Ottawa Public Library - Elmvale Acres

Great library. Quiet and has good hours, printing and computer available as well! Would recommend as a study spot, be sure to use their many services as well.

Absolutely love Elmvale branch! It is very small but so cozy. The staff is passionate about their work, they are ready to help and answer any question.

I've been going to this library for years and the staff always go above and beyond. It doesn't matter what time of the day I go, the people working are always so nice and caring.

Lately, I've been going regularly to study for an exam and the people working remember me, and ask how the studying is going. It's very sweet and it makes the experience even better as you can tell that the staff there are passionate about reading, books, and helping out the community.

The place is always neat and tidy too which of course, is always welcomed.

Was in with my grandson who I’m trying to encourage reading he is 6. Asked one of service people for help to find some books for him in French, I don’t read French. I explained he is just starting to read, his age. She picked some books for him when we got home looking further into the selection I noticed they are for older more experienced readers. They are age rated from 7 to 11, what a waste of time. Needless to say my grandson was discouraged.

Very nice place with wide collections of Books for different age groups. However, the facility for study with in the library is very limited.

I have to go *in person* during a global pandemic to renew my card? ! No wonder I haven't been since 2017, hello, it's called the internet! Such ridiculously poor customer service. Wish I could give it zero stars.

The staff make this a little gem of a library. They just love what they do and it shows. Every time I take my toddler, they are so helpful. We always end up leaving with some new favourite books!

There are always new displays of books, making it hard to choose what to read next. They have a diverse set of books for all ages. Get your next page turner here!

You can get any books it's just sometimes you will have to wait enough time to get it. It's nice place and employees are very kind.
