Ottawa Fastener Supply

This company located in Ottawa, Ontario sells brand-new home hardware tools but does not honour warranty policy or service parts and maintenance.it is not a reliable company.

Extremely helpful! I had a builder strip a screw and I had to try and hunt down a replacement (even home depot didn't have the right one!).

The employee found a close enough match and the customer service was great! The store was well organized and I wasn't bothered while I waited for them to match it.

It was a very small purchase so I was worried initially but I didn't feel that impacted the quality and communication with the employee.

I will be returning for any future projects and reccomending!

Dan was extremely helpful. Came up and asked if I needed help was able to find everything I was looking for. Will definitely be getting my work supply's here after such great customer service!

I've been to this establishment several times to get my tools serviced. Very fast, efficient and knowledgeable staff and super friendly. As a contractor, my tools are my livelihood and they always get me up and running ASAP. Five star service for sure.

Took my old hurqvarna Special 45 chainsaw in for repair. They said it needed a total rebuild to the tune of $350+. I refused the repair and took back the pieces since they were going to charge to reassemble. I took the pieces to another engine repair place who reassembled it and diagnosed the problem as a rotten fuel line, dirty carb and for $70 it' running like new. I can only guess that Ottawa Faster was more interested in selling me a new one and wasn't ashamed to lie in order to do so. It's easy to say no if you're not interested in the work.

All staff very friendly and helpful, especially Mike who was incredibly knowledgeable and able to assist with my problem.

Very helpful - even with my small 6 bolt and 4 washer purchase. Good selection of tools and fasteners. Very pleased with the shopping experience.

Lots of stock of everything you need and even things you never knew existed. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.

Staff is extremely unhelpful and borderline rude. Do not seem like they care at all and have no customer service. As a store it's good, but the staff ruin it. Bells corners is the way to go.

I love this place! Excellent service and plenty of hardware for just about anything you're building.

Community needs more businesses like this. Staff is extremely helpful and go out of their way to provide knowledge and assistance. I was in this week looking for a tiny screw to repair a ski boot and the employee came up to me right away, found the proper screw and even got out a screwdriver to install the screw into the boot. The cashier was also very pleasant and offered lollipops to my kids.
Such a great experience. Highly recommend this store that provides a critical service to actually be able to fix things instead of throwing them out and having to buy new.

Five star service, but could certainly always increase selection and choice and quantity of products and lower prices and certainly increase the size of their store location

Twice now I've been at this location and have felt that the staff was at very least unhelpful, and borderline, or even plainly rude. I give the store in bells corners five stars, but definitely have a much lower opinion of this location due to poor customer service from multiple staff at this location. In the future anytime I need something from OFS I'LL MAKE SURE I GO TO THE BELLS CORNERS LOCATION INSTEAD, AND WILL AVOID THIS LOCATION.

Usually has what we need. If not, they can usually order. One of the better hardware stores. Fair amount of parking and staff available.

Along with the sister shop in Bell's corners, this is the best place for fasteners of all kinds.

I've been working with Dan L.to get our new shop set up, he's been amazing and super informative. It's been a stressful time getting everything to come together but he's made the tool and fastener part of it super easy. I'm appreciative of his professionalism and willingness to help out and answer my many questions. Highly recommend!

Overpriced tools. It's a great place if you are looking for something odd items that you cannot find anywhere else. The staff if friendly and helpful.

I have been purchasing from both stores for a little while and I am have been impressed each time. Yesterday was just another great shopping experience, I called up the Robertson store and immediately was on the line with the young lady who was friendly and jovial, She took my order gave me a competitive price, She then proceeded to tell me someone would confirm my order within the hour. 40 minutes later a gentleman called me back to tell me my order was ready for pickup. Wow great service! Later in the afternoon called in to tell them I am ready to pickup my order. They took my information and within minutes came out with my order. Paid for it and on my way.

Why the five stars? In this day and age it is nice to receive the personal touch, You won't get that online or at the big box stores, Everyone i have met at OFS has done an exceptional job providing friendly, courteous knowledgeable service! I will definitely be returning to shop here!
