I had a great experience with Ottawa Home Services. Within 45 mins of my emergency call, Pierre was at my door. He was knowledgeable and professional. When I explained the problem to him, he knew exactly what to look for and he diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and replaced capacitor and made AC start working again.

Their customer service is very bad. They came to do a work they’re not specialized in and altered with my heater now I am suffering for it. I called them, they told me they can’t do anything about it, and if atall they want to try they’ll have to charge me again?

Called Ottawa Home Services for a furnace emergency and received prompt and courteous service from Niko. We didn't want to call the same company we previously used to install our air conditioner and had never used Ottawa Home Services before, but I can say they lived up to their claim of old fashioned real customer service.

We'll be using OHS going forward for all our HVAC needs

We took a long time deciding what furnace/heat pump combination to go with and Kevin, in sales, was very patient and answered all of our questions.
By the time we had decided, with all the supply chain issues, the system price had increased by about 10% (which seemed very reasonable in difficult circumstances).
We were originally scheduled for late September but access to parts pushed that out to early November. Fortunately, the installers probably had better weather in November than they would have had in September.
Clayton and Cameron spent 1.5 days installing the furnace and heat pump. They were very professional. They kept the house clean. They wore masks in the house as requested. They explained the system and how to use it. They made sure all the metal parts were properly recycled. They left my basement cleaner than they found it! I would definitely recommend Ottawa Home Services.

The humidifier on my furnace was leaking. Kris arrived on time, was professional, took time to explain the problem and fixed it. He recorded the number of the humidifier filter and made a note to have the next year's technician bring one with him and instal it at the same time as he/she cleans the furnace. Excellent service.

I just had a service call and Clayton arrived here on time and was very polite, friendly and was training another fellow. He was patient and explained everything to both myself and his protégé. I definitely would ask for him again and was extremely happy with his service and felt very comfortable.

We've been a satisfied customer of Ottawa Home Services for several years since 2016. We are extremely happy. They just installed a new furnace and we decided to rent our water heater with them. Maintenance plan for our furnace, a/c and fire place is with them as well. They have friendly, knowledgeable and professional technicians.

Ottawa Home services were above and beyond professional. Manny was great and very knowledgeable. He was thorough with his inspection and made sure to walk me through what he was looking for. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Ottawa Home Services replaced my old hot water tank in June/21.
They failed to return my old tank and I’ve been billed for two tanks for 13 months. They were not even aware they still had my old tank until I contacted them. They do not respond to emails or phone calls unless you repeatedly contact them. They have acknowledged the error and have since returned my tank. They have stopped responding to my requests about the refund of being billed for two tanks. Beware using this company. Customer service is terrible.

We've been clients of Ottawa Home Services for over a decade and they have been fantastic. Great service today from Manny - he was professional and diligent, he took his time to explain everything to me and to me wife. He was great.

We recently had our hot water tank serviced. I was impressed by the excellent service we received by Manny - the service representative. Manny was very professional, explained in easy to understand manner the items he was checking and provided other valuable advice. I was also happy with the service when calling to book the appointment, the receptionist was also very professional and accommodating.

I had OHS (Manny) come to service my furnace/AC recently and I was very impressed. Not only did he do a very thorough job while being extremely pleasant and professional, but he took the time to explain and answer all my questions in terms I understood - and there were a lot because I wanted to understand all the feedback in his report. I really appreciated that. In my opinion his service stood out well beyond the norm and is a real asset to your team. I thought it's worth taking a minute to pass that along to you since we all tend to only say something if there's a problem and ignore the outstanding work. I hope he comes back to do my service next time!

Manny was the representative who came to my home. He was professional and knowledgeable and seemed to do his job very well.
Aside from this, Manny was personable, respectful and helpful. I wish him success in his endeavours.

About a month ago, a technician from Ottawa Home Services named Manny, provided maintenance services for our furnace and hot water tank. He came back a couple of weeks later to service our gas fireplaces.
On both visits, he was very diligent and attentive to detail. He explained his observations and provided useful guidance – all in a very professional and courteous manner. We were very impressed and would highly recommend Ottawa Home Services!

We called Ottwaw Home Services for an emergency A/C repair during a heat wave on a Sunday! Reception was very kind and receptive. They sent a kind young repair person named Manny. Manny was very knowledgeable, professional and informative. He was able to determine the issue and fixed it quickly while providing advice to keep our A/C unit in good condition. We were also provided with the opportunity to scheduled maintance. Thank you Manny and Ottawa Home Services for keeping our family cool

We called Ottawa Home Services this past Saturday night as our furnace stopped working and it was dropping to a chilly -26 overnight. This technically was an emergency call and this company could have sent a technician over and charged us for an emergency. Instead, Nick (a very friendly, knowledgeable and professional technician) called us and asked a few questions about the furnace (doing some diagnostics over the phone), he then walked my husband through how to do a hard reset of our furnace and just like that, it started working and has been working ever since. He did not charge us for the phone call. It's refreshing to see such great customer service these days and we will definitely be hiring them again for any repairs or maintenance needed in the future!

Niko was courteous and professional when he helped out my neighbors. I will be recommending you guys!

I have been dealing with Ottawa Home Services and Marc Hannah in particular for over 6 years now. The products and service I have received have been second to none. From the receptionist to the technician, everyone has been so good to deal with. Not to mention extremely competitive with a friendly and family approach. *** UPDATE> After posting this review, Ottawa Home Services was able to book the maintenance for this week. ***

I pay a monhtly fee for an annual maintenance plan. Originally this meant twice a year they would come out to perform the maintenance (spring and fall). In 2020 Ottawa Home Services changed that the once a year and the spring maintenance did not occur until August. This year it is proving quite challenging to get Ottawa Home Services to fulfill their end of the contract. I am unable to book the maintenance before December. The response I received was along the lines of they were too busy installing ACs and now furnaces to get to the annual maintenance custmers on time.

Marc, the owner is a great person to work with. Very knowledgeable in the services he offers and makes life super easy.

Ottawa Home Services as my furnace rental is also great, had them for 7 years and not a single problem ever came up!

Yes, the emergency service call was expensive, but the techs and dispatch were extremely pleasant to deal with and professional. Fit our repair into a busy and cold day. Thanks.

I have had the pleasure of working with Marc from Ottawa Home Services since January. I am very impressed with how much they care about their customers. Everyone in the company is very nice and greets you with a smile. I would definitely reccomend them to anyone. Make sure you ask about their rental options!

If you are not an ‘already a paying customer’ you won’t be considered priority. Something to consider when calling. Happy they took my call. They told me it would be a min of 24 HRs hate min to get the service required to get the gas furnace inspected. Possibly 48 or even 72 hrs. With 2 young children of 5 and 7 we can’t have the house at 15 degrees for 3 days:/ Just take that into consideration when calling this company. If you aren’t already a “paying customer” you will not get any priority emergency service. JC Robinson was able to schedule and guarantee same day repair for an emergency of that level which is fantastic.

Ottawa Home Services and the owner Marc were a pleasure to deal with. We received a very prompt quote and the installation of furnace and hot water tank were done right on schedule. We are very happy with new equipment and the service we received. We were a bit disappointed with the cleanup afterwards but Marc was very quick to handle the situation to our satisfaction.
