Definitely one of the first places I go when I think of treating myself and grabbing a coffee.

I dont often write reviews. But this needs it. Passed by on way back from cottage. Not overly friendly staff. We ordered sandwiches and coffees.
Sandwich left much to be desired.and.for the price too. Practically no ingredients. One server was eating her own stuff right beside when food was prepped.cashier was swatting flies right by food prep area.

Stopped in while passing through Renfrew. My husband and I each had a latte and an oatmeal Reese cookie. Both were incredible! The espresso was amazing and we joked that the worst part about both the latte and the cookie was that we didn’t have more. The coffee shop itself is super cute. Wish we lived closer but I know that we will be back!

This place rocks! Driving through on the Trans-Canada and stopped in, serendipitously. Awesome, funky atmosphere, super cute locally made products and goods, delicious latte and incredibly friendly staff- even at the very end of the day! Do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

I asked for a black coffee and they gave me a hot cup of dark brown gold. The flavor was toasty and warm but not bitter at all the slight sour was no match for my own personality. I flip flopped between sucking it down as fast as I could and savoring each sip.

Also I love the plants around the shop.

Great coffee, atmosphere and especially staff! Try the Renfrew Fog on a cold day or iced lemon brew on a hot day.

Great place! Went with my daughter for a coffee and ended up ordering food and playing a board game. Really lovely way to spend some quality time.

Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee and friendly staff! Definitely worth a stop when you're in the area or looking for an excuse for a fun day trip!

A fantastic stop, excellent sandwiches, local products, delightful and knowledgeable staff with impeccable service. The iced coffee (cold brew) was top notch. I stopped in twice in one week during a long drive from QC to Sudbury and back. OVC was a highlight of the trip!

Popped in for a quick coffee. It's a great coffee shop. Relaxed, lovely staff and some of the best coffee we've had on our holiday. Tasty peanutbutter cookie!

Friendly helpful staff. Great decaf coffee and possibly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Some gluten free snacks and bread are available too.

Ottawa Valley Coffee (we love the Almonte shop) has the best decaf anywhere, bar none! I have tried many brands that use differing methods, and, no surprise, the Swiss-water method is superior, using only pure water to remove the caffeine. OVC decaf retains a robust, true-coffee flavour, and without the use of chemicals in the process, is a great choice for those of us trying to avoid unnatural ingredients in our food and drink. AND. I can drink it all day long!

This was/is a great place for a cup of coffee and treats
Unfortunately two times I stopped in, people ordering after me were getting there beverage first.hmm.
The last time this happened, my coffee, cappuccino, was made and tasted like a cafe latte and it was warm not hot.
Will give them another try and hopefully things work out.

I have spotted Ottawa Valley Coffee at markets in Ottawa, and was glad to finally stop by the shop while on my way through Renfrew. The shop has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, great selection of food, drinks, and goods.

Love the laid back vibe. Great hot chocolate and lattes! We love the breakfast sandwich and the local beer sourced from within 100km that you can't get at the LCBO.we always buy a few to take home.

Had the most delicious dirty chai! Warm, inviting atmosphere and the young woman serving us was very kind. Lovely place.
