for hearing issues.
I found him disrespectful and dismissive with his repeated interruptions on me seeing an orthodontist when I was trying to explain my symptoms. I won’t ignore his suggestion of an orthodontist but the condescending attitude wasn’t necessary.
He seems to have forgotten there’s a process of elimination when trying to determine the cause of a patient’s affliction; which I figured was the reason for my referral.
Understandable, no?
Unnerved, I found it hard to explain the pain but when I finally got out how it originates and a couple other symptoms, these fell under his “field of expertise”, but again dismissed. He had zero interest in investigating these symptoms while I explored other avenues.
Needless to say (but I will) not impressed with the services of this office after the painfully long wait.
The only pleasantness of the experience was seeing the gentleman conducting the hearing tests greeting patients equally.

Very arrogant. If he speak French he should have with reading my name. Maybe he did not read my file. Why is first approach is asking why I am there. Daw.are you kidding me. You have not read my Doctor requisition. It took more time to complete the qestionnaire which I am certain he did not read. Lucie

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Souaid. He worked with me multiple times a month for over a year trying to fix my ear/hearing loss. Unfortunately my ear is beyond repair, but he wrote me a personal letter to the Civic's hearing centre and within a few weeks I was fitted for a BAHA hearing implant. I dont usually write reviews, but after reading other patients call him rude, loud, and disrespectful I felt I had no choice. Dr Souaid greeted me every time with a smile and a handshake and was always very polite to my wife and I. I would recommend Dr Souaid to anyone!

I visited a few years ago. Dr had all kinds of patience with me explaining my genetic condition, treatment available. Fabulous follow up. I referred my sister and she had ear surgery taking her hearing from 80 percent loss to 25 percent loss. She was thrilled as her previous ent offered no options. My brother is now planning on seeing him. Life changer for our family.
