The traffic through the area makes it a little difficult to navigate depending on the time of day, however the variety of stores makes it useful for finding a great deal of things.
Who designed this place? It’s a chaotic maze of stores strewn all over the place with no rhyme or reason and the parking situation, omg what a mess! In my 65 years on this planet, I’ve never seen such a badly designed mall and parking lot! Want to bet this place will be empty (it’s well on its way, with many vacant stores that have closed) in a few years OR SOONER! Sad because some stores that have gone, I liked! Farm Boy has a wonderful train for kids (big & small) to watch!
My family and I love going to Trainyards; from Wal-Mart to Dollarama to Farmboy. A lot of shops, lots of parking and also near (3-5 minutes away only by car) the St Laurent Mall.
The parking and layout is terrible. I stopped at Canada Care Medical which was very hard to find even with gps, and verbal instructions. Friendly staff though and a wide selection of disability related supplies. I rented a mobility scooter on a monthly basis, and paperwork etc was easy and quick. Highly recommend the staff and store despite the difficulty finding their location.
A great selection of stores, have had great customer service experiences in the area. The biggest downside is that it's not very pedestrian-friendly. It's difficult to access via public transit if you have to transfer from the LRT/another bus route, and the parking lot is pretty chaotic.
Depending on what your looking for.lots if shopping a little bit of everything.the parking lot is really not as organized as it should be for such a shopping center
There are some great stores in this mall but the parking and traffic flow is horrible. Traffic islands all over the place, lack of left turn lanes back up traffic, narrow entrances and exits making maneuvering a challenge when it is busy. When it is busy I pass by and go elsewhere.
Lots of shops - some line ups, but generally easy access, parking lot is a dogs breakfast, traffic thru lanes are not clearly marked and cars come from multiple directions, planner could of thought about this a bit more but you generally can park near your shop, walk to the other stores is better than moving to a closer location.
All good. Even the "suits" were polite. I'll be back. Having a Bridgehead inside is one of the best ideas yet. I prefer Canadian companies get my hard, earned money.
Busy parking lots that aren't very pedestrian friendly. There are many stores all in varieties of price ranges and the new farm boy is beautiful and has a heated, salad and buffet style eating area. With options to bring food home in containers or eat in the store. Staff is super friendly!
The GAP Outlet store at the train yard was clean, clothes are not in disarray, not a lot of in store shoppers. However I didn't see any hand sanitizer at the entrance or the exit.
Generally it's ok. This being said, it is not easy to navigate in the parking lot. It takes away from the experience. There's a good selection of stores. You can find pretty well anything you need.
Farm Boy Trainyards - Really spacious and well stocked for a one stop shop. Food court style prepared food area with a burger bar and pizza oven are awesome. Perfect for doing groceries after work and picking up something prepared for dinner.
Wow. Just WOW! This place is HUGE! The new Farm Boy at Trainyards has managed to hit on a winning approach to food shopping in these crazy Covid days. The food, as aways, is plentiful and fresh! The aisles are wide, the "to go" food, former buffet offerings and grills are very sanitary and well presented. Plenty of room to manoeuver and keep appropriate distances between shoppers. The parking lot is an improvement, too!
Why there isn't a bus route running directly through it, I don't know. Also, some of the parking layout is just bonkers. However the store selection isn't that bad. And Chuck's Deli is phenomenal.
I like that everything is there but I hate that you often have to drive to go to another store. These strip malls are bad for the environment. I would rather park in the Glebe or Westboro and go to a locally own spot.
Lots of stores, for clothes and an outdoor store called Sail which is awesome for buying fishing hunting and kayaking supplies plus outdoor stuff for other hobbies.
The staff at la vie on Rose is awful. No hello, no help. I'll take my business and money elsewhere. Tried to find someone that worked there and they were trash talking colleagues or on their phone. There are better stores in Ottawa to spend my money.
There are a variety of stores relatively close together. The only thing I dont like is the brick lining all the curb cuts! They make the curb cuts hard to navigate, in my manual wheelchair.
Walmart the cashier was friendly Siji? Not sure if the spelling is correct, I think she's from sir Lanka, wonderful lady, always wears plastic gloves! And a nice smile! Asked me if it was on my Walmart account and asked if I'd would like to apply for the card. She did her job well. Thank you!
It's a great location for one stop shop. However for someone who doesn't shop here all the time the directory on the website is useless. The store name should be indicated on map directory it self. Posting a photo of the front store doesnt tell me where the store is located.
I love this shopping centre. There is everything here. From Farmboy to Walmart to Dollar stores to Bombay Company to Movati fitness club to 5 Guys burgers. Worth exploring
Great variety of shops to experience. Only draw back is the buildings are spaced so far apart you need to get back in your car to get from one end to the other.
This a destination shopping location with lots of great stores to wander through. Only issue is this is all outside so winter shopping is not fun as walkways can be quite icy and the wind rips down the mall. Walmart at one end, Sail part way down and many unique stores around to hold your interest.
This is another large box shopping centre. The Walmart here is not my favourite. The parking lot design is not the best and some of the stores in this mall are dated.
Great outdoor shopping experience with a combination of regular and outlet stores! A nice alternative to the standard malls. Love the new Nordstrom Rack!
I bought my bean bags from here for my living room. Just 35 dollars each. And i love them. Its been 6 months now and still going strong. Total value for money, and the service was quick.
